I had a number of problems with my Keyways CCTV system but, as soon as I made management aware, the response was fantastic. The engineers were determined to solve every problem and they did. Absolutely 5 star service.

All the interactions I’ve had with the people that work in this company, over the last 3 years, have been positive. However, they do need to improve on weekend emergency availability and the company that handles their paging service over the weekends.

The Keyways customer support I received in assessing and scheduling for an issue with my alarm and CCTV was excellent and timely. It couldn’t have been better.

We recently had a broken gearbox in our bifolds and after previously using Keyways' services for a new/more secure front door lock, we naturally gave them a call. Once again we were pleased with their response time, professionalism, and expertise. From the locksmiths to the finance team, it was a slick process, for a fair price and I wouldn't hesitate to use Keyways again.

I needed some information on a safe, specifically the cash rating, and Geoff was brilliant, coming back to me quickly and identifying the safe from just a photo. Great service!

This company is an absolute shambles. Twice I've booked a service and the engineer hasn't turned up. I've made around 30 calls to different people to try and get a service. Eventually an engineer turned up (who was excellent) but knew nothing about doing the service. The staff are great but there is a massive communication problem with this company.

One word.... AVOID... non-professional approach, especially considering it is the safety of your house and family they are dealing with.

Had been struggling to have some Abloy locks rekeyed to a new secure key way. Geoff was recommended by Richard at Holdfast Crewe and within 2 hours of presenting the 5 Abloy locks back in my hands all rekeyed as requested Absolutely delighted with the quality service Thank you and I know where to come re all things Abloy related in future.

Very poor quality products, keep disconnecting on monthly basis, and each time Keyways come to fix their poor quality software, you end with 300 pounds bill. Do Not use .

Fantastic service! key to antique wardrobe warn down and unable to open door. Took key into Keyways and the expertly cut a new key just by using eye and experience, as the key was very warn down. Charged £6 for new key and it worked, amazed - thank you!

always get the quote via email ( as a proof of agreed price) first before call out for the service. when I check my invoice I was being over charged by 30.00 plus VAT. always check your invoice before make the payment.

poped into their branch in Hale 5 monts ago, i wan2 2 x electric gates, they only got back to me last week...then did not turn up for the apointment, i then called as was informed that the person who had the apointment had that day off??????

Contracted with them a year ago to install a new PIR security system, external cameras/hard drive & intercom/gate access system. By Feb 2021, the PIR sensors had failed in select spots around the house several times, the camera & hard drive worked, maybe 50% of the time, and a new intercom module had to be installed. Engineers sometimes rocked up unannounced, sometimes we had to wait days. Not exactly what you'd expect from an alarm company. But it gets better... Fast forward to October 2021 - 1 year after install and several thousand pounds spent on the original install...the alarm system still does not work properly, the gate intercom access module is on its 3rd or 4th issue (it usually quits after it rains & the engineer 'reseals' or replaces it) the remote camera system was hard wired (with wires trailing all over outside walls & windows - thanks for that, Keyways - that's how to finish a job professionally!) and we've had several PIR modules replaced. Either they use cheap equipment, poor tech staff or both. I asked for a discount on the last bill due to 1 yr of poor service and counting and they deducted an amount for annual maintenance they haven't even booked in to carry out yet! Rather cheeky & not a discount at all. Miserable service, poor quality kit. Simply the worst money I've ever spent on an alarm. No idea how they've lasted 50 yrs with quality issues like this. Avoid Keyways at all costs, unless you've £5K+ you've no use for.

I contacted Keyways regarding a technical issue with a system in a house my mother had just bought. Ben responded to my query very quickly and supported it through to resolution. Overall a very positive experience, would recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Whilst the installation went well last week, it has been almost impossible to get any response from the company since. I specifically required an addition to the new system and have so far had 2 appointments made and on both occasions no-one turned up and no-one had the decency to advise that that this would happen. I cannot now get a response from Keyways and rather regret having involved them in the first place. Caveat Emptor!!

Had a lot of problems contacting anyone to complete the installation of my alarm. Still not completed all the work. They don't respond to calls. Very disappointing and really not what I expected, especially not from a security company. If I had realised this in advance, I would have gone elsewhere as they are more expensive than most.

My CCTV is brilliant. To get the best vision you need a good connection to the internet. I have known Keyways for years, they are a great company with extensive knowledge and excellent engineers. A great choice for a quality service. Nice people.

Extremely happy with the level of service I received from this company. I have recommended keyways to all my friends and family.

It took 4 calls to get the annual maintenance booked in, several promised return calls failed to be made, and a total lack of communication. I asked for costs, never got them, then was hit with an enormous bill for a simple maintenance visit. I feel the visit could have taken less time, but when we saw the bill, who knew they charge by the half hour! No wonder the engineer was so relaxed. Called to discuss but no one available and another promised return call never made. I will not be returning to Keyways, or recommending them to anyone.
