We had a significant project with Haywood Landscapes including site clearance, a new concrete driveway, paved paths, hardstanding, raised beds, fencing and driveway gate replacement. We were extremely pleased with the outcome. Andy's original design was exactly to our specification but we asked for some changes and he was happy to advise, accommodate and requote. The work started on time and the crew were punctual, polite, friendly, flexible, hard working, tidy, extremely professional and carried out the work with real care and an attention to detail.  We were kept up to date with progress and when unforeseen difficulties cropped up we were consulted as to options. We moved house to a new build a few years ago and had done nothing with the turfed from and back gardens other than cut the grass. We asked Haywoods to design our garden and deal with subsidence and uneven ground in the back garden. They produced a great design and a schedule of works allowing us to set up the whole project into a couple of phases. The work has been completed in the front garden completely and the ground issues in the back garden have been sorted completely. From initial consultations and design visits, though ground works and planting to clean up and post work visit to run through care requirements we have been really impressed with the quiet confidence and total professionalism of Andy and all the members of the team, from those who did the work to the office team dealing with the project. They were very flexible and added a couple of small jobs to the project as we went along (additional gate and bit of hard standing). Thoroughly recommended. A really professional and trustworthy outfit!

After getting 8 quotes from different companies I opted for Andy & his team the whole process of deciding on who to go with is very difficult one to navigate. Haywood weren’t the cheapest but we had seen them at work doing a neighbours gardens & decided to go with them as they seem good in doing their garden. From start to finish they were very professional with everything explained & no hidden surprises. I am happy to recommend this long established family business. They recently made an excellent job of renovating our courtyard style garden which after 20 years was looking rather tired. Relaying and repointing paving, providing new wall trellisses, replacing the garden shed and replanting beds and pots etc all carried out to an excellent standard. What I liked about this company is their willingness to work with you on the design and construction aspects to achieve our desired garden. Very much a "can do" approach - well organised, kept in regular touch, job proceeded smoothly and on time and we are delighted with the result.

We were looking around for an all in one solution to our landscaping needs. The design element was very important to us as we only had a vague idea of what we wanted in our minds. Andy and the team compiled our thoughts, essentials and desirables and created a design we loved from day 1. When it came to the build, we didn't have to wait long for a team to be available. They did a great job and neighbours had no complaints about their level of courtesy. Took about 6 weeks working business days to finish the job. A significant part of the job was excavating clay. All in we were extremely happy with the attention to detail and final outcome. The only issue we had was our pergola was delivered late by a one man team from a 3rd party, due to having a puncture. Given underlying medical problems I was unable to effectively assist with the delivery.

What a transformation! Andy and his workforce are all wonderful. Andy designed the perfect low maintenance garden and included all my preferred luxury buildings. I now have a super potting shed and veggie bed. My bins are safely hidden away and I have a relaxing summer house. The guys worked tirelessly through wind, rain and hail. I could not believe they managed to create my garden through such horrendously wet weather and mud. I was kept updated of each week's plan and of any changes. I will miss my chats with Mryse on the phone back in head office too. Cannot recommend this Company more highly. They are professional from start to finish and their work is extremely high quality. We had a complicated project to redesign our driveway, and to rebuild and widen steps leading to the porch. Our house is on a slope and there are quite a few trees, shrubs and a green parking next to the old steps. We found out that many companies could not or were unwilling to undertake this job. Fortunately, our neighbours have recommend the Haywood Landscapes. The team managed by Andy did a perfect job with building an L-shaped steps from 40mm beautiful sandstones as well as the driveway carefully avoiding roots of the trees and the green parking. They were friendly, helpful, punctual, highly professional, and hard working even during rainy winter days. Quality of workmanship, the attention to detail and tidiness were very impressive. Andy is an excellent and patient designer with an impeccable taste. He sent us pictures and brought various samples and clearly explained all the design features. We are very pleased and grateful for the amazing transformation of our front garden.

