Independent Pest Control & Hygiene Services Ltd

Tony was Fantastic! Genuinely grateful for his efforts and skill today. Despite how unusual it was, he was polite, professional and patient. Huge thanks from us and our neighbours. First people I will call should I ever have a need again. 😀

I noticed wasp activity under the guttering above our front porch and knew we needed help to remove them. Fortunately my wife had spotted an IPC van in the next street during one of her walks. I filled the get a quote form online late on Tuesday evening. Wednesday morning I contacted the office to arrange the work to be carried out, was informed that I would be contacted by one of their mobile operatives. By late afternoon the job was done. I checked for wasp activity around 4hrs later - nothing, all gone. Very fast and efficient service. I would use IPC again should the need arise and will recommend to family and friends.

Great professional service fitting anti Pigeon netting, used a cherry picker rather than ladders, cleaned solar panels, checked ridge tiles, full inspection report with photos, allowed me to inspect myself from MEWP. Brilliant service would use again and the price was right!

Went out their way to sort out a wasp nest within a few hours, great team 👍

I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to my family or friends, they were excellent from start to finish. Louise whom I spoke with several times on the telephone was so helpful and explained everything, helping me to feel confident that the issue regarding my garden shed would be solved. She even phoned me back with a suggestion in order to help save me money, for which I was very grateful. The two technicians arrived exactly at the time I was told, they explained everything in detail and asked if I had any concerns. They could not have been more helpful, thank you so much Rob & Kevin, you did a fantastic job and I am so glad I decided to go with your company. A very very satisfied customer

Kev was brilliant, friendly and thorough with excellent knowledge and managed to get into difficult areas of our non-boarded loft and solve the issue. Sorted the issue within a couple of weeks trying a few different techniques. Highly reccomend.

Friendly team who did exactly what they said and in the time stated. Pleased with the completed job installing new bird netting to church tower. I would recommend this company who provided a very competitive quote.

After an ongoing rat problem for the last two winters, i reached out to IPC to help to find points of entry. The response was quick and a thorough survey of my property was done, highlighting areas and possible places of access. This was a great help and can now take steps to hopefully prevent another rat invasion. Thank you so much. RB October 2025

We had an issue and called this company for help they were professional from start to finish and Craig did a survey to alleviate our fears. I can’t recommend this company highly enough and would definitely use them again.

Came out same day, sorted the evil winged assassins in one go. Happy with back up guarantee that they would come out again if any survived.

Ian is my customer, I fix his vehicles and what ever he needs, I was illegally evicted by court and ended up homeless, I had to retreat to a dirty caravan where eventually I was ambushed by 4 people and robbed, I never told Ian and still did his work, I would get washed in freezing cold water so I can be clean and presentable the next day, one Sunday Ian asked where I was and I told him, he put me up in a hotel that very day he put me up in a hotel and gave me my dignity back, allowed me to have pride in myself and he didn’t want a penny back, he moved me the next day to a beautiful hotel called the Dolby on the waterfront in Liverpool, I was drowning and Ian rescued me, he has a 100% liked business because he and all his staff really care, it’s not a front they care for you🥰 Ian Furlong is a genuine caring person, I have the luxury of calling him a friend, no matter what, this company and all of Ian’s carefully chosen staff will be there for you too🙏 in this world there are few people like Ian and his fabulous staff, booking independent pest control you won’t go wrong 🙂

The team were so friendly and helpful with my mouse issue. Very thorough checks and kept me updated on the whole process. I have no doubt they’ll be able to sort the problem.

Really fast and friendly service. Very easy to deal with. Knew exactly what they were doing. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this company! Thankyou Ian so much! 😊🙏🏻

I cannot speak highly enough of the support we have had from Sean, Frank and the two Craigs at Independent Pest Control. On the first occasion the company were able to send Frank out late on a Friday when our toilet was infested with thousands of bees. Frank was courteous, professional and hugely effective in attending to the emergency, at a time when no other company responded to our calls. The two Craigs have dealt with a completely separate case over the last week, which has involved using a cherry picker to gain access to another nest in an otherwise inaccessible part of our building. Again they have been friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. It is a pleasure to recommend this company to other prospective customers.

Outstanding performances by all involved. Telephone conversation with John who immediately initiated the response and 40 minutes later Frank arrived, assessed the situation, suited up and exterminated the threat - wasps. Job done, no mess, no stings to Frank and a very happy ending. What a great job - outstanding.

