This is the second time we have called on Peter and his team and as last time, they did an excellent job and we are thrilled with the result. Peter came over for an initial consultation and then sourced and provided the new hedges for us as well as explained how to care for them in the long term. On the day they worked in all extremes of weather that the UK likes to throw at us; rain, sun, hail and strong winds to trim our trees and plant new hedges. Our garden was left even tidier than they found it which is impressive due to the strong winds. We will definitely continue to use Peter Yeates Arboriculture in the future. Knowledgeable and friendly team. :)
We had a tree removed and some laurel hedging tidied by Peter and his team. They did such a great job. It was clear they knew exactly how to tackle the work and were finished in quick time too. Can't fault the service.
Peter was straightforward, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He gave us a very competitive quote for the work, which was in a very constrained position and included the removal of a 40ft branch overhanging our neighbour’s summerhouse. It was carried out efficiently, safely and the garden left in good order. We were really pleased with the outcome and can thoroughly recommend Peter and his team – we would definitely use them again.

Excellent job by Peter & his team. Cut back lower overhanging branches of neighbours extremely large beech tree, using ladders and long reach equipment only due to limited access. Also trimmed Pittosporum & other hedges around rear garden. Its opened up the whole space and looks really neat and tidy ready for the winter. Peter and his collegues did an excellent job for us by safely and tidily removing several trees from our garden, All debris was removed and the stump grinder was used to take the stumps down to a point where a new hedge could be planted in the autumn. Peter is friendly and knowledgable and helped us plan what would suit our needs. They were on time and did exactly what we had required. I would have no hesitation in recomending Peter Yeates for any tree or hedge related works.

A very friendly and knowledgeable team. They removed a large conifer tree, dug up a rotten stump and tidied up some of our other large bushes. We will reach out to them again in the future for planting and pruning. We have also recommended to our neighbours who are also happy with the service provided. The only bit we aren’t 100% happy with is the mess that has been left behind. 95% was dealt with which is great but the rest has been left sprinkled around our garden, on top of our garage roof (where the tree was cut down), our driveway and road where the van was parked. At least it’s just wood chippings and leaves and this does not put us off using this team again in the future.
Pete and his team have cut back a monster tree for us a couple of times and always do a terrific job. The tree is left in great shape and the garden tidier than when they arrived. Would recommend them without hesitation.
Peter and the team are great. We've used them for a few years now for various things from trimming hedges, vegetation clearance and tree felling. The guys are always super friendly, really easy to deal with and one thing that particularly stands out is they are so tidy! I know they pay close attention to this. Great guys, definitely recommend.

Our trees had not been maintained for several years. Peter and his colleague transformed our hedges and trees. Their service is professional. They work very hard and leave the work area clean and tidy.

They came to reduce the crown on a Yew tree, close to the house, and had very good equipment, with a hoist to enable working at a height. Very little noise was made throughout, and , after clearing and removing the cut branches, the Yew tree had been very well shaped. Excellent, and I fully reccommend the firm.

Fast, efficient and very friendly team who came and cut our hedges. They were significantly overgrown and the team cut them back nice and hard, tidying up and removing all the trimmings, making it look like they had never been. Removal of several lower hanging branches and fettle of branches from two large tree's. Fantastic workmanship from Peter and his team. The whole experience from quoting to completion of the work has been 5*, including the tidy up thereafter. Our 28m of leylandii hedge was cut brilliantly by Peter’s company. In fact it was admired by visitors to the garden. The company is very efficient in getting in touch, doing the job, clearing up afterwards and sticking to the original quote. Very friendly too.

Peter Yeates and his team reduced the height of our very long hazel hedge. Despite access being quite difficult in places they just got on with it with no complaints. They were reliable and very polite. The site was left clean and tidy. Will definitely use them again and recommend.
