Pestforce Pest Control Reading

After moving into our newly purchased house, we discovered rat droppings in the loft. We first contacted a large pest control company and paid £150, but apart from receiving an inspection report, there was no follow-up action at all. Calling customer service was no help either. We then found Pestforce, and the experience was completely different. Louise was friendly, helpful, and very efficient in arranging appointments. Tim visited our property three times, and on every visit he carried out thorough inspections and treatments, carefully explained the possible causes, and recommended the most suitable and cost-effective solutions, also shared a detailed inspection report following each visit. He was patient, professional, and genuinely cared about solving the problem properly. If anyone is looking for a reliable pest control service, I would highly recommend Pestforce. Thank you, Tim and Louise, for your excellent service!

When my husband developed a rash after being bitten by an unknown insect, we wondered if we had an infestation. Tim came and checked the house and left lures to catch any creepy-crawlies. A week later, he came back to assess the traps, concluding that we did not have any bed bugs or other infestation. This reassured us and helped the doctor rule out certain explanations. Tim was very thorough and confidence inspiring, based on years of experience. He is also kind and friendly. Highly recommended.

Responsive and excellent service - will use again

I’m not one to call out pest control but the infestation had gotten bad in our neighbours surrounding area and the rats were using our garden as a pathway. They were coming out at dawn and one become at least 3-4 Tim came and laid down the poison and came back to check 3 times, visited the neighbours to double check and within a few weeks the issues was solved. The service provided was impeccable and even an extra visit to check they had cleared the problem. Truly grateful for the service and removing the rats so efficiently. In addition we have a dog so Tim ensured there was no access for the dog to the poison. Finally we can sit outside without being disturbed

Brilliant service! Tim was great—explained everything clearly, came back as promised, offered recommendations for future proofing and got everything sorted. I’d definitely recommend.

Great service, sorted out our mouse issue. Tim even happily coped with our people obsessed Goldie !

Excellent service, mum said Tim was lovely, polite and explained exactly what he was going to be doing.

Tim done great job to get rid of the rat problem in my loft not only in my property but looking at all of my neighbours houses to see where they were getting in. Tim is very nice, knowledgeable and helpful and I would highly recommend him.

Tim was very thorough and the service was excellent. I was tempted to choose one of the large firms but went instead with Tim as he was local, and very glad I did. And he's a throughly nice chap too.

Excellent company to deal with. Expert knowledge, responsive and persistent follow up to ensure eradication of a major vermin infestation. Claire and Andrew are great communicators, hard working and clearly know their business.

We have been using Pestforce for several years and have found them an excellent company. They know their job and are always available for emergency's. They are also friendly which makes them easy to work with.

We were very impressed with Tim from Pestforce, he came to look at a problem we had in our loft. A very nice guy who diagnosed the problem and gave us some great advice. Five stars from us!

Amazing service from Tim and his colleagues. Long standing problem with rats accessing the fabric of our building following an extension build. Tim was able to identify the problem through a thorough survey of our drains (much more thorough than a previous survey which failed to identify the issue). Tim sealed off the access point by putting a sleeve in the pipe. Aftercare was great too as post fix visits were carried out to ensure the problem was in fact resolved. Great, friendly and professional service. Very glad we found Pestforce and very grateful to finally be rid of our unwelcome visitors. Can't recommend highly enough.

Tim has assisted us on two occasions. On each visit he was prompt and thorough and sorted the problem. I would highly recommend him. His prices are reasonable and he has a very professional approach.

I was kept informed throughout the process, no hidden extras, just plain and simple and some great advice going forward. I would recommend this business if you have issues with pests in your home.

I contacted Pest Force, Reading after a recommendation. We had a persistent rodent problem in the walls between our home and our neighbours. We had used a local Pest Force team previously and while they dealt quickly with the immediate issue the root cause (entry point) could not be identified and the advice was that, if the problem persisted, to have a drain survey completed. Pest Force, Reading have this technology and experience and promptly arrived to assist us. Firstly, they carried out an extensive survey of both properties, dealt with the immediate issue, identified possible problem areas and arranged a full drain survey. An issue in my neighbours drain was identified as a possible cause and they fixed this. This is a horrible problem to have in your home and I can highly recommend the Pest Force team. Tim, Claire and Adam were efficient, professional, understanding and thoroughly nice people.

Tim has been a reliable long-term partner in our business, resolving issues with rodents and bed bugs. He is persistent, thorough and delivers results. We’ve had an excellent experience working with Tim and Clare and we appreciate their dedication and professionalism.

What a fantastic service. Friendly, knowledgable, helpful and incredibly efficient. I can not recommend them more highly. Thank you for all of your help and incredible service. Gary

Have used their services twice now and both times they have resolved the issue. Expansive knowledge, follow up to see how things are doing and go above and beyond to make sure your home is pest free!