Brilliant service. John the engineer phoned 30 minutes in advance. Did a fantastic clean job and explained in detail how the powder would kill the wasps. Would highly recommend this firm to anyone with a pest problem Richard

had two visits from Richy to take care of ants. What a gent, very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The results were great on the indoor and outdoor areas. I would recommend this company

Excellent prompt service, Craig S was very helpful and very efficient. Sorted problem out at very good price, would highly recommend. Many thanks.

We live in a terraced house so unfortunately if the neighbours have pest problems, it means eventually we do too. Had rats under the floorboards and have had John out a few times to help us out. He is so professional, patient and polite. Honestly he is a credit to the company. Such a nice lad. Thank you for always giving us a great and fast service.

I had dealings With Ian this morning who was available very early and was more than helpful - he really went out if his way. Would definitely recommend !

excellent service - removed three large wasp nests the same day I rang. would not hesitate to recommend

I called these guys when there was a mouse in my tenant's flat. They were excellent, very thorough and very practical. Their help sorted out the problem and avoided any further hassle. I totally recommend them!

Called Sean first thing on Monday morning and he had one of his team call me back to arrange dealing with wasp nest the same morning. Really helpful and great customer service at a very good price too. Would definitely recommend them.

IPC had been recommended to me by another satisfied customer. From my first contact with Louise in the office and the visit from Ian I was impressed with the friendly, professional service. They were both very helpful and eager to help. Ian rang me promptly as promised by Louise and he was punctual when he visited. He was respectful in my home and treated our problem efficiently and hope effectively. Would totally recommend.

Ian and his Partner were extremely helpful with an alleged incident of infestation at my late mothers property. They understood my situation and gave me the best resolution possible in a very professional and swift manner. I simply could not have asked for anymore. They were brilliant!

Had a very distraught partner upon seeing wasps nesting in 2 separate places on our house. A quick call later to Independent Pest Control and out came firstly Mark then John to save us. Very speedy service, very knowledgeable reliable, honest and trustworthy staff. I simply cannot fault the service and would recommend IPCS to everyone who needs their help. Thanks to you all at IPCS, you have saved the day......and my Sanity😁 All the best, and once again, THANK YOU Darren & a very relieved Ann

Just want to say I needed some advice for removing or treating a wasp nest in my eaves/loft, also an elderly neighbour's flat roof. I contacted Sean and Louise at Independent Pest Control. I can highly recommend the above company for their very quick response dealing with the job. Thank you to John who came out promptly and on time. A very friendly, hard working Team, reliable at an excellent price. Well done to you all From 2 very happy customers. I will definitely not hesitate in recommending the above company to friends and family and will be my number one phone call in the future should the need arise. Well done you are all an asset to the company. Angela Wilkes (Gateacre)

Excellent. Peace of mind restored.

The lovely Ean and his team helped us out so much with a very last minute job. He was super accommodating, made my colleagues a lovely cup of tea and made them feel a lot better after being on the road for a long time, running on no sleep due to the bed bugs, hence why we needed Ean's services. He also provided aftercare, taking me through the steps of what he did to exterminate the bugs to give my colleagues more peace of mind. Couldn't recommend this company more! Thanks again Ean xx

We have a regular contract with Independent Pest Control for our HMO's and have always found them, reliable, trustworthy and value for money. Recently we required urgent emergency support and IPC team members demonstrated just how they go above and beyond caring for their customers and wider community. We would highly recommend Independent Pest Control

Very professional, helpful and, importantly, effective.

Fantastic company, really friendly staff, very professional. Great service with great prices. Highly recommend.

Great service from Ian. Pigeons evicted from under our solar panels. Wire mesh set in place to stop them getting back under and the roof and gutters thoroughly cleaned. Can’t recommend highly enough. Very happy customer.

I rang to see if they could help with removing a bird trapped in the atrium of our public building - their response was really helpful and friendly, with an appointment booked for the same day . They understood the urgency of the issue and had the appropriate response to it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone - they made a stressful situation much less so!

Very reliable and professional company Neil has done a brilliant job keeping the local rats away from our premises.

I contacted Independent pest control as I was having problems with pigeons on my roof. Ian contacted me the same day and gave me a quote. 2 days later he sent Mark and Craig S out. They where very professional and put spikes where the pigeons where causing me problems. on the roof. They are an asset to the company, both very pleasant to talk to and knew what they where doing. So far I haven't seen any pigeons on that section of roof. I would recommend this company.

I really can't thank Ian and his team enough. I use a wide range of companies on an almost daily basis, very few of whom come close to the levels of service I experienced from Independent Pest Control. From start to finish their technician Craig showed great knowledge and professionalism in dealing with the problem. This morning was the final visit and the property is now totally free from rodents. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending IPC. Thank you once again Ian.

