We recently had Stark & Son decorate 4 rooms in our home, 2 bedrooms and 2 offices, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Jack handled everything from the initial enquiry through to booking and was fantastic throughout. He came to quote quickly, turned the quote around fast, answered all our questions and got the job booked in without any fuss. Communication was professional and efficient at every step. Ian carried out the work and did an outstanding job. The standard of finish was extremely high, with clean lines and great attention to detail around fixtures and fittings. He kept everything tidy throughout and communicated clearly with us during the project to make sure the work was being completed exactly to our expectations. The results speak for themselves. We would not hesitate to recommend Stark & Son, and we are already planning to have them back to decorate the rest of our home.

Had a great experience with David and Jack - they did a mist coat and then a half and half wall and ceiling in master bedroom. Quality of David’s work was perfect and everything left clean and tidy after. Jack was really communicative thought out - would highly recommend.

We are really happy with the level of professionalism of Stark and Sons. The amount of preparation and repair before any painting took place was unbelievable. Every night all work equipment was stowed away and our house was left clean and clear. Our house looks amazing the finish is second to none and I am sure it will stand the test of time

I was let down several times regarding the initial start date. When they finally began the work, it was completed to an okay standard, but nothing I couldn’t have done myself. They weren’t the cheapest, but also not the most expensive — however, it just goes to show that you get what you pay for. I would recommend them for small jobs, but if you’re looking for work done to a high standard, they simply don’t have it in them.

I recently had my living room, bedroom and conservatory decorated. The standard of work was excellent. I was particularly pleased with the French doors in the conservatory. They had been external doors for 30+ years and were in a bit of a sorry state. Dave put in a lot of time and care restoring the doors to how they look now. Dave and Jack were easy to talk to. They arrived on time and everything was left clean and tidy at the end of the day.The final invoice was as the initial quote. I would certainly recommend Stark & Son.

We called in Stark and son when a previous decorator (clown) made a horrible job of various rooms in our house. Stark and son were first class in correcting all the errors that had gone on before including identifying details that we had missed! They painted various rooms alongside re-doing the rooms that were in need of recovery and they were a professional.clean working and only left each day when we were happy with that days work. punctual and straightforward down to earth people that you felt comfortable to have in your home Communication was clear and the price agreed was fair and they did not charge for little (and sometimes bigger) fixes they did as they went along In short my wife and i are very happy with all aspects and the next time i am in need of decorators it will be Stark and Son i will be contacting first!

The quote was very reasonable and what I was quoted was what I paid. No hidden charges. Jack and his dad Dave painted the outside of my terraced house. I was worried about how good the work would turn out as the render around the bay windows needed some work. I was very impressed with the work, it looks better than I hoped. Jack communicated very well with me leading up to the job. They were very clean and tidy throughout the job and just two nice polite chaps. No shouting or banging around like some tradesmen. Highly recommend these guys. My neighbour has just booked them in for some work having seen the work on my place.......oh and they arrive on time which is big in my book.
