An absolute lifesaver and a true old-school professional! After 77 days without heating, dealing with incompetent corporate engineers, and facing a terrifying boiler overheating incident (with tractor-like noises and steam), Thomas was the only one who actually used his skills and expertise to fix the issue. While other companies gave false diagnostics, replaced perfectly working parts, and forced unnecessary, expensive work, Thomas came out on his day off (Sunday) even though he was feeling unwell. He methodically investigated the whole system, found that the expansion vessel was completely flat, cleared the massive airlocks from the loft, and safely brought our Baxi boiler back to life in just two hours. He is incredibly honest, decent, and deeply knowledgeable. He didn't just chase easy money—he genuinely wanted to help and ensure our system was 100% safe. Great service at a good price. We had a toilet that kept running and a single panel radiator that needed replacing. Tom came and quoted quickly and then did the job in a professional manner. I now have a lovely warm bedroom and a toilet that doesn't keep running.

We needed a new thermostat fitting and a boiler service. Tom wasn't able to do the work himself, but organised for his colleague Pete to do it instead. Pete was super friendly and even came by on a Saturday to carry out the work. All was done very neatly and quickly. Would highly recommend

Firstly thanks Thomas & his team, onsite visit was arranged shortly and the engineer came to look into my leak and can identify the root cause that the leak was from the water meter and advise me the next actions accordingly. With the advice, the meter leakage should be the responsibility of water company and therefore I contact water company again and told them the findings from Thomas' team. Finally the leak was fixed. We had a gas leak on at Saturday in December and the boiler was capped by Cadence, leaving us without hot water. I rang Tom on Sunday morning and he came out the same day. He quickly assessed the situation, made sure it safe, and got our hot water back on. He clearly identified the problem as a slow leak from the boiler which is something the Cadent engineer couldn’t pinpoint, and then arranged for a new boiler the very next day. He also replaced our door lock as it was broken and serviced the fireplace, and I don’t believe he even charged us for that. top guy.

Had a pipe burst, was with me within half an hour and put the pipes right. Also came back after getting materials to put my floor right too. Amazing service and extremely reassuring, as he had to calm me down while having a panic attack. Really friendly, and great service.

Excellent service - called out on emergency to rectify the terrible work of a previous emergency plumber. Was with me within the hour, explained exactly what he was going to do and even provided a report to help me claim against the previous work. Without doubt the best Plumbing & Heating engineers we have ever used. Tom responded to our urgent call of no heating or hot water immediately & within 5 mins one of his team turned up & started work to rectify the problem in freezing temperatures. Thomas was recommended to me by a friend. Even though I’d just had my boiler serviced by another company, Thomas was by far the most honest and knowledgeable engineer I’ve met. He took the time to explain what the issue might be and talked me through my options if the boiler continued to cause problems. I also raised a concern about my radiator, which other engineers had previously dismissed, but Thomas agreed it could be contributing to the issue. I can’t recommend Tommy highly enough. I urgently needed a pipe leak fixed at my mum’s flat while she was in hospital, and he responded very quickly, assessed the situation, and came back the very next morning to complete the repair. He went above and beyond, carrying out an excellent repair that likely saved us hundreds of pounds in further damage. Contacted Tom as heating wasn't working but I had hot water. I thought it was thermostat but talking through with Tom he advised could be a number of issues so when he came he did an elimination process which identified the problem and he could then resolve it. Tom is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Explained everything and was in regular contact throughout the process. He even called when it got cold after the repair was fixed to make sure heating was working!

