The exterior of our house needed some love, Joel was a breath of fresh air and he delivered. Any extra work required was clearly described and the price agreed prior to it being actioned. We barely knew he was there most of the time and he has since quoted our neighbour for their facade.
Joel has just finished decorating the outside of our house and we are extremely pleased and impressed with his work: it is exceptional and of the highest quality. Our house is 137 years old, 3 stories, brick and stone with original wooden sash windows and iron pipes. Joel's preparatory work repairing, filling, sanding, stabilising, and undercoating was very fine and extremely thorough. Then the top coats of paint were applied with efficiency and skill - we are thrilled with the result. He uses the appropriate and best products. Joel is completely trustworthy - we were most comfortable for him to have the keys to the house so that he could get in whenever he needed when we were away. He is also an interesting person to talk to and fully sensitive to minimising the disruption to our daily life that such a project inevitably brings. Top marks for performance and value. Joel did another great job in our home. Great prep and repair on much drilled walls, filled and smoothed, and perfect painting to walls, ceilings, skirting boards and windows. Polite and tidy and offered great advice. Next job, he'll be the first person I call.

Joel carried out a very arduous job in stripping back layers of paint and varnish off a fiddly bannister, the subsequent decorating job he conducted is of the highest standard. Joel Hall has done many paint jobs for me over the years and i have never been disappointed with his high standard of workmanship.
