Sheffield Plastering Services Ltd gets mostly positive reviews for damp proofing, plastering and building jobs, with several customers praising the finish and the friendly service. One reviewer says the team handled extra building work such as redirecting a downpipe, and another recalls them pumping out a flooded cellar as a favour. One customer reports a very poor rendering job on a new house that was not properly adhered and had to be redone by another contractor at their cost; they say the firm did not put it right or give a refund. Of the positive reviews, one notes a fair price and another says the firm was probably not the cheapest but reasonably priced for the amount of work.

Daniel and his team were fantastic. They did an amazing job of my porch. Work completed was damp proof course, tanking internal walls and general plastering services. They even did some building jobs for me such as redirecting down pipe to stop damp in my house. I’m that happy with the job they did I’ve got them to complete the other porch. They have a great deal of knowledge, expertise and professionalism. Thoroughly recommend to anyone . Would definitely use them again. Thanks so much .

Daniel Ellis and his team were fantastic. They did an excellent job of our damp proof course and general plastering services. Our house is now starting to look like a home! They went above and beyond and even did some building jobs for us such as installing a lintel in our previously dangerous fireplace and making our home safe and sound. Beautiful finish on the plastering throughout the house. Dan was always happy to help out and came out to see us and finish a long and complicated job to a quick timescale and to a very high standard. They were always polite, friendly and professional and the work is exemplary. They even pumped out our cellar when we got flooded by the rain. This was not part of the house they were working in and they did it as a favour as our insurance company refused to come out the same day.. ! Definitely not on their job description so hugely grateful. Thanks to Dan and his team we have beautiful smooth walls in our house and it really looks great. A pleasure to deal with. Probably not the cheapest but reasonably priced for the huge amount of work they carrried out and all damp work is guaranteed and I feel completely confident with their work. They have a great deal of knowledge, expertise and professionalism. Thoroughly recommend to anyone . Would definitely use them again. Thanks so much .

Very poor rendering job to a new house that wasn't adhered correctly to the building and has fallen off. The whole job needed gunning off and re done by another contractor at our cost. We gave them numerous occasions to rectify, but no joy. SPS now appear to have "ostrich" syndrome and are burying there head in the sand regarding a refund. Definitely DO NOT USE them I would have put 0 star rating but the review wouldn't let me.
