Spoke to Roger explained that the key was broken inside the Yale lock and whether he could help. Roger was very professional and explained the different scenarios and costs involved. He was very reasonable cost wise and also said he could be there within 30mins - Roger was there within 30mins however the homeowner managed to remove the key themselves and was on the way to get a new set of keys cut. Roger rang me back to inform me that his services are not required, I apologised and said to Roger we were not informed he was very nice about it and said that he will not charge anything as he was not too far, Overall a very honest, reliable and trustworthy person, I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to call

Recently had Roger come and fit us new locks at our new home in Shipley. He was fast, friendly and gave us some great advice on our locks and some local locksmiths. Will definitely use Aire Valley Locksmiths again.
Roger provided excellent service. Can't recommend him highly enough. He responded quickly when I first contacted him about a broken barrel lock on a patio door. He came out promptly to fix that during freezing weather and dealt patiently when encountering an unexpected problem with removing the lock. We asked Roger to come back and upgrade the handles and locks on our two other external doors because we were so confident based on his first repair. He did that and fixed gratis long-standing door hinge maladjustments. A true professional locksmith. Don't be taken in by others who claim to be part of a national network but fail to respond to inquiries and appear to be unqualified.
Arrived within 20 mins to replace my front door lock which had fallen apart and locked me out. Friendly, efficient, and not expensive at all. Couldn't be happier with the service.

Called Roger as my handle had come off my front door. Roger got the temporary repair sorted quickly. He then sorted ordering a new lock and coming round to fit it. Both fittings were done super quick. Thank you so much.
The lock had failed on my front door, being the main way to access my property. Luckily it was secured so not an emergency. I phone Roger and explained the issue. He was able to diagnose the problem on the phone and agreed to visit the next working day. Roger turned up on time and immediately got to work, keeping me informed of his progress. The job was done in under an hour and he even gave me some advice on maintenance. I also mentioned I had an issue with the kitchen window, which I had been putting off for some time. He had a look and said he could fix it there and then, proving a quote which was very reasonable. He replaced the handle of the window straight away. He was professional and efficient the whole time. He got straight on with the work and everything was wrapped up in an hour, leaving the areas of work clean and tidy. Nothing seemed too much trouble and the total cost was very reasonable. I definitely recommend his service and won't hesitate to call Roger again if in need of a locksmith.

Roger is excellent - we had an old front door that had a lock that was very difficult to open. He has replaced the old lock and the door furniture with good quality hardware - the new handles look amazing - we were quite particular with how we wanted the handles to look and Roger really helped with that, recommending some and resourcing to meet our requirements. Friendly and exceptional service. Came promptly the day after I rang with a non emergency enquiry. An old Victorian writing desk which was locked and the key was lost. Lots of keys to try and as skill would have it the first key fit. Highly recommend.

So made an appointment on a Friday for Saturday Morning between 10 and 10.30. When no show at 11.00 rang to be told he had been in bed all week ill. Why make an apppintment if ill, and not even ring ring or text on day to cancel? Thank you for your response. I had to take my patents to hospital to visit my mums seriously ill brother. It would have been easier if you had just turned the job down or contacted us on the day to day you could not make it. Cannot give you 5 stars but have upped my 1 star review. Get well soon.
Roger went above and beyond to help with a window lock issue, there were access issues, rusted and seized screws and parts which made repairing the window extremely difficult but Roger kept going and figured out how to resolve the problem where others would have just given up. The lock is fully repaired a d we're able to open and close the window without issues. A fantastic tradesman who is an expert in his field! Would absolutely recommend Roger...... thank you so much.

I honestly don't normally leave reviews. However In a world where finding good reliable trustworthy businesses is pot luck, I can't recommend Aire Valley Locksmiths enough! Amazing! Contacted him and within 24 hours he came out and didn’t charge us for changing the handle from the outside so we were able to get in and out of the back garden. As soon as the new handle arrived he came the same day and fitted it for us. Absolutely brilliant service and such a kind and respectful man could not recommend Roger enough!
Roger came out the same day I called him within half an hour. Our patio door was fixed shut & we were unable to open it, he installed a new 1 star snapsafe lock &, adjusted our front door and fit new snapsafe lock. Lovely, friendly guy, would highly recommend ⭐️ Reasonably priced too!

Doing this review for Aire Valley Locksmiths. We had a problem with our door lock which had completely collapse inside and no way of opening the door . I called on a Sunday felt bad for that as it was that day. However a very helpful fellow called Roger came out on the same day to have a look at the door. Long story but Roger had a task and a half with it. He managed to sort it though in the end. He was excellent with his service and very clued up on locks. He ordered a replacement didn't have to wait long for the new part. He then arranged to come back and fit the new one. Roger is a great chap and would happly recommend him to anyone. Thanks for super service and value for money as well.

Couldn’t recommend enough. Our back door wouldn’t unlock and you came out to look at it as soon as possible that same day. The door turned out to be a complete nightmare due to work by a previous locksmith, but you were determined to get it fixed for us! It’s been working perfectly since. Thanks so much :)
Door wouldn’t lock late on a Saturday evening, talked me through what to do over the phone so the door couldn’t be opened which put our mind at ease over night. Roger is a fantastic craftsman and lock specialist. Reliable, fast, efficient and creative, Roger seems able to do pretty much anything with total skill. He arrived at very short notice to fix an emergency bifold door security issue, and two other complex lock issues with outer and inner doors. He also remodelled some of our kitchen cabinets, built and fitted bespoke buttresses for our outdoor steps, and fitted us a cat flap through a very thick stone wall – among several other projects we needed doing in our new house. I’ve already recommended Roger to several friends and family. Very highly recommended!
My door would not open so I called AVL and arranged for someone to come out. I was told there was a call out charge, even though not an emergency, found out that other companies do not charge this. The door was opened after being forced from the outside, later found damage to the door, chip marks to the Upvc. The lock was then changed even though it didn't need to be at a high cost I have police approved secure door handles. I was then told the mechanism may need changing again found out later this ws not the case. Less than 24 hours later the door would not open again. I had to get another locksmith out who thoroughly cleaned the mechanism and this now works perfectly. I did not need a new lock or mechanism it just needed a good clean. So disappointed as I feel like have been misled after trusting the advice given and greatly overcharged.

Roger responded to my add to fit a new window handle very quickly and came round when he said he would. He was able to remove the old screw panel, which we were struggling with and did a great job fitting the handle for a reasonable price. Nice chap. Wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.