My house painting was going from bad to worse when the scaffolder found a wasp nest and had to stop work. I suddenly had a time sensitive problem. It's often said that when you are looking for good, fast and inexpensive service you can only have two out of those three things. Not so with Independent Pest Control. Within an hour of placing the call I had an experienced technician assessing my nest and deploying insecticide, and for LESS THAN HALF the price I was quoted by a competitor minutes earlier, who couldn't come until the next day. I'm just a householder but I was made to feel like my problem mattered. Call them with confidence, and get your pest problem sorted!

Used this company to remove insulation from the loft that had been subject to rodents. Ian was very knowledgeable and gave good advice. My tenant was happy with the service. would highly recommend

Great customer service and very quick to respond, highly recommend

Great service. Quick, effective response to a wasps nest in the attic.

I contacted Ian regarding a wasp nest in our roof space. The very next day we had Mark come and visit. Mark is an asset to the company providing a brilliant service; from calling ahead with an ETA, to a timely arrival with a very professional & friendly manner. Mark very clearly knows his stuff and went straight to the nest, treated it from inside and out whilst explaining to us what he was doing and what to expect next. Mark reassured us and advised us what to do if we had any questions or queries. We are extremely thankful for such a great service! Hopefully we will not require any pest control in the near future but if we do we will most certainly contact independent pest control again. Thanks.

Craig came round to inspect our property for rodents - he was punctual, polite and professional throughout. He checked the house very thoroughly, and gave us helpful advice for avoiding problems in the future - all for a very reasonable price.

1st class service from initially Ian and then technician Craig S in treating wasps nest in elevated loft extension. Despite an extremely difficult high location to access, Craig S carried out a professional job and kept me fully informed throughout regarding the process. I would highly recommend IPC and in particular technician Craig to deal with any infestation issues

Had our solar panels pigeon proofed today by Ian and Craig. They did a fantastic job and we are more than pleased with the result. After first cleaning out the gutters, they fitted netting around the solar panels and spikes along the gutters. They then cleaned the solar panels and washed down the guttering leaving everywhere clean and tidy. We were extremely impressed by their excellent service and professionalism whilst at our property. Wouldn't hesitate use them again and would highly recommend to others.

We have used the company on numerous occasions and the service is second to none. Attends when required and updates as the job goes very good service.

Can't recommend enough, we had a problem with mice for 10 months and after John came out and put a plan in place we were mouse free in 1 month. Great attention to detail and provided fantastic customer service.

I would highly recommend these guys. We have used them for over two years, always friendly, know their stuff and are professional and customer focussed.

Fantastic service, takes pride in the work which was carried out, work completed to a very high standard, very much recommend. Friendly staff, no job to big or too small, always willing to assist and help in anyway. 5 star service. kind regards, Michael Harrison Commodity Centre Warehouse Manager - Liverpool

I called for some advice and guidance, spoke to a very polite lady on the phone who put me in touch with the technician. He responded to my enquiry in very quick time and offered me some fantastic advice over the phone, extremely helpful and professional service. id recommend them to anyone.

John came out, identified and sprayed a bird mite infestation within three hours of my first phone call. He took the time to explain everything to me and was very efficient. I would use them again.

Extremely quick and lovely service from John. Would highly recommend.

Had John out a couple of times over rats in the floorboards. He’s always been very polite and calls before hand to let us know how long he will be. I felt reassured after he had been, nothing was too much trouble. He was happy to answer any questions and discuss any issues we had. Very professional service. Thank you.

I thoroughly recommend Independent Pest Control & Hygiene Services Ltd. They were round to my elderly parents house within a couple of hours of my initial call and sorted out the wasps nest. The service was swift, friendly and totally competent. And cheaper than the council! What more could you ask for.

They very promptly dealt with the wasp nest and the service was great. I would definitely recommend this company.

Fast response at a weekend. Here in half an hour so our little girl could use the garden in this hot weather. Would use again and recommend. Thanks Craig/Ian.

Six months ago, Ian cleaned and 'pigeon proofed' my Mother's flat. The quality of the work was excellent and still looks like it was done yesterday. Ian was efficient, courteous and friendly throughout with good communications. Highly recommended and would use again.

Ian is very helpful & professional to deal with. We called on a Tuesday to ask for help with an issue on our bay roof & he visited our property 2 days later & fixed the issue. Arrived on time, completed the work & removed all rubbish within an hour. This is the 2nd time Ian has done work at our property & we would highly recommend him 😊😊

Ian and his company did a great job at Thatto Heath Crusaders, especially with the deep clean of the kitchen area in preparation for reopening . The clean was done thoroughly and professionally and I will definately be recommending that we use his company in the future

Very quick & helpful service at reasonable price. Will definitely use again & recommend to anyone.

