Reviews
4.5
Howdens - Eastleigh is often praised for its friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, with customers also valuing the good stock levels, quick service, advice and welcoming showroom. Reviews commonly mention kitchen renovations, design help and reliable trade service, although some customers have experienced slow or unresponsive design follow-up, occasional stock inaccuracies and difficulty seeing prices upfront.
Lovely people to deal with.
V pleasant and knowledgeable service. Good products. Due to these only being available through a tradesman there is no indication of the price which makes it awkward, hence one less star.
Went via our tradesman to get home visit arranged for designing a new kitchen. Visit was fine and was booked within a week of first contact. Visit itself was fine - not the best as they didn’t measure tight angles, or bends in the walls etc. which other kitchen designers took into account on their home visits. Anyways, from there on, everything was downhill. Designs didn’t get turned around as promised; actual pricing took another two weeks to come through by when we had hardly a week left to get their sale pricing. We gave up in the end as the overall process was rather slow. They didn’t seem bothered to do the kitchen at all. Or seemed very strategic to pressure us into buying the kitchen at their inflated sale price. Compared to other designers we found their sale price to be rather inflated. Eventually dropped Howdens Eastleigh after realising same kitchen in Bitterne branch was £1300 cheaper!! Also, they went totally unresponsive after asking for some amendments to our initial design. All in all; can be avoided to save time and energy you’d be willing to put in for your new kitchen.
Friendly and helpful staff
Very helpful chap here thank you
Always helpful staff and good stock.
Friendly knowledgeable staff who are happy to help.
Does what it says on the tin, everything about kitchens
We are doing a renovation at the moment and Megan couldn’t be more knowledgeable, helpful and professional. I rate Howdens anyway but Megan has just made the experience absolutely flawless.
Great place, friendly people, always game for a laugh!
The seller was very helpful and kind.
Did nt get anything but staff really helpful.
Very quick at getting what I needed. Staff were pleasant and polite. Lots of stock.
Excellent showroom and very helpful staff ...
Great staff and service. Always have a laugh. If you're trade, get an account. Friendly and great prices.
Good service
The kitchens are very similar to everyone else's, none have a wow factor
if you visit here see the young guy on the desk, not the older guy, he makes lots of mistakes 😉
Stock accuracy a bit suspect at times
Very disappointed. I expected them to be helpful. They were the most unreasonable people I have come across with the lockdown measures in place. I sent them an email telling them the room size and measurements a week ago and still not heard back from them with any design drawing plans or prices
Good service and always give good advice.
All the team at Howdens Eastleigh are owesome!