Pestforce Reading are always reliable, helpful and good value for the service they provide. I’ve used them with mice infestation and they sorted the problem very quickly. Highly recommend them.

Tim was absolutely fantastic, arrived shortly after I put the call in and was incredibly thorough!! Also returned for a follow up visit and even checked the neighbours I cannot recommend highly enough, outstanding!!

We have been working with Pestforce now for over 5 years at Bracknell Town council. Tim and Claire are always very patient, polite and helpful to meet our demands. They have been reliable and carry out a good range of pest control jobs that are always to a high standard. Look no further for your pest control needs no job to large or small for them i cant recommend them enough.

I thought I’d posted this review at the time but it doesn’t appear to have gone. Anyway better late than never ! I rang them in the morning and they were able to attend that afternoon. Very friendly and efficient service in dealing with the wasps which had taken up residence in our porch roof area. Also explained that if we still saw any activity after a couple of days they would come and apply a second treatment for no additional charge. Very good value.

I cannot recommend Tim and pestforce highly enough, I just wish I'd contacted them sooner rather than use the cheaper pest controller that I initially did (for a rat issue), it would have saved time, stress and additional cost! Tim has the experience, personality and tools to resolve - readily and easily engaging with neighbours; and by owning his own drain inspection equipment (which is really expensive so not many pest controllers have) it means you don't need to engage a 3rd party for a drains check - which is pricey, and extermely difficult to arrange if you need the neighbours drains inspected too. They are very professional, honest and upfront and keep to their commitments. My issue which had been with the previous pest controller for months was sorted in weeks by pestforce. Pestforce is a local independent business that I trust and I do not hesitate in recommending them - they would be my first port of call if any other problems arose. Thank you Tim and Clare

Tim and his team did a thorough and expert job ridding us of the unwanted guests in our loft. Tim is very knowledgeable and he and his team are polite, helpful, friendly and tidy. They explain what they are doing very clearly and were happy to answer all my daft questions. Tim's strategy is to get to the cause of the problem, to find out where the entrance points are and block them - it's like a military operation! He also involved the other homes in our terrace - so a really comprehensive job. So pleased we came across them accidentally whilst visiting friends who needed their services. Two years later, we had the same issue and knew who to call! Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant service — quick, friendly, and really knew what they were doing. Tim and Claire are amazing!

Would have no hesitation in recommending Tim and his team. Tim provided excellent service and advice to us and adjoining neighbours. Nothing was too much trouble and completely professional - our neighbours too were very impressed. No hesitation either in providing 5 stars!

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Tim and his team have been professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Having a pest issue is not the most pleasant but they were very reassuring and indeed fixed the issue. Tim went over and above by giving our neighbour unsolicited advice and assistance in controlling pests in their property. He was also very easy to communicate with, if he could not answer your call he would ring back soon after. We can’t thank Tim enough and would highly recommend his services. It’s 5 stars from us.

RATS Having previously used other contractors who “merely” left traps and bait, neither effective nor a long term solution. I approached Pest Force to attend. Coincidentally & conveniently a bird had become trapped in our chimney shortly before Tims’ first visit. So before starting on rat eradication investigations he removed the very lucky to be rescued bird. Tim as previous contractors baited the loft but also left fluorescing powder to track activity. This was only the beginnings of Tim work who then examined our property for potential access ways. Surveyed the drains and suggested similar work was required on the adjoining rented semi-detached property. Tim followed up with the landlord and through our combined persistence arranged to carry out a drain survey and follow up repair on their property. Pleased to say our rat infestation seems a thing of the past, recent cold and wet weather usually an omen of problems, has seen no evidence. Other companies may offer a very visual yet ineffective solution. Tim & his team, at Pest Force got to the root cause of our problem. Many Thanks Tim

Very prompt response and extremely quick and efficient removal of nest. This is the second time we’ve used Pestforce and will always go back to them. Very friendly and reassuring too. Highly recommend.

Once again Tim at Pest Force to the rescue! This time for a very active wasp hive in a cramped place in the attic. Thanks again Tim - you’re always on speed dial for any pest problems 😁

Amazing service thank you so much to Clare who explained everything that was going to happen, returned as arranged and most importantly sorted everything out! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you

A fantastic service and worth every penny. The employees of the company were so respectful and reassured me with everything. They came back a few times and checked to make sure the rats were gone. My dogs loved your employees. Thank you.

Tim answered my call promptly and visited the job and got rid of the wasp problem, all done in a couple of days. Will use the firm again

Good communication from Tim minimal hassle and a sound report emailed at the end. Would use again.