After the box caterpillar moth devastated my front garden, I approached Haywood Landscapes to design a low-maintenance gravel garden for me I cannot recommend the firm highly enough for their professionalism throughout. Our garden was an overgrown mess ever since we moved in with low quality soil and rubbish and rubble left over from the original house build and to our shame several years of neglect. Andy and team drew up a lovely low maintenance design to let us keep control but still get us some greenery and colour. Improved the soil, removed the rubbish paving laid by the developer and replaced with new patio and built out the raised beds and planted out borders. Quoted 3 weeks to carry out the work, but was completed to an excellent standard in 2 and to our budget. Very much looking forward to seeing it start to bloom in the spring and summer and such a relief to no longer have a horrendous eyesore staring at us through the windows. Excellent attention to detail and personal service. Thoroughly recommend.

Haywood landscapes did an excellent job on our garden. They built our patio last year and we used them again to tidy up the rest of the garden this year. They levelled it, created a raised bed, edged the borders, and laid a new lawn. The guys worked really hard and were considerate and tidy. This is actually our second time using Haywood Landscapes - and yet again we were extremely happy with the final outcome. Andy was always extremely helpful and came up with a fantastic design to meet our brief - that Brendon, Danny & team executed perfectly.

I had a very uninspiring front garden: a rectangle of patchy grass and a couple of dull grey paths along its edges. It didn't really match the house, it wasn't interesting or attractive to look at, and whoever designed it hadn't given much thought to the practicalities. It was crying out for improvement, but I don't know the first thing about gardening, and couldn't come up with a plan. I needed to find an expert who could look at what I'd got, see what it should be, and bring that into being. And that's exactly what I got with Haywood Landscapes. Andy took my list of constraints and nebulous preferences and turned it into a design I loved; Ross and Dave did a fantastic job of turning the design into reality in just three weeks, despite downpours and Arctic chill. I've now got a beautiful, usable front garden where every detail is just right, from the colours of the paving that echo the colours in the walls, to the flowing curves that lead the eye through the space, to the myriad of flowers that I'm looking forward to over the course of the next year. The team kept me fully informed from start to finish; they did exactly what they said they would, when they said they would; they were sensitive to my neighbours' needs as well as my own; and the end result really is stunning. I couldn't be happier, and judging by the compliments I've received, neither could my neighbours. We are delighted with the transformation and recreation of a section of our rear garden, which had pretty much not been used for the many years we have lived in our property. I am very happy with the work done by Haywood Landscapes. We had a number of retaining walls replaced with wooden sleepers, a vegetable planter installed, borders cleared and replanted, and turf laid. The work has been done to a very high standard and has transformed our garden. All the people we have dealt with from the company have been extremely professional, friendly and helpful. I don't have much understanding of gardening, and everyone has taken their time to explain various aspects of the work we've had done. As well as the hard landscaping, we are really pleased with the planting plan that was created for us, and which was based on our own preferences for colours, types of plant and so on. We just don't have the knowledge to have done this ourselves. I would recommend Haywood Landscapes without hesitation if you are thinking of having any gardening work done.

We had to wait for a quote but once given and accepted work was underway quickly and completed within the timescale quoted. The work itself was completed to a very high standard of craftsmanship. Our main 2 man team, Brendon and Danny, were conscientious and hardworking. On a couple of afternoons an additional 2 man team joined them. Andy Wiggins maintained overall responsibility. Any queries were promptly dealt with. Our patio was relaid, paths relaid and lawns stripped and reseeded. We are delighted with the results.

Earlier this year I moved to a house with very narrow vehicle access and small drive and a front garden which was dominated by overgrown hedges and tired planting. I asked Haywood Landscapes to widen the access and enlarge the drive but to maintain a 'garden' atmosphere. They have exceeded all of my expectations and I cannot speak too highly of their professionalism, dedication and attention to detail. I have no hesitation in giving them a 5 star rating.

This is the second time we've used Andy and team for work on our garden, last year to transform our front, and this year to lay new patio and install fencing in our back garden. Although our plans changed a number of times Andy was always patient with us and helpful with suggestions. It's hard to find trades people you can trust and I'm thankful we have found Haywoods. The quality of work is excellent and I won't hesitate to use them again.

