Matt and the team exceeded all expectations. They’ve done an amazing job and went above and beyond with all the work that needed doing at our house. They started quickly and at short notice, were always on time and turned up when they said they would. Also, great communication from the off and throughout the job. All very friendly too! Will be going back for all and any future plastering jobs! Thanks Matt and the team at Smoothcoat!

Matt and the team did a cracking job of replastering our attic bedroom. It was a complicated job but they tackled it with skill and good humour. They were punctual, efficient and tidy. There was no mess. They're even coming back to do the other attic room.

Great job done by Matt and his team. Hallway, stairs and landing done to quality finish, lots of fiddly dado rails, architraves and recesses. Very happy with job and at a good price too. Would be very happy to recommend

Thanks to Matt for a great job done and excellent customer service

I engaged Matt from Smoothcoat Plastering to reskim a room, and the experience has top-notch from start to finish. Matt was incredibly responsive, handling everything from my initial enquiry and site assessment to completion with total professionalism. What really stood out was the work ethic; they arrived the day before to prep the space and even worked through this Saturday (Valentine's Day) to get the job done. By no means was the job rushed. The quality of the finish is excellent. If you want someone reliable who delivers high-quality results, I highly recommend Matt. He's been incredibly helpful with additional contacts for other work that needs to be done at the house and recommending local tradespeople and suppliers.

Matt and his team have come in today up after a full house rewire. He's patched all the channels and holes and skimmed some rooms. Couldn't be happier with his work, they were clean, punctual and Matt's communication throughout was great!

Matt & team were really lovely and easy to communicate with. Quick to find a mutually convenient date and turned up on time. Did a real professional job and both our sparkie & decorator have commented on how good a job they’ve done. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, thank you!

Can't recommend highly enough. Communication was great from requesting a quote to the completion of work, very fair pricing and most importantly they did a fantastic job. I had my living room walls and ceiling done and they've done an amazing job. They did helpful jobs for me as well that they didn't have to (like getting rid of cables and sockets that are no longer in use (TV cable, phone line etc). They left my house neat and tidy. Very happy customer.

Really pleased with the work - overboard and plaster of a ceiling. Matt is a super friendly guy. Great communication from first contacting him. Really efficient and left the room clean. Would definitely recommend and will use again without hesitation.

Smoothcoat Plastering certainly lives up to its name, as the 1970s artex in my bedroom is no more and the walls now have a lovely, silky smooth coat of plaster, which totally transforms the room. I couldn't have asked for more. Matt and his team arrived punctually each day, took great care to ensure that carpets were protected, and worked incredibly hard to ensure that they finished on time. I have already booked them for the next project. I can recommend them without reservation. Many, many thanks.

Matt and his team did a fantastic job of plastering three of our rooms. They have left a perfect finish and cleaned up after work was completed. Matt even dropped in to help with taking the radiator off the wall and to prepare the room ahead of time. We will definitely ask him to come back to do our attic room.

Quick to respond, friendly and clean work. Would happily recommend and use again.

Great job, great service, friendly, reliable and communication spot on. Really happy and would recommend to anyone.

Matt and his team did an incredible job with our newly created kitchen-diner! They completely transformed all our crumbling walls and re plastered the entire room including ceiling, ready for the kitchen to go in. They even rectified some dodgy plastering work a builder had done and also blocked up our old fireplace for us! Super neat job and great communication too. Will absolutely be getting Matt back in again for the rest of the house!

Brilliant job. Repaired some holes left in the ceiling from plumbing work. The repair is seamless and we’re really happy. Matt was really knowledgable and a pleasure to chat too. Would 100% recommend!

Matt and the team did a great job re-plastering our living room and office. They were professional, tidy, and super efficient, working around us for the projects we have on. They truly have done top quality work! Thanks again guys!

Absolutely cannot reccomend Smoothcoat Plastering and Rendering enough. Matt and his team are absolutely fantastic and always do a top notch job. A brillaint finish every time, we have just had our 4th room (Kitchen) plastered by Matt with the others done in the last 2 years, fitting in with our schedule and we will be doing our 5th/6th room (Hall, Stairs and Landing) next week. Matt goes above and beyond with his work and genuinely cares about the finished product he leaves you with. Thanks Matt.

A very friendly and personable team who are extremely knowledgable. Did a great job and came back free of charge when I had a problem and got to the bottom of it (which was with the roof not the ceiling). Communication is also excellent.

We contacted Smooth Coat on a sunday after a leak in our ceiling at home and he popped by the following day. Matt was friendly, on time (something I've found is a rarity with tradesmen) and left our room cleaner than when he started! We've since recommended him to a few friends and family who have all been very impressed. I wouldn't recommend anyone else - 10/10. Thank you!

Made a fantastic job at my house. Would definitely recommend!

Matt and his team have been absolutely amazing - they went above and beyond for us and we couldn't be happier with everything they've done. Incredibly neat and efficient, always turned up when planned, coordinated with other tradespeople and worked well around other jobs happening at the same time, kept everything neat and tidy, and even kept me calm when I was at peak stress levels and losing my sanity with getting everything fixed in our new house in time to move! Matt is very knowledgeable and had loads of good advice about how best to approach the issues with our ceilings and choose the right course of action, and gave some great suggestions for other bits of work we were doing too. Absolutely lovely to deal with and have really helped create a dream home for us - I couldn't have asked for better, they've truly exceeded expectations and have my highest recommendation. I was so nervous about moving home, and the amount of work needed before we were ready to move in seemed completely overwhelming, but Matt and his team have taken all the stress off our shoulders and now I can't wait to get settled in to our gorgeous house. 10/10 and will definitely be calling again for our next jobs.
