I have just had such a helpful conversation with Peter. We have some rats in our garden, and would rather not have them, but are reluctant to put down poison. He gave me some really practical advice - to remove bird feeders and water sources, and to hope that they then move on. It is so refreshing to hear this approach, rather than the approach of so many other companies, which is to put down poison and not consider the impact that this has on any other creature that may eat the poison, or the poisoned rat. Thank you Peter :)

Had problems with bees in two places, and they ended up getting into the kitchen and living room. Spoke to Pete who heard i was panking and he found time to come out same day to check. Fortunately for us they are bumble bees. He checked underneath kitchen cupboards and outside to put my mind at rest as to where they were and gave advice. Also explained difference between bees. Fascinating to see some of the jobs he's done to help remove bees from places. Thank you so much Pete for coming out. I can stop panicking so much. Will definitely recommend you.

Really impressed. Pete came to check out some bees we have nesting. He was able to confirm they were tree bees, instead of honey bees, and that we could leave them alone. We were grateful for his openness and honesty, both for the bees’ sake and to save us spending money unnecessarily. He also took time to tell us about different species of bee, to use a thermal camera to show where in our kitchen ceiling they are, and to share some of his photos of honey bee jobs, which were fascinating. We obviously hope not to need his services in the future, but we’ll definitely use him if we have a pest problem and I recommend him to other people too.

Called pride pest regarding a bees nest in a tree in front garden. A guy called Pete came out and said there were about 45000 bees in the nest. He explained it may be that the queen has left a hive and the bees were protecting her as she rested. He said leave it 24hrs as they may move on when the queen has rested. Sure enough next day they left. Great service great guy really knew his stuff. Highly recommended..

Very professional and helpful. Our daughter had bees nesting in her brick work. Pete came out to do a survey and adviced on the possible options, arranged a day to remove the bees and rehome them. Pete and Gary removed them with minimum disruption, repairing the brick work, ensuring our daughter had no further issues. I would highly recommend Pride Pest Control.

Had call out from a lovely man named Pete i had been worried for days (wait wasn’t his fault ) he to come out sooner to me because my letting agent didn’t let him know for days he pulled everything out shown me everything explained and answered any questions I had. Honestly amazing!!! I wish I could score higher. Last year I first had Pete come out as i had a mouse coming into my flat and i was completely freaked out. Alongside the support of traps and trying to resolve the issue, I got constant reassurance and they went above and beyond to make me feel settled again as this was the first time in my life dealing with anything like that. Then this issue happened again a couple of months ago and because of the support and tips from the previous time. I felt well equipped and less panicked to sort my flat out while they resolved the issue. Once again Pete was so thorough with finding where they were coming in and then creating an action plan for my lettings agency to follow to ensure this would not happen again. Not only was the kitchen inspected (the problem area) the full flat was to ensure no stone was unturned and that I would not have this issue again. He went above an beyond and made a negative stressful experience into a positive one

Excellent service provided by Peter. Contacted the business and within 2 hours had two rat flaps installed in the Drains. Excellent advice also given on pest control. Peter and Gary removed and re-homed a large honey bee colony from our chimney. We would recommend them to anyone wanting pest removal as they gave us a very professional service. They did an extremely thorough job, with pictures taken throughout the work to show us the bees being removed and the work that needed to be done to repair the chimney and make it proof against future bees taking up residence. They also ensured that a second chimney, which was in similarly poor repair, was brought up to standard and sealed against any future honey bees or wasps taking up residence. Peter was also very helpful with advice and information, and in coordinating the scaffolding work that was required. They provided us with a really friendly, trustworthy and efficient service at a good price.

Phoned to ask for help with a bee swarm my tenant had reported. I can only assume from the reviews he was having a bad day as he was very short with me and refused to call the tenant directly and said I had to ask him to get in contact. Reluctantly, I gave his number to my tenant. He then told my tenant he couldn't understand him because of his bad English ( his English is very good) and said he should text him some photos. My tenant promptly did this and then received no further correspondence. There are lots of great reviews for this company so take this review with a pinch of salt but it is an honest appraisal of my experience. I went with a different company in the end who were remarkably quick and efficient and, unsurprisingly, could understand my tenant just fine on the phone.

Pride Pest Control were amazing for treating the wasps nest outside our back door. They managed to fit us in the same day we called which was brilliant. Pete was lovely, he explained the issue, treatment and things to be aware of afterwards. All in all, I can't recommend them enough ☺️

Absolutely brilliant service from Pete. His service was prompt and efficient. Obviously cares about the environment and very firm about not causing unnecessary suffering. He dealt with the squirrels that were causing damage in the loft and finally blocked the access point. I discovered this company through a random google search and would unreservedly recommend them for any pest control needs.

