We requested a quote to pigeon proof our solar panels from DKG Pest Control. We accepted the quote and the team were booked to come to do the work this morning. They were prompt and really polite and friendly. They finished within a couple of hours and left everything neat and tidy. We were really impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

i cant recommend DKG Pest control highly enough, a very clear plan was put in place for our Rat problem and they communicated next steps with us very clearly. They went out of their way to get the job done effectively as well as completing some other minor issues for us that came off the back of the initial investigation.

Phoned DKG Pest Control Ltd this morning to seek assistance with Wasp Nest discovered below flat roof. Dean came out promptly and treated the Nest which was in an awkward position.The work was carried out in an efficient and professional manner.I would have no hesitation in recommending Dean from DKG Pest Control.

DKG put mesh around my solar panels in Spring this year. They were very polite, hard working and the mesh was agood quality. Within a few weeks all pigeons were gone and now, 5 months or so later, the mesh looks as good as ever. Would definitely recommend this company based on my experience.

Looked at about 20 solar panel pigeon netting firms for quotes. Some big and small and local. I have no connection with DKG but they were local and very competitive DKG came exactly on time. Laura did a great job. No mess, tea breaks finish within 2 hrs. Quote and invoice matched and was very very competitive. Cannot fault them great work.

I don’t like to leave negative reviews but unfortunately did not have a good experience with this company. The lady was very helpful on the phone and got me booked in for solar proofing for a couple of weeks time. There was no communication after booking in. On the day, it got to around 9am and I’d heard nothing so called up to check they were still coming. The lady on the phone said she would check, then I received a text message to say their colleague had phoned the wrong customer and they weren’t coming due to weather. I understand it is weather dependant but wouldn’t you realise it was the wrong customer when you called? Not sure if this was the truth… anyway, managed to reschedule for 2 days after. When they arrived there was no apology for the mix up previously which I thought was quite rude and they were just generally quite cold, not very friendly. Anyway, it ended up being too high for them so they never completed the job despite me saying it was a 3 storey house. They said they would follow up with scaffold quotes… which never came. Unfortunately cannot recommend this company. Not sure if I just caught them on a bad week… but it’s such a shame I had a bad experience despite good reviews online.

Had a problem with a nasty little Rat, thought he’d move in and keep warm. I tried with traps and poison but had no luck. Gave DKG a call, they understood the problem straight away, came round promptly and decided on a plan to oust the little sod. After first visit I was assured he’d solve the problem and within a few days I didn’t hear any more scratching and scraping, with 3 visits in total, No more Rat! I booked a job to clear a wasp nest with a morning window of 8-12. After waiting around all morning, just before 12 I receive an email from Laura (no call or text) to say Dean was unable to find my house, which is not a problem for anyone else, and could I send further instructions. I wrote back within minutes with instructions and a map - no response. I waited a further 2 hours and sent another email asking if anyone was going to turn up. No response and no response at all to date. I wasted the whole day waiting. I’ve found someone else now who is much cheaper so I wouldn’t bother with these people. Time wasters and obviously don’t care about their customers or reputation.

Say they will call you back and don’t. Very disappointing

Dean came to fit bird protection mesh around our solar panels. He was punctual and friendly. He worked quickly and efficiently and his workmanship was of a high standard. He has done a super job on ensuring pigeons cannot nest under our solar panels.

Dean was able to come the day after I phoned. I thought it was wasps - but Dean confirmed as soon as he saw them it was Hornets which were going in between roof tiles and into the soffit. He sprayed the entrances with powder which created a lot of activity and they had all gone within an hour - Dean explained all this and gave good advice. Brilliant service and so good that he has someone to immediately answer the phone - so thanks to Laura too. Really pleased with the service and thoroughly recommend DKG.

we had a problem with pigeons nesting underneath our solar panels and the mess they made in the garden and with a 6yr old playing in the garden, action had to be taken. I was recommended DKG, who when contacted where very responsive and friendly. The turnaround time was impressive. They cleared the nests out and installed a mesh grill around all the panels. Excellent quality, professional and friendly service all at a good price. All questions i asked were answered, and the job was done on time and efficiently. Would recommend them to anyone.

I have to say that this is about my roof work, and I have been suffering from the onslaught of pigeons crapping on the panels and trying to nest under them. The noise coming through the roof from them was annoying as well. Dean (DKG), came to fix my Solar Panels and pigeon proof them, to prevent any damage and reduce the filth. l have to say how delighted I was with his work. First class materials used, including stainless steel ties (not nylon ties which degrade), and Dean carefully checked for nests or any chicks before the installation sealed all the exterior sides. We had a real problem which the first pest controller we called failed to spot despite two visits to the property, drilling holes in ceilings and walls in which to place small quantities of bait, which it turned out was completely unnecessary and totally ineffective ( as it turned out the problem emanated from the drains , a suggestion which he discounted). and then failing to get back to us when informed the problem had got even worse. Dean from DKG came in and spotted the problem and its source Immediately. Such a relief as we were at our wits end. Took several visits to completely eradicate but Dean went above and beyond, inspecting the drains both physically and with a specialist camera and, when the pests had been eliminated , effecting the necessary repair to prevent further access. He was extremely knowledgeable as well as very reassuring and if ever we have a similar problem ( but hopefully we won’t!!) we would not use anyone else. Also Dean had all the relevant pest control qualifications and his charges were very reasonable given the time and effort he put in and the unpleasant nature of the work. If we could give him more than 5 stars we would . Thank you Dean. Definitely 5 star +++++ Would advise anyone using a pest controller to first check they have the necessary professional qualifications. It had not occurred to us to do so. We now know better!

