We were very happy with the service provided today. The engineer was very personable and arrived on time. He disconnected and capped off the gas supply to a dated gas fire checking out all was safe before leaving. We would have no hesitation in calling NeaterHeat if we need further assistance.

We had Neater heat service our boiler and agreed that a replacement would be most cost effective in the long run and arranged a replacement a few weeks ahead. Less than a week later the boiler sprang a leak from a known faulty pressure gauge. Phoned Neater Heat and they were able to bring forward the installation to the next day with a bit of shuffling of their workload. Work carried out professionally and neatly with 2 very friendly installers.

We have been working with Neater Heat for the last 18 months over our portfolio of supported housing, the team (admin to engineers) are supportive of our tenants and staff reacting promptly to works ranging from emergency to routine and anything in between. Its a pleasure to work with you all and look forward to the future.

I would not recommend this company based on my experience. During work carried out at our property, an error on their part resulted in water flooding into our room. We were not informed when this happened and only discovered the issue ourselves. We provided clear evidence of water coming through the flooring and even dripping through the ceiling below, demonstrating the extent the water had travelled. Despite this, the company has failed to properly inspect the affected area or take responsibility. The water spread to a difficult-to-access area under a bed, and the laminate flooring used is not suitable for water exposure, so there are ongoing concerns about what may have been affected. We rearranged our work schedules to allow access for assessment, but the contractor they sent was unable to carry out the work due to a lack of the necessary skills. The issue is still unresolved. There has been no apology, no accountability, and no meaningful effort to put things right. If the company chooses to respond to this review, I would encourage them to focus on resolving the issue rather than continuing to deflect responsibility and attempt to pass any associated costs back to the customer, as has been our experience throughout.

Friendly first class service

Just had an excellent engineer who sorted out a water leak which we had to wait 5 days for the company to provide. We live in a top floor flat and have struggled every day to prevent water damage to the flat below. We advised the company that we required urgent action which was ignored 🙁. 5 stars for the engineer. Nil stars to the company front end. Don't ever do that to us again!!!!

Having previously employed Neaterheat to service our Worcester Bosch boiler I took the decision for them to replace some radiators and to cure a water hammer issue. The process was flawless from the interaction with the nice ladies in the office, the initial visit to check requirements, and the subsequent fitting. The engineer Dan was polite, helpful, knowledgeable and maintained a clean work area, even, when faced with some potentially tricky pipework modifications. I would not hesitate to recommend Neaterheat for any heating work and it is nice to find a professional company who take pride in their business and the needs of their customers.

I want to say a big thank you to Jamie. My central heating broke down at the weekend. I had to cancel Neater heat due to realising I had taken out emergency cover with my home insurance. However, I was going to have to wait 2 days for some help!! When Jamie called and I explained the situation he asked me to talk through the issues I was having with the heating system. He was able to get my system up and running again within 5 minutes just guiding me on the phone as to what to do! I was delighted to have a warm house again!! Due to being so professional and kind and generous with his time and very helpful and knowledgeable I have now decided to take out a yearly comprehensive emergency plan out with the company. Communication with Neater Heat was easy and efficient with an installation appointment made for the following week. Daniel arrived on time with an advance text message to say he was on his way. He was friendly, efficient and took the time to consider the best way of installing the Hive system in coordination with my boiler, tank and underfloor heating system to maximise its usefulness to me. Everything was explained. The job was done in quick time and his work was exceptionally neat. I'm very happy with the whole experience.

You recently installed a new boiler at our property. Unfortunately, since the installation, the heating system is not operating correctly and the situation has become extremely frustrating. When we turn the heating on, it does not turn off automatically. The house either becomes extremely cold or excessively hot, with no proper temperature control. The heating only stops if we completely switch off the boiler, but doing so also cuts off our hot water supply, which is not acceptable. Before the boiler was installed, we were struggling with cold temperatures. After the installation, we are now left with only two options: freezing cold or unbearably hot. This clearly indicates that the system has not been set up or configured correctly. This issue needs urgent attention. Please arrange for an engineer to attend as soon as possible to inspect and properly fix the problem. We expect the heating system to function safely and correctly, with proper temperature regulation, as part of a professional installation.

Excellent service. This was my first time using Neater for my boiler service. Arrived exacrly when they said they would. A very polite young man automatically put on shoes covers and also a protective carpet cover in front of the boiler cupboard. Did a very comprehensove job and showed pictures of what had been cleaned etc. All done within the hour and signed the service book.Put my mind at rest and will definitely use again.

Very unprofessional. Came in to do the annual service and for a very small leak told me to change the boiler. They gave me a quote of £4995 for a new boiler . I called British Gas and they solved the problem in 1 hour. British Gas gave me a quote for the new boiler £2000 cheaper

Fantastic quality of work and service! This is the second time that we have used Neaterheat and they again provided an excellent service and quality of work that was very reasonably priced. Brad was with us for 6 hours replacing a couple of radiators and adding thermostats to all our radiators. He was very friendly and polite and worked methodically and carefully through the job, keeping us up to date with it as he progressed. The job was completed earlier than we were expecting and the house was left clean and tidy. I would thoroughly recommend this company and would use them again myself.