I’m so pleased we found Tom and his team. A few weeks ago, they replaced some of the old gas pipes and our decrepit boiler after it started to fail. We have young children and I was a tad stressed out that the boiler would go completely and we’d be without heating in the cold snap. He solved the problem very efficiently and was able to determine what new parts I needed for my boiler. I was full sure my boiler was totally wrecked but Thomas has it back working like new and added some sort of magnet system to help clean particals from the system... ensuring it runs smoother in the future. His communication was excellent throughout, calling / texting and following up after his visit. He went to great lengths to try to fix the issue and provide a temporary solution to the issue. Thomas did a great job at fitting our radiator in the lounge in minimal time. Such a professional service that he performs (along with Andy!) and gave me tips on how to balance the heating of the radiators in the house. In literally freezing conditions, Tom relocated and replaced a boiler to make sure noone froze at Christmas. Responsive, reliable and as always, does what he says he will, when he says he is going to do it.

This was my first time using Tom and it was a great experience. He came round to inspect the issue (timings co-ordinated by him and his partner so I knew when he was coming/when was convenient), explained everything and was clear with costings. Tom was excellent. He attended on the day I phoned him, even though he was unwell. He explained the issues and arranged to fit a new boiler the following day. His attention to detail and his professionalism was exemplary, working very hard to complete the work in good time although extra problems were discovered during the process. And he is a really nice guy!

I contacted Tom about the broken thermostat on my hot water tank, after finding his information on Google. Even though I have British Gas cover, they were absolutely useless and couldn’t/wouldn’t help me. I was feeling quite deflated when I got in touch with Tom but I was pleasantly surprised by his amazing service. I'd never used Tom before he serviced our boiler, but her was so friendly and hard working that we asked him to quote for a new boiler and 11 radiator replacements and his prices were very reasonable. He was such a hard worker and worked long hours to make sure we we weren't without heating and hot water for our daughter. I really like Tom as a person and his work is faultless. Tom fitted us a new boiler when ours was condemned. He was brilliant - prompt, reassuring, great value and gave us good advice on what type of boiler to have and where to have it fitted to maximise space. Since then Tom has become our one and only plumber (we live in an old house so things go wrong) fixing burst pipes, installing new appliances, adding outdoor taps and mending showers etc. Tom is the nicest bloke you could wish to meet and always makes what could be a stressful time a straightforward job. 100% recommend.

Tom was recommended by a friend when my old boiler finally packed up. I had a few quotes and Tom was reasonably priced and explained the process for me. I got booked in for a few days as he also replaced a couple of radiators, but there must be something in his tea as he was done in a day, only needing to return to finish another small problem he found, unrelated to the boiler. All in i found Tom to be a honest, friendly bloke and will definitely be calling him if im in need!

I called Thomas after discovering the boiler in our new house was dead, he was over within 15 minutes to have a look. He took time to explain what the problem was and what my options were. I initially used Tom to replace our boiler and he has become a firm fave for all our plumbing needs, doing our boiler service every year. He has done work in our bathroom, replacing a sink unit, bath panel and towel rail. He also removed a radiator for me. He has also taken the time to share with me what I need to do to keep things running smoothly, which is something not all Tradeys can be bothered with, especially if you're a woman! I had a leak coming from the upstairs bathroom. It was leaking into the kitchen. I called a few plumbers however, none were available. I got Tom’s number and called him. He couldn’t come around on that day but he was able to talk me through what I needed to do to stop the leak at that time. He then came around the next day to fix it. Tom is brilliant and will explain things in a way you can understand.

Tom is simply superb. We’ve used him for everything from services to emergency repairs. You literally can’t fault him. He’ll try everything possible to fix something without it costing the earth and is a genuinely good guy. He even popped in to fix a radiator leak and charged us nothing because it was a quick job and he was just around the corner. Would recommend to anyone.

Tom was able to sort out a mess of a bathroom left mid way through a refit by another plumber, he completed work for us and kept us informed throughout. He installed the whole bathroom, walls, floors, plumbing, suit. Tom had also fixed and serviced our boiler for us when needed. Tom did several jobs for me....a new thermostatic shower bar, a new kitchen tap and a new toilet cistern - he gave honest advice on replacement parts, and took account of my needs and my budget.