Could not do enough to help and put our minds at ease. Insisted on a Follow up service to reduce further problems. Could not recommend highly enough.

Speedy response, great service and visuals sent through. Reliable and trust worthy. Thank you!

I am pleased to find his business online. He is professional, reliable and trustworthy. Above all Ian cares about his customer and I highly recommend his service. Thank you very much. Melody

Craig came out the same day I called, he did a brilliant job and I highly recommend to anybody in need of pest control.

Craig was extremely quick and professional, it was a fantastic service and would highly recommend. He made us feel extremely comfortable considering the current climate and was extremely thorough, thoughtful and delicate in his approach removing the squirrels from our loft and keeping them out of sight from our 2 children. We contacted him once he fitted the traps in our loft after we raised concerns that a squirrel was struggling within one of his traps and he was extremely rapid in his response to our concerns and was extremely humane in his response to the situation which we were extremely grateful for. Again, highly recommended and we a regretful for his service.

Quick and professional service thank you !

Have dealt with Independent Pest Control for all of our sites we manage and found them to be professional and very knowledgeable. Nothing is too much for them to handle. Keep up the great work.

From start to finish this Company has been fantastic and I would highly recommend them. I contacted Ian about an issue, I was having with birds and it needed urgent attention. Ian was able to complete the job in a short time scale. Ian and Craig S put nets up, to prevent the birds from nesting. Both of them were polite and explained, what they were going to do before starting the job. They both had a funny sense of humour and it made my day.

good service

I have been very impressed with John and am very grateful for his help. He is very professional and clearly cares about his customers. Fingers crossed I don't have to call him again but I wouldn't hesitate in recommending John, and IPC, to anybody.

Our rodent problem has been successfully diagnosed and addressed by John. Very helpful and professional service, reliable and good value. I would recommend this company to others and would happily use them again if needed in the future.

Great service, great staff. Problem solved. Win win!!

Neil from independent pest control sorted our mice problem out professionally, and was very informative highly recommended Neil and the company! X

Brilliant service. Craig quickly and efficiently managed to catch 8 squirrels that were living under our new loft. Very understanding about placing and removing the cages as we have young children. Would definitely recommend this service, and would use them again if I need to. Thank you Craig.

Good company, and Richie is an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Unhelpful. Did not do what was asked or what was promised.

Very professional, quick service. Would highly recommend this company!

I had independent pest control come out this morning for a rat my cat had brought into the house and they were absolutely fantastic. The technician, Richy, was a true gentleman and so lovely and professional. Very fair pricing and I highly recommend!

First class service from this family run company. Efficient and friendly. Came out to wasps nest half an hour after calling their number. Excellent service and a very big thank you to Mark for sorting wasps.

Sorted out a squirrel problem in my mother’s loft. They also sealed up all the entry points the squirrels had made to prevent them returning. Very professional, helpful and courteous. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely First Class service. Craig was professional, very friendly and brilliant at what he did. Within 24 hours the problem had been totally sorted and I would highly recommend the services of this company.

We had been having an issue with excessive wasps in the garden whenever we had a BBQ but had not been able to identify a source. On the day before my daughter's birthday, when we were due to have a family BBQ, we did find a nest site. I called late in the afternoon and spoke to Louise who was very helpful. Louise arranged for a technician to come at 07.30 the following morning. Richy called a little later to confirm he would be at the property for 07.30. The following morning he arrived on time and he was very professional in getting the job done (and very polite with my 2 daughters who wanted to watch everything). Wasps done, followed by a great BBQ a few hours later. An excellent experience and I would recommend their services with confidence.

Quoted a reasonable price, advised that the technician would ring me the next morning and he did (so many companies say and then don’t deliver) the technician was great, asked the right questions and gave honest advice - it turned out I didn’t need pest control in the end and he was right, the problem solved itself after a few days. It’s a relief to find and honest and efficient company to deal with what was a very stressful problem. Thank you so much!

Contacted the company in relation to a wasps nest within the fascia of the house. Craig came the next day and was great, providing a professional and complete service. 10/10 would use again.

Great service from initial enquiry, on this time was able to attend same day. Very reasonably priced and great products on offer to cover all variations of vermin/pest extermination and prevention. Will definitely be using again.

Hi, Just wanted say thanks to independent pest control for the amazing service and help sorting my pest issue out. Thanks Luke

Richy came out within 30 mins of the call to sort a wasp nest issue, he also sorted a flying ant swarm for us whilst he was there. First class service provided. Highly recommend 👍
