My Elegant Home

Wouldn’t recommend using these, they left most of my house needing re-painted, very bad experience with this contractor

We are very pleased with the work My Elegant Homes has done painting the interior of our house and we were delighted by their friendliness, punctuality and professionalism. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend their services.

Very professional and friendly company. Great communication. Did a fab job painting the outside of the front of our house. Looks a lot nicer and more clean now.

A great team of professionals who go out of their way to get everything just how you want it. Very cooperative, reliable and hard working. As a team they get the job done far quicker than a one-man tradesman, and can do a range of jobs. They've transformed my house inside and out, with no delays, and I'm really pleased with the result.

Fantastic company to work with, would highly recommend. Perfect communication throughout with James, didn't rip me off with a silly quote and completed a fabulous job. If you are thinking of getting your rendering touched up and painted then these are the guys for you. Thanks for making our home look perfect.

Reliable, hardworking and very pleased with the results.

Amateurish and dishonest James and his team came to my property to refresh the lounge and the hall, stairs and landing. I was given great assurances around the high standard of work that I would be receiving but unfortunately it fell short. There are too many issues with their work to explain but their biggest failing was when protecting my feature walls, they used the incorrect tape and when they removed the protective sheets, they damaged the wallpaper. Fortunately, I had some of the wallpaper available and they replaced the badly damaged area but then managed to cause more damage but did not tell me. Instead, they took the time to strip the back off a piece of wallpaper and cover the said damage so that they could be paid. Unfortunately for them when it dried it fell off. James was supposed to be returning in the new year as there were a few bits that he knew needed addressing but when I sent him the pictures advising him if he wasn’t prepared to fix the issues properly not to return …………. he didn’t. They managed to damage the blinds, get paint on the carpet, doors and furniture and generally cause more issues than when they started. They may be good at painting the outside of a property, but interiors are definitely not their forte.

We had James and his team out to redocorate our hall, stairs and landing. Too big a job for us to do with lots of cracks, blown paster, suspicious coving etc. James talked through the options thoroughly and was open about the unknowns of the job. We had a long lead time before the start but the team turned up on the date agreed about three months previously and worked hard to get the job done in a week. They worked around our timetable with a young child in the house, and were friendly and professional throughout. End result is excellent, very tidy finish, looks like a new house. Can highly recommend.

Painted the front and side of my house no complaints James and team done fantastic job highly recommend

We used My Elegant Home to paint the outside of our house and are very pleased with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and tidy, with great attention to detail. Communication was clear throughout and the finish looks fantastic. Highly recommended — we’d happily use them again.

James and Chris did a great job re-pointing an exterior wall and sealing round existing render to prevent a damp issue. We were consulted on all decisions, work was done to a high standard and the area was left clean and tidy. Would recommend and will consider them for more work in the future

James and his team recently did a complete exterior repaint of my house, including windows, external timber framing and render, as well as repairing several rotten areas. They did a great job and it all looks fantastic. Communication was very good too - James was always quick to reply to messages and kept me informed as the job progressed. I'll definitely be back in touch when I next have a painting job that needs doing!

James did a fantastic job painting our house exterior. He was so kind and polite and very easy to work with. Would highly recommend My Elegant Home!

The Elegant Home team completed both external and internal work to a really high standard paying attention to detail and we’re very respectful of my home. They were a pleasure to have around and nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

What a great company! Polite, professional, reliable and very tidy. My house looks fab …. I keep going outside to look at it! Oh and a very fair price. So a big thank you from me to James and the lads will defo be recommending you. Did try to add photos but google defeated me!

Really pleased with their work today, decorating the front of our house (30th June). Very professional and courteous throughout. They did exactly what we agreed and a great finish. Will use again and definitely recommend.

James and his team did excellent work and communicated really well when a spell of bad weather got in the way of exterior window painting. Highly recommend.

A really very excellent job, thank you James and team - professional, thoughtful, careful, detailed, and the house looks amazing. Really good painting and woodwork care. Many people on the road are asking about you guys… we don’t hesitate to recommend you of course!

