Disappointing communication. I contacted this plumber regarding a leak and sent over a photo as requested. He then simply replied 'looks bodgy’. I found this blunt, unhelpful, and unprofessional. A good tradesperson should explain the actual issue and offer a solution, rather than using dismissive language. Not a good way to communicate with a potential new client. I chose to take my business elsewhere.
Had a faulty central heating system. Spoke to Nick from PHD. He promptly arrived at my home and quickly found the issue I had and fixed it there and then. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. His charge for the fix was very fair. I would have no hesitation in using him again the next time I have a problem.
I cannot recommend Nic and PHD Plumbing highly enough, first class service, quick response time and fabulous workmanship and ethics, a true gentleman with a proper old school approach, good value for money too

What a great plumber I’ve found! Can’t believe how easy and straightforward it was to get the toilets sorted by Nic at my place. On and off problems since I moved in, all fixed quickly in one go without hassle. Great communication & a real pleasure to deal with.
Nic came just to fix a basin tap not working but ended up replacing all the old tap washers on 2 sinks and a bath so we now have a fully working and leak free set up for the first time in ages. It was all done with good humour and at a very reasonable price. We will definitely use Nic again!