Tim was very helpful and provided a quick response. They came and treated the wasp nest the same day as I raised the query. They were quick and efficient and provided me with all the information I needed.

I am so thankful to have discovered Pestforce Reading. Having used two other local companies, it was a relief to find Pestforce who really wanted to solve the issue and not just lay traps or poison. Tim and Claire worked relentlessly to help solve the issue of rats coming into my loft space. Being a terraced house complicated things as rats found their way between our row of houses and Tim worked with me and my neighbours to find the point of entry, conducting thorough surveys. He refused to give up, having established there was no ingress point at my property. Pestforce don't just leave poison and rid you of rats temporarily but get to the root of the issue and solve it , aiming to leave your property without entry points such they did by closing hidden entry points being used by rats at one of the houses. Tim and Claire always came when scheduled and responded to calls quickly. They take care to keep your property clean, cause minimum disruption, give excellent reports after each visit and follow up with you. If you have a rat issue that you're struggling to resolve, then I'd strongly recommend Pestforce Reading.

Highly recommended. Fast service, wasp nest was sorted within 48 hours of first contact.

Tim dealt with a hornets nest. What a joy to find someone who turns up when they say, is polite, efficient and explains what they are doing.

Please can say a huge thank you to Tim for his help with a recent bedbug infestation at my girlfriend’s flat. From the minute I asked for his assistance, he has been so generous with his time and proactive at getting the problem resolved properly. It’s only now from living with bedbugs do I understand the stress and disruption it can cause and how grateful I am to have someone I can rely on to help me out. The flat is now one month bedbug free and without your professional advice and routine treatments I dread to think where we would be. Thank you Tim, diamond bloke!

Just amazing...they are such lovely people and such a good service too 👌...thoroughly recommend..i wont miss the rats but I'll miss these guys!

I would highly recommend Tim. We have used him for a wasp problem in our loft and to get rid of a nuisance rat. Tim is professional and managed to get both issues sorted pretty quickly in a really professional manor. Great service and a fair pricing point. Thanks Tim!

Tim from Pestforce was highly professional and provided an excellent service. He remained in communication with me at all times and there were no delays which meant our pest problem was dealt with quickly.

Tim came to our property & has been nothing but professional & let us know the problems we had. He has completed this over a fair few visits. Even at very short notice he put himself out to come over & help us. So I just want to say a huge thank you to Tim & his team. I would recommend Tim at Pestforce 100% & not use anyone else. Thank you very much & any problems in the future we will be in contact 👍

Great service, Tim and his team are efficient, polite and affective. Highly recommend this service to help with any pest issues.

Tim was friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and efficient. Thank you Tim.

Tim did an excellent job. He is conscientious and a pleasure to deal with. After locating the source of the problem (including using a camera in the drains) he made sure it was properly dealt with, including preventative work.

Claire was fantastic. Efficient and professional. I was understandably worried about rats in our attic and Claire was brilliant at reassuring us that the problem could be resolved quickly. She baited and on the second visit no sign of visitors. We are more than happy with Claire’s service and would recommend her to anyone with rodent issues.

Claire has been to us a couple of times, once for mole and another for a wasps nest and has always been fantastic. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Claire was on time, polite, took time and effort to explain what she was doing and why. She was also good humoured and really nice

Claire from Pestforce Pest Control came to investigate noises coming from our attic. She explained exactly what she was going to do and was very professional and friendly. I would not hesitate in referring her to anyone in a similar situation.

We reported a scuttling sound from out attic and Claire came out the same day. She quickly identified we had a mouse problem and helped us deal with it, as well as provide advice to try and prevent future infestation. I would recommend their service.

Claire was fantastic!! So pleased with the whole experience with this company ! Very professional and always on time! Thank you so much

Claire was very knowledgeable, polite and friendly making a rat problem easier to endure. All sorted in the time scale given.

Claire did a great job, by the third visit the rats had disappeared. They had been in the loft in numbers and had then come down into the kitchen. Claire is very professional and friendly. She gave us clear advice on the problem. The photographs she sent us after the first visit allowed us to subsequently close the entry points. I have no hesitation in recommending PestForce.

Such an excellent professional service! Thank you Claire for eliminating my rodent problem and for your expert advice on how to prevent them returning!

Pestforce was very quick to come over to my property and this lady Claire was extremely helpful and explained the whole procedure, hopefully would not need their services again, but if I would they would be the company to trust.

Although we were a new customer, Tim came round to see us the same morning we sent him a text. He clearly knew everything about rodents and was able to identify what was in the house and where it was coming in. Plenty of good advice on what to do and not to do while waiting for a result. All that was needed after that was a second visit to remove the bait trays. A definite recommendation.

Claire sorted out wasp 🐝 nest in my lounge with a little help from the long arm of the law!

