I’m not one to call out pest control but the infestation had gotten bad in our neighbours surrounding area and the rats were using our garden as a pathway. They were coming out at dawn and one become at least 3-4 Tim came and laid down the poison and came back to check 3 times, visited the neighbours to double check and within a few weeks the issues was solved. The service provided was impeccable and even an extra visit to check they had cleared the problem. Truly grateful for the service and removing the rats so efficiently. In addition we have a dog so Tim ensured there was no access for the dog to the poison. Finally we can sit outside without being disturbed

Amazing service from Tim and his colleagues. Long standing problem with rats accessing the fabric of our building following an extension build. Tim was able to identify the problem through a thorough survey of our drains (much more thorough than a previous survey which failed to identify the issue). Tim sealed off the access point by putting a sleeve in the pipe. Aftercare was great too as post fix visits were carried out to ensure the problem was in fact resolved. Great, friendly and professional service. Very glad we found Pestforce and very grateful to finally be rid of our unwelcome visitors. Can't recommend highly enough.

I contacted Pest Force, Reading after a recommendation. We had a persistent rodent problem in the walls between our home and our neighbours. We had used a local Pest Force team previously and while they dealt quickly with the immediate issue the root cause (entry point) could not be identified and the advice was that, if the problem persisted, to have a drain survey completed. Pest Force, Reading have this technology and experience and promptly arrived to assist us. Firstly, they carried out an extensive survey of both properties, dealt with the immediate issue, identified possible problem areas and arranged a full drain survey. An issue in my neighbours drain was identified as a possible cause and they fixed this. This is a horrible problem to have in your home and I can highly recommend the Pest Force team. Tim, Claire and Adam were efficient, professional, understanding and thoroughly nice people.

I thought I’d posted this review at the time but it doesn’t appear to have gone. Anyway better late than never ! I rang them in the morning and they were able to attend that afternoon. Very friendly and efficient service in dealing with the wasps which had taken up residence in our porch roof area. Also explained that if we still saw any activity after a couple of days they would come and apply a second treatment for no additional charge. Very good value.

I cannot recommend Tim and pestforce highly enough, I just wish I'd contacted them sooner rather than use the cheaper pest controller that I initially did (for a rat issue), it would have saved time, stress and additional cost! Tim has the experience, personality and tools to resolve - readily and easily engaging with neighbours; and by owning his own drain inspection equipment (which is really expensive so not many pest controllers have) it means you don't need to engage a 3rd party for a drains check - which is pricey, and extermely difficult to arrange if you need the neighbours drains inspected too. They are very professional, honest and upfront and keep to their commitments. My issue which had been with the previous pest controller for months was sorted in weeks by pestforce. Pestforce is a local independent business that I trust and I do not hesitate in recommending them - they would be my first port of call if any other problems arose. Thank you Tim and Clare

Tim and his team did a thorough and expert job ridding us of the unwanted guests in our loft. Tim is very knowledgeable and he and his team are polite, helpful, friendly and tidy. They explain what they are doing very clearly and were happy to answer all my daft questions. Tim's strategy is to get to the cause of the problem, to find out where the entrance points are and block them - it's like a military operation! He also involved the other homes in our terrace - so a really comprehensive job. So pleased we came across them accidentally whilst visiting friends who needed their services. Two years later, we had the same issue and knew who to call! Would definitely recommend.

RATS Having previously used other contractors who “merely” left traps and bait, neither effective nor a long term solution. I approached Pest Force to attend. Coincidentally & conveniently a bird had become trapped in our chimney shortly before Tims’ first visit. So before starting on rat eradication investigations he removed the very lucky to be rescued bird. Tim as previous contractors baited the loft but also left fluorescing powder to track activity. This was only the beginnings of Tim work who then examined our property for potential access ways. Surveyed the drains and suggested similar work was required on the adjoining rented semi-detached property. Tim followed up with the landlord and through our combined persistence arranged to carry out a drain survey and follow up repair on their property. Pleased to say our rat infestation seems a thing of the past, recent cold and wet weather usually an omen of problems, has seen no evidence. Other companies may offer a very visual yet ineffective solution. Tim & his team, at Pest Force got to the root cause of our problem. Many Thanks Tim

I am so thankful to have discovered Pestforce Reading. Having used two other local companies, it was a relief to find Pestforce who really wanted to solve the issue and not just lay traps or poison. Tim did an excellent job. He is conscientious and a pleasure to deal with. After locating the source of the problem (including using a camera in the drains) he made sure it was properly dealt with, including preventative work.

Claire was fantastic. Efficient and professional. I was understandably worried about rats in our attic and Claire was brilliant at reassuring us that the problem could be resolved quickly. Pestforce was very quick to come over to my property and this lady Claire was extremely helpful and explained the whole procedure, hopefully would not need their services again, but if I would they would be the company to trust.

Although we were a new customer, Tim came round to see us the same morning we sent him a text. He clearly knew everything about rodents and was able to identify what was in the house and where it was coming in. Plenty of good advice on what to do and not to do while waiting for a result. All that was needed after that was a second visit to remove the bait trays. A definite recommendation.

Our neighbour and us suffered an infestation of rats in our loft space and kitchen. It took a while to eradicate - but thanks to the perseverance of Claire who was very professional and determined - the problem was solved. I would recommend this service of Pestforce instead of a national pest control provider who quoted 4 times the amount that Pestforce charge.

Claire was brilliant at dealing with our wasp problem in the roof. We needed it dealt with quickly so our decorators could finish painting and she came the same evening. Check a trade and Google reviews are certainly justified.

Claire was super informative when she came round to deal with a rat issue that we had in the garden. She explained rat behaviour and how the bait she used would work (we have a cat and several cats in the neighbourhood so I was a tad nervous) but Claire reassured me that cats and other animals would be ok if by any chance the found a dead rat and ate it. After speaking to Tim (owner) for a short while I was very impressed with him and I was sure that his company would solve our rodent problem. Within 24hours his assistant Clare Skates visited my property and proceeded to lay various traps. Claire visited on two more occasions in the following month. Tim came out the next day to deal with 6 wasps nests, some of them very high up and awkward to reach. He is polite, friendly and professional - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
