From intial planning to completion of our bathroom projects all employees at Aston Cord were professional, reliable and efficient. Excellent work completed by Steve (plumber/fitter) who was very professional and very good at his job and had a positive 'can do' attitude - he was totally reliable and spent 7 weeks installing our 2 bathrooms, covering every aspect of bathroom fitting. His tiling work & tongue and groove installation looks perfect. No hesitation in recommending this company.

Another brilliant experience working with Aston Cord! Worked with Steve and the team on a bathroom refit (our second with them) but have also called on the team for a number of other plumbing-related issues. The team are always professional, personable and complete their work to the highest level. Also just thoroughly nice people! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Very happy with their services. They found out straight away why my boiler needed to repressurize more often than usual and explained every step very clearly. The service is a bit pricey, but this is standard as well. I would definetely recommend them and use them again.

Very good and professional experience with two tap and vanity unit replacements in two very old bathrooms. Job schedule professionally and reliably, the plumber came exactly on time and finished a sizeable job speedily (less than a day) and to a very high standard. He cleverly solved some challenges that our old flat caused, talking to us in layman’s terms for the key issues. Highly recommended. Will be using them again.

Poor service from the beginning to the end. Two jobs, two poor outcomes. The plumber failed to recognise the leak, saying it was a condensation and there was nothing to worry about. When the issue persisted they refused to come back saying that it is difficult to detect some leaks and advise me to call someone else! With the second job-connecting dishwasher machine, he replaced the straight valve to angled one which should not be there as so awkward! He has one that without even asking 'as that the only one he had in the van'! The connection was leaking and he had to come back to resolve it. The plumber did not even bother to ask for permission to use the toilet - just went ahead. I found the plumber and the person on the phone attitude towards women very patronising. The company refused to come back to resolve the leak which was diagnosed as condensation. They refused to refund any money for the failure in service. My advice - stay away from this company.

Delighted with our bathroom refurbishment by Aston Cord, work completed to a very high standard, advice given on unforeseen problems which were resolved quickly and within budget. Steve, our fitter, was a pleasure to have in the house, always helpful and friendly and left the place clean and tidy every evening.

Asked this company to service and check a boiler on a flat prior to exchanging contracts on it. Was stated as being in perfect working order/no problems. I move into the flat and the boiler is leaking—not in perfect working order. Called them to fix the problem and the guy cut a whole in the cupboard to access something, only to realise the side panel was magnetic and no hole needed. Paid for half an hour's labour for him to drill an unnecessary hole! When he was done, he took ages organising his things, I’d assume trying to drag out his time there. He was loud, brash, untidy and left dirty fingerprints all over the walls. Also of concern, I would urge caution to any woman alone thinking about using their services. Very quick and responsive, hence the two stars, but otherwise very unimpressed.

Had a new boiler installed and these guys were excellent. Very responsive and helpful when running through the best options for me and a friendly and professional installation. Would definitely recommend.

We called Aston Cord in the morning as our boiler went down. They travelled to two separate suppliers to collect the necessary parts at no added cost just so we could have our heating and hot water back on before we went away on holiday. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly, both on the phone and in person. This was the first time we have used Aston Cord but I can promise it will not be the last! I would highly recommended Aston Cord.

Cannot fault the service from James. He was so conscious of being safe at all times due to COVID and put our minds at ease. Extremely polite and fixed our issue with a faulty pipe in no time at all. Would recommend!

had our boiler serviced and afterwards the boiler kept going off, we phoned and were told it must have developed a fault, or must have had a fault before it was serviced (which you would think they would notice) which we didn't tell them about, and told to phone the manufacturer as it was still in warranty. Rude and unhelpful.

This company was recommended to me by a property developer friend. I found them impressive. First phone call I asked for some advice and Lee gave me an answer which saved me calling out an engineer. A few weeks later I booked them for a boiler servicing (domestic, in a small house) and they were great. Arrived on time (Lee rang to let me know they were on the way) and did the job without fuss. Reasonable price, too. Will definitely use them from now on. Very pleased.

These guys are brilliant would highly recommend , Spencer and Dan put us at ease straight away and have installed our new heating system with no fuss , they turned up on time and left our property as they found it . I can’t speak highly enough of them and would not hesitate getting them back to do more work . I found the whole experience very seemless and would like to thank them for their effort especially in the heat as well .

Last week our boiler broke down so we called Aston Cord for a quote. Great deal, long warranty, staff very polite and fitting within a week. Boiler is great and home is now warm. Very happy with the service we received. Would highly recommend

I needed an urgent boiler replacement for my Mum who is 88 years old. As you can imagine I was stressing out to get it fixed asap as its very cold at the moment. A nice chap called Spencer came to my Mum's place on the day I called and he replaced the old with a modern boiler. After speaking to him about energy efficiency he told me that the boiler is around 90% efficient compared with the old one that was only 60% efficient. After Googling a price of a new boiler I braced myself when I got the quote but I was pleasantly surprised. Fantastic service, would recommend to anyone.

Such a fantastic company to deal with! Aston Cord were recommended to me by one of my neighbours. I rang them up first thing on a Monday morning and was greeted by a friendly member of staff. I advised them about my boiler playing up and they said they could get an engineer out that very day. The engineer arrived 1 hour after i called. 1 HOUR!!! This was very impressive and the engineer looked smart and professional. He had great knowledge and diagnosed the problem with my boiler very quickly. I would have no hesitation in using Aston Cord again and would strongly recommend them to everyone.