Really nice guy. Very professional and explained everything he was going to do before he put it into action. 👍🏻

Our neighbour and us suffered an infestation of rats in our loft space and kitchen. It took a while to eradicate - but thanks to the perseverance of Claire who was very professional and determined - the problem was solved. I would recommend this service of Pestforce instead of a national pest control provider who quoted 4 times the amount that Pestforce charge.

Claire was brilliant at dealing with our wasp problem in the roof. We needed it dealt with quickly so our decorators could finish painting and she came the same evening. Check a trade and Google reviews are certainly justified.

Claire was really friendly and informative when she came round to deal with a rat issue that we had in our garden. She explained the rat behavior and how the bait she used would work. Claire was incredible professional and was really flexible with her visits, as we were on holiday for part of the treatment period. After the three visits we are rat free. Thanks Claire, excellent service. I cannot recommend you highly enough.

Claire was super informative when she came round to deal with a rat issue that we had in the garden. She explained rat behaviour and how the bait she used would work (we have a cat and several cats in the neighbourhood so I was a tad nervous) but Claire reassured me that cats and other animals would be ok if by any chance the found a dead rat and ate it. After the three visits we are rat free. Thanks Claire, excellent service

After speaking to Tim (owner) for a short while I was very impressed with him and I was sure that his company would solve our rodent problem. Within 24hours his assistant Clare Skates visited my property and proceeded to lay various traps. Claire visited on two more occasions in the following month. She was always very punctual and explained the process. Pestforce Reading were very successful in getting rid of our pests. I would definately recommend this Company.

Tim and Claire are a fantastic team and were swift, attentive and professional in dealing with our rat problem. Tim went above and beyond the call of duty and Claire worked closely with Tim to sort our problem out. We can’t recommend them highly enough. Besides that they’re incredibly approachable - almost worth having the problem to meet two such great human beings!

Rectified my problem within an hour of contacting him. Very efficient and friendly.

Always quick to respond to phonecalls/texts. Helpful and knowledgeable.

Tim from Pestforce is fantastic, so professional and always on hand to help in any way he can. His customer service skills are brilliant always arriving on time and completing the jobs resolving the issues that have been reported. Would definitely recommend anyone to use his services.

As ever, a friendly and efficient service. Tim is is always very thorough in his work and takes time to explain what may have caused the issue and what needs to be done.

Tim from Pestforce is just brilliant! We have used him a few times for pesky rodents and wasps - he is professional, 100% reliable, knows his stuff, reasonably priced and is extremely trustworthy. I wouldn’t use anyone else now and can highly recommend!

Tim is always so helpful and knowledgeable, He came out within the hour when we had an issue and now we have an ongoing contract with him. Great guy and amazing service.

Tim saved the day by coming and sorting the wasps nest. Super fast and effective. Lovely guy.

Good company & reliable, always gives advice on the needed.

Very professional service. Tim was very knowledgeable and responsive. I would definitely recommend.

Amazingly quick and efficient service. I had tried for months to get rid of a mole problem in my garden. Tim managed to catch the mole within 2 hours of his first visit. And such a nice guy!

I have found Tim James to be polite, punctual and friendly. He comes highly recommended and we have had great customer feedback for his services

I have had a rat problem in my garden since the beginning of the year, and have had two companies try and fail to stop them prior to getting Pestforce involved. Tim was professional, quick to respond to issues, and seems to have finally stopped the rats. Could not rate him more highly!

Tim came the day following my request. He came when he said he would. He was personable, and efficient. It was a fixed fee, which would have required him to return if the original treatment did not work. My issue with the wasps nest has been solved. I wouldn't hesitate to use his service again.

Tim arrived exactly when he said he would, he is professional and polite and knows his stuff. He treated the pest infestation and went above and beyond to make sure it was done thoroughly. I would highly recommend his services.

We recently used Tim James Bird from Pestforce for a rat problem we had in my Mum's garden. He was brilliant, within 15 minutes of submitting our online request for a quote Tim was in touch and we had the initial visit booked immediately. This speedy assistance was great as the problem was impacting my elderly Mum who was afraid to leave her door open into the garden with the fear of the rats coming into the house. Tim made 3 planned visits to treat the issue and we are happy to say the problem has been fixed. Thank you!

I needed a pest control person for the wasp nest right next to my kitchen. I found Jim Bird. He responded to me on Saturday afternoon and was round at my house pretty soonish. Not only was he engaging, polite and professional, but he was clearly knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. The job was completed within minutes. Jim has been added to my contact list for future pest control issues and I would have no hesitation sharing his details with friends and neighbours! Keep up the great work Jim and see you again whenever.

Tim came out the next day to deal with 6 wasps nests, some of them very high up and awkward to reach. He is polite, friendly and professional - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
