I’ve used Paul’s service twice. He came promptly when my door wouldn’t lock, and repaired it. Unfortunately, due to a recent injury I found it a bit difficult to lock (although he managed it fairly easily). He was very kind and agreed he should replace the whole mechanism for me, which he did the next day. A very fair price, professional, friendly, and highly recommended.

Paul fixed our front door lock with some graphite powder lubricant I had bought, and then wouldn't hear of us paying him because 'he hadn't done any work'. If everyone was like Paul the world would be a better place!
Called Paul at 5.00 pm on a Sunday and he arrived less than 1.5 hours later to fix a french door lock and alignment problem. Job was rectified and completed in less than an hour, he provided great service and communication throughout. Can't recommend enough.

Had an issue with my front door that wouldn't lock. which was stressful ,, contacted Paul after reading his Google reviews and he fixed my door asap ensuring I had security until he could do full replacement of parts and mechanics of my door , he also fixed my postbox for not much extra charge , really lovely guy would recommend

I visited my parents this week and when just about to leave early afternoon, my Mother told me she had lost the key to her special cupboard in her snug. I told her not to worry, I would sort something. I remembered seeing an advert in a local Link Magazine for a locksmith. A quick call and Paul advised me he would rearrange his day and get to my parents by 5pm. At 16:55 my father called me to advise all sorted. I had a problem with my front door. It would lock but I couldn’t get the key out. Paul called me back after an inquiry about my problem, and was at my address within 20 minutes. 30 minutes from start to finish (including the phone call) baring in mind it was a Saturday morning I spoke to Paul about a problem lock on a downstairs window that my estate agent clearly didn’t feel was an issue despite being a security breach. Patio door wouldn’t lock, I called and Paul answered straight away. He explained what he thought was wrong and in less than a few hours was there and repaired it straight away. Was extremely courteous and professional, and the bill was so good. I would 100% recommend and thank you for helping us.

I have used Paul now for 2 jobs and cannot recommend him highly enough. Friendly, polite and professional, very fairly priced. One job was particularly tricky- gaining access to a garden room which had locked with the key still in the door inside. Paul tried everything in the book until having to remove the beading on the door and cut the lock with an angle grinder! All of which he did very carefully to minimise damage to the door.