James arrived promptly when he said he would, and did such a lovely job on my window sills! He also replaced the rotten wood around the window frames. Polite and considerate, he even spotted and patched up the plaster falling away from my wall near my front door. Needless to say I am very pleased and will be calling on James for more jobs in my home!

1st class job. The lads were very professional and nothing was too much trouble. Painted the whole house for me and also did a couple of jobs that needed doing to make sure the house could be painted without any cracks in any of the walls. Has made the outside of the house look brand new again. Excellent price and quality.

Two years ago, James and his team from My Elegant Home undertook the external painting of our home after we had been let down by three other companies. This required substantial preparatory attention to the woodwork. We set tight deadlines for completion, and these were met. We were so impressed with the quality of the work that we commissioned James to externally point the house and repair broken roof slates. Subsequently, we also arranged with James for two external walls to be pointed as well. These works were all undertaken to a very high standard, and James and his team were excellent contractors with whom to work. We recommend My Elegant Home without reservation.

Best quality and very helpful too. I am sure I will use again.

James and his Team did a fantastic job repainting the exterior of my house despite the many delays due to the rain . Excellent work very hard working and professional. Will definitely use again

The highest quality for a fair price and worth it. Well managed, helpful and diligent. Fast, efficient and friendly.

We used My Elegant home to re-paint the exterior masonry of our house. James was super easy to deal with and communication was excellent throughout. We’re really happy with the painting work which was done at a fair price and we just felt really comfortable with James and his colleagues being at our home. All in all just genuinely honest people who want to come and do a good job for you. We’d definitely use them again for other projects.

Great job, very reliable and keen to do a good job. Exterior paint work now looks great. James went the extra mile doing some necessary repointing and clearing of moss from the roof and guttering. Will definitely use again.

This is the second time I've had work done by James and his team. Ridge tiles and leak in bay roof this time. My Elegant Home is a brilliant company. They come on time, explain everything, are polite, tidy and the work is fantastic.

James and his staff have just finished a job painting the interior of our house and also doing some repointing outside - excellent work on both. Prompt. Conscientiously cleaned up etc. Very pleasant to have around - flexible and considerate at all times. Highly recommended.

Friendly and professional service. Really happy with windows having being painted.

The team did an excellent job painting the front of our house, including a front door. Thank you! They were vey efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I've spoken with James a couple of days ago about popping over to look at my property as there were quite a number of jobs that need doing! He promised to come over today, but no show and no response! I've rang and left numerous voicemails for him to come over; I've even left him numerous texts but they have just been ignored! At one point he did pick up his phone and he was silent in the background sneering while I kept talking! Whats the point of running a business when you cant be bothered to take on jobs and show no respect to customers! I'm not sure what I did to deserve this; I feel offended and like a mug! I believe this is RACIALLY MOTIVATED and I'm very very disappointed!

James and his team did a first rate job on my badly overgrown garden (Bramble and bamboo) for, what I consider to be, a very reasonable price

So pleased with the service I received The guys were professional and friendly, Helpful and diligent. I had the exterior of my building painted and the front door , it’s never looked so good !

Very happy with the service provided by James and his team. The work has been completed to a very high standard. James kept me informed at all times, very reliable company. Would recommend to others.

James and John painted the exterior of our house. They were polite and friendly, and deserved the biscuits and coffee! They turned up on time and the work was done in a very professional way, with all the cutting in done first. Happy to recommend, and will use them again.

James and his team did a full exterior repaint and re-render of our house. They turned up exactly when they said they would, were friendly and professional throughout and left a fantastic finish. I would strongly recommend and would have no hesitation about using them again.

A fantastic job done in painting the front of my house. The job wasn’t the easiest due to steep drive up to the house and the complex of different paints required to complete the job. The team that came were professional, respectful of my property and were well briefed on the work that needed to be done. I fully recommend

Hired James to paint my 2 bedroom house. He did a fantastic job! Very nice and professional and at a great price. Would recommend and use again