Dean and his father came out at very short notice (6 hours) to pigeon proof our new Solar installation. This was important as Feral Pigeons have infested three other roofs in our close. Decent quotation, rapid response and excellent workmanship combined with years of expertise and use of the right materials. Great Job.

Called in DKG to help with pigeons sitting on the roof and roosting under our solar panels. They responded very quickly, came around the next day to quote and did the job the day after. The meshing is high quality and was installed very neatly and secured without drilling into the panels. All round excellent service and after one week the pigeons are totally gone.

Initial call out for a “bee nest”. Rapid response to call and great and flexible reaction to the “second biggest bee nest” the company had seen. Large bee colony humanely and carefully removed. Scaffolding calmly subcontracted for debris removal and further visits all timely and efficacious. I cannot recommend too highly, and Dean, Laura and Robin are also lovely folk to deal with.

We had Dean over this morning having contacted them only a couple of days ago to look at a couple of large wasps nests in our attic and check out the space for any other critters. I can not recommend this company highly enough. My elderly parents have moved from Yorkshire into a bungalow locally only to find that there were rats in the loft. This was clearly a problem known about by the previous owners as attempts to clear them were discovered by DKG. Once we discovered the problem we contacted DKG and Dean came out that evening to investigate and start dealing with the problem. I now understand that many well known Pest control companies just put poisons down to kill off the current infestation but unless the route the rats are getting into the property is found and closed off they will return again after a few weeks. Dean got rid of the rats, identified the part of the drain that was allowing them entry, blocked of that off, put in rat valves in the drains, checked the perimeter of the property for any other signs of entry, cleared out all the loft insulation and replaced it, disinfected, deodorised the property. If that wasn’t enough Dean and his team were considerate and understanding during the entire process. This is a rare example of a company that takes pride in doing a great job and goes above and beyond to make sure the problem is solved for good. On top of that they are good value too - I would award 10 stars if I could!!

Can't recommend Dean highly enough. Unfortunately we regularly saw rats in our garden and after trying unsuccessfully to stop the problem ourselves, we finally contacted DKG. Wish we had done so sooner. He was really thorough and quickly traced the issue to our neighbour's property. He then came up with a comprehensive plan of action to remedy the situation. Unfortunately neighbours started feeding a group of local foxes which encouraged them to change their natural habit of nocturnal hunting. The result was them scavenging in our garden throughout the day and when trying to scare them away they only ran when I got close. Having young children who often play in the garden I had no choice but to call in a recommended pest controller. I was initially worried about the impact on neighbour relations and how the children would feel as understandably they wouldn't appreciate the issue. I spoke to Dean who requested I left my side gate open, he came that evening just as it got dark, sending me a text message once he had left with detailed 'next step' instructions. Two hours later once the kids were in bed I went out to check on things (as instructed)... Fox in the trap. I text Dean and once again he asked me to leave the gate open. An hour later I had a text to let me know it was all sorted – I didn't know he had been. My issue was sorted in a matter of hours with minimal disruption. Obviously not a nice thing to have to do but handled swiftly with professionalism and up-most respect for everyone involved. Would not hesitate to use in the future

Second time have used DKG but for different problems. Both times they have provided an excellent prompt service from telephone to follow up. I cannot rate this company highly enough. Dean is extremely professional and competent. The telephone staff are always professional and polite. I definitely recommend this company and will certainly be using them again if I have any future problems.

After 7 years and a lot of money spent on drain specialists and pest controls my neighbor and I were ready to sell up as no one would be able to find where our rats were coming from- honestly 7 years of living in hell every night rats and lots of them having a ball in our lofts then we bate them then they die we have million of flys then the dreaded smell for 3 weeks- it got to the stage where I was stuck in my home as I didn’t want to invite anyone round and not one person in our area could help but only took our money and talked rubbish to us.. my neighbor stumbled across Deans website and this was our last resort before moving house! He came down and he found within the first hour he found 3 rat runs- he has now closed all the runs off and so far no noise! He is the first person and I mean we have had lots of people out that actually cared about us and not just the pound sign.. what a lovely friendly man and I’m just cross with didn’t find him sooner. Can’t recommend enough!! Thank you sooo much for saving us from our living hell

DKG responded to our call about a live pest control problem and did an excellent job of fixing the problem. Dean was quick, efficient and effective, and the cost was very reasonable.

Dean identified the source of our issue, rather than just baiting for the sake of it. Very prompt and professional service. Can't recommend highly enough. We've had rodent problems on and off for some time, but this is the first time we've really looked at how to tackle it long term.

Another fast response and quality service from DKG Pest Control today, 7th August 2018. A wasp nest eradicated this time. Before, in 2013 and 2017, ant nests below the floors in the house successfully treated and no recurrence. We thoroughly endorse DKG for pest control of all types.

I can not recommend DKG highly enough. Our aunt and uncle are an elderly couple who love their garden, and after months of being terrorized by foxes, they were getting very distressed. We called DKG and they came around quickly, were courteous and patient, setting a trap immediately. Within two hours the first fox was trapped. We called DKG and they responded quickly to remove the fox and reset the trap. Five hour later fox 2 was trapped and removed. They are professional and polite.