We are delighted with our new garden. Haywoods may not be the cheapest contractor but they are good value for money. The lads worked hard, often in miserably bad weather. They arrived when they said - and, as importantly, said if they were going to be absent. They worked long hours and had great attention to detail. They were Covid secure. Their workmanship was neat and they tidied up at the end of each day. One specific example was the hardwood decking which they laid. It had very neat rows of screws and a hatch purposely made to access a manhole with specially constructed lifting keys. They listened to comments we made during the work and were happy to agree variations on site. All the team seemed to have a wide variety of skills. I hope we are not having another garden make-over soon (!) but we would be very happy to use Haywoods again.

Hayward have completed a very difficult landscaping on an awkward shaped plot and have done an amazing job. The work was carried out quietly and great attention was given to detail. We could not be more pleased with the result and would highly recommend them.

We have had two major pieces of work carried out by Hayward Landscapes. The first was the design and landscaping of our garden 4 years ago and secondly the removal of our old drive and laying a replacement which has just been competed. In both cases the work has been exemplary from the initial contact to completion. The very skilled workforce give attention to detail throughout the whole process, communicating as necessary , offering advice whilst taking time to listen and discuss what you would like done. Andy and Rob give a very personable and professional service which we would not hesitate to recommend .

When we moved to our current address, we were concerned about the size and shape of the garden because it lacked depth and was rather dark in places. The soil contained the remnants of the original builder’s rubble and the lawn had effectively been used as a children’s play area with no formal planting and a pagoda which dominated rather than enhanced the small patio area. We were not experienced gardeners and although we had some ideas about the type of garden that we wanted to create, for example, an area that would support wildlife and a generally informal rather than formal appearance, it was only at our initial meeting with Andy Wiggins that we were gradually able to identify what we really wanted from our garden design. Andy’s helpful questions and his ability to listen enabled us to think about how the garden would work for us. We were impressed by Andy’s professionalism at that first meeting and in all our subsequent dealings with him. The few changes that needed to be made to his initial draft design reflected just how well he had listened to our ideas and understood what we were looking for. During the work which took about five weeks to complete, Andy maintained regular contact with us to ensure that we were happy with the progress and the Haywood Landscapes’ team were friendly, hard-working and careful not to cause any disturbance to our neighbours. Andy and his team transformed two uninteresting strips of lawn into a garden which continues to give us tremendous pleasure. His planting scheme attracts numerous insects and provides different colours and scents all year around. The shapes that he created have given the garden a distinctive appearance and he even managed to fit in a small vegetable plot! We were so pleased with the finished product that we later commissioned Haywood Landscapes to redesign our front garden. Apart from their ability to listen to the customer’s requirements and their expertise in garden design, we would also recommend Haywood Landscapes for their on-going contact. When a tree failed to thrive, Andy quickly responded to our request for advice and provided helpful suggestions for replacing it.

Haywood replaced our old blotchy cement and tarmac driveway with a very attractive brick section complemented by a bonded gravel section. Andy Wiggins listened carefully to our likes and dislikes, adjusted plans when necessary, always kept us fully informed. We were very impressed with the professionalism of this company and delighted with the end result.The work was carried out by Rob and Chhai who were always considerate, careful and cheerful. I was recommended Haywood Landscapes by a neighbour that had been using them for years and was happy to show me their garden and the work that Haywood Landscapes had completed. I was very impressed with what I saw and I’d always rather employ someone from a recommendation. I called Andy who couldn’t have been more helpful. His quote was reasonable, not the cheapest but but it felt like a fair price and I was happy to pay a little more for a professional service. His team arrived and every single one of them were equally as professional, polite and courteous. Their quality of work was superb and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I moved into my new build house in Lenham five years ago. The rear garden had a grassy slope an oddly boxed in silver birch and a small expanse of lawn. Very unexciting but I had no idea what I could do with it. Luckily some friends recommended Haywood so Andy came to see me a couple of days after my call. He came up with a great design soon after so I decided that I liked what Haywood had to offer and accepted his quote. I didn’t feel I needed to look elsewhere. All went very smoothly in dry weather and they arrived early and often left when it was dark leaving the site clean and tidy. The team were all very easy to work with too, happy in their work I thought. My garden is transformed and I couldn’t be happier. It’s really beautiful and a joy to be in and to work in. Everyone has remarked on how lovely it is, full of cottage flowers but with a modern edge. I would and have recommended Haywood to many people and my neighbours have happily used them too.