After hearing a buzzing noise in the bathroom, and then finding bees going in a join in the soffits outside, I rang Pete and he came out within a few hours. Peter and Gary removed a large bee colony from my house. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Very professional service, thorough job done, pictures taken throughout the removal to show the work done which was a nice touch. To gain access a large section of tile cladding had to be removed which was expertly put back after with some extra measures taken to prevent recurrence as far as possible. Super friendly, trustworthy and quick service!

I had my apartment cleared of carpet moths by Peter Andrews and despite substantial furniture to move Peter completed the process in 3 hours removing all moths. I was delighted by his professional and friendly approach and can highly recommend the company.

Cannot rate this business highly enough. We discovered a wasps nest and called at 11am. By 12.30 not only had Peter responded by phone, he had arrived and was on the job. (Obviously due to commitments not everyone will get such a rapid response) Possibly the nicest person ever, understanding of the problem, informative and offered follow up support and assistance (not that it'll be needed!) Cannot rate this business highly enough. Affordable, professional. Just brilliant.

Called Pride Pest Control about fitting a no return valve to prevent rats getting into the house from the drains. Pete was able to fit me in the same day and was friendly and knowledgeable about his trade, and explained what he was doing all throughout the job and exactly how it worked. All in all a job done well and at what I consider to be a fair and reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Called Pete due to being let down several times by Severn Trent, drainage and sewer issues were causing back up and rodent access. Pete came straight round, was very sympathetic to the issue and worked quickly and efficiently to find the blocked drains. Not only did he check my own property but also the neighbouring properties to ensure the issue was fixed.

Excellent service received from Pride Pest Control. Peter explained everything and came out the same day to deal with a wasps nest in the eaves above my bathroom window. Told us he would return in 3 days free of charge if we still had problems but it’s all sorted. Very pleased with the price and would highly recommend.

Called Pete as I came home to a wasp infestation in my drain cover at approximately 4.45. By 5.45 Pete had attended and treated the area along with advice for when to approach and what to do after. I would recommend 100%

Had a problem with an infestation of sewer flies during our kitchen extension, they responded within a couple of hours, very reasonable price for advice, could of done a treatment and charged me for something we didn’t need. Would recommend, very friendly, great service.

I recently engaged Pride Pest Control with regard to a starlings’ nest which had been built into the structure of the house with the subsequent problem of bird mites. They were very easy to contact; no ‘call centre’ or lengthy queues. I had originally called them earlier in the year and they were most professional (and educational!) in advising me about the nesting / fledging season of this protected species and we spoke about the correct time to carry out the work. I found them to be very professional in their recommendations and the price quoted was extremely reasonable, so I engaged them to carry out the work. They have now eradicated the bird mite problem with a chemical powder and sealed up the entry hole and surrounding area and I am confident the problem has been solved. Peter and his team were thorough and responsive, keeping me informed of what was happening at all times and I can only say it has been an excellent experience (the treatment that is, not the pests!). I thoroughly recommend Pride Pest Control to anyone seeking assistance – not only with birds but with other nuisances. Thank you for a job well done! Edit: This year I've had to engage them again with a squirrel nesting in the roof space - they're prompt attention saved me an electrical wire being chewed through and hopefully we've seen off the squirrel. Many thanks! Edit: I’d never use anyone other than Pride Pest now. Honestly, nothing is too much trouble for them, even when it means quite a bit of travelling. After dealing with pests, they noticed some other flaws with my property that could have led to trouble in the future and were prompt and efficient in offering advice and finding a solution and things are now fixed marvellously. I’ve noticed that they always go the extra mile and will try to help out as soon as ever possible and I have no hesitation in recommending Pride Pest.

My apartment was flea infested and the letting agency refused to give me a refund for the period that I wasn’t there and kept denying that there were fleas. Pride pest control helped me prove that there were in fact fleas on the property only 2 days after I called. They were super nice and gave me a flea spray for free and even called the letting agency to let them know. I was really hopeless about the situation but they really helped me, wouldn’t have hired anyone else, the best service available! Now I’ve received a refund and I couldn’t have done that without the report they made. They were also hired later on by the letting agency and they seem to have done a perfect job at eliminating the fleas. Unlike the previous company which claimed the treatment took 4 weeks (and never worked). Days after they treated the property it was confirmed clear.

I would use this company again. Very happy with the guy who came . Polite and professional. Good value for money.