We recently had a new combi boiler installed by Jamie and Matt from Neaterheat, and the whole works were carried out in two days, quietly and efficiently, with the minimum of disruption. All of our old and redundant boiler parts (tanks & header tanks and pumps) were removed and taken away and everything was beautifully cleaned after installation. First time ever in the annual service of my combi boiler, your engineer checked my outside LPG gas tank. When I queried this he said it wasn't strictly necessary but that he was 'old school' and liked to include this in the service just in case there were leaks or similar problems. If I was just scoring on the engineer that arrived today I would give him 5 stars. He was friendly and knowledgeable and carried out the upgrade to the software very quickly. However, we had 3 cancelled appointments from Neater Heat and although they always let us know, sometimes it was on the actual appointment day. Emails and telephone calls have always been dealt with politely

I had no heating or hot water - Neater Heat (Matthew Crawford) arrived at my property within 20 mins of calling, very friendly and knowledgeable, diagnosed the issue very quickly, had the issue fixed promptly as the parts required were in the van! Did not expect an actual fix during the callout, very impressed Matthew offered additional advice on how to balance my radiators to heat my home better. Very impressed and can definitely recommend!

The Electrician Jim Powe was widely experienced, knowledgeable and helpful. Our system error was found and fixed in no time. We recommend this company. All in all lovely people to deal with.

We've used Neater Heat now for over 7 years - from new boiler installations and removal of old back boilers, to new radiator installations, boiler servicing and fixing of gas leaks - they are wonderful and I wouldn't use any other company for heating works. I've had awful experience with tradespeople over the years but cannot rate Neater Heat highly enough - such a friendly and knowledgeable team of people. They are efficient, helpful and tidy and the only tradespeople I've met that I never get anxious about working in our house!

Massive thanks to Neater Heat for installing our heat pump. We were recommended NH by a neighbour who had had one installed and it has been a really brilliant service from start to finish. We were unsure at the start whether a heat pump would be viable for our house as part of some renovation work but a generously long phonecall with Lee (I didn’t realise at the time that he was the MD) talking it through and looking at some photos of the considerations, and another helpful chat with Richard meant we were able to take the next step and I’m so pleased we did. The quote was competitive with others we received and they were able to meet our timescales and install much sooner than other companies we spoke to. Special shout out to Matty (certified Heat Geek) for doing all the design work and oversight and his very patient explanations to us of how the system would work - he is massively knowledgeable and gave us huge confidence that this was a company that knew their stuff and it wouldn’t turn into a heat pump horror story. Mark, Jamie, Henry and Josh as installers and Jim on electrics were all really great doing the install on site and our builders commented on how collaboratively they worked with them through some of the logistics. Really grateful to Jade as well for her diary management for the team throughout it all when we had been in a bit of a state of flux with our timescales. Roll forward the clock 3 months and the pump has kept the house really warm over a cold winter, with lower running costs than we had expected. If you’re looking to switch to a heat pump, I would really recommend it with Neater Heat.

An incredible experience from start to finish with the intial call to gettin someone out asap as our heating and hot water had stopped working. Here within 2 hours and Danny was incredible with his explanation and resolution of the poblem within an hour. So resasuring and full report back after. I got a text that the engineer was on the way with eta. Although the engineer came to update the software he also gave me a couple of tips on setting up the system. One of these was very useful and had not been pointed out by the installers of the system(not Neater).

Couldn't recommend this company enough! We have used them 2 or 3 times now: First time was to install hive heating to an existing system. Second time for a boiler fault This time was with a problem with the hive heating (I really don't recommend hive if you're considering it - it's impossible to troubleshoot; the thermostat valves eat through batteries and it's really expensive) Every time Neater has been out, they've been on or around the time. They've always been polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic service!

After 2 companies misdiagnosing the system problem, charging us a fortune for nothing and letting us down with dates we were relieved to find Neater Heat. They quickly correctly diagnosed the problem and were very responsive and helpful from the start. Their engineers worked until almost 9pm to finish the job on time due to delay of heat pump delivery from manufacturers. Companies like Neater Heat restore my faith that good customer service and importance of a professional service still exists. 5*s in every way!

Superb service. We have just moved into the area and were concerned about choosing the right people for servicing our boiler, without going to the “big suppliers”. Neater Heat proved to be a great choice! They sent round a young engineer, who was friendly, polite and most of all, knowledgeable! He was able to advise us on the operation of the system, as we had not had a combi-condenser boiler before! He also helped us to work out what was best for our thermostat zones and identified an issue (that we are happy to get done). He discussed maintenance without hard selling it and generally left a great impression! I started the review with the word “superb”… it should have read: “Excellent Service”!! I have no bother in highly recommending Neater Heat!!!

As a general rule I do not give reviews as often I feel people are doing what they are paid to do however I have used the Neater Heat guys three times now and they have been excellent. I got Desmond this time 10/2024 he did the boiler service, bleed the radiator and then looked at a leak we had in the down stairs toilet. He identified the problem and replaced the faulty valve with a better one all within the boiler charge out rate. Like all the previous NH guys friendly, courteous, on time, appeared to know what he was doing. straight talking, honest helpful responses and no patter these guys never fail to impress. Invoiced promptly, paid promptly And worth every penny 2022-10 I got Ashley this time who was Friendly, courteous, prompt competitive and appeared to have a good level of technical knowledge. He recommended I get the gas safe guys in to check the gas pressure, organised it and came back to coordinate the same morning. More than happy with their service

We had a new boiler and unvented cylinder installed by Mark and Jamie from Neater Heat. They arrived promptly each day, worked hard, were tidy, polite and provided and overall exceptional service.

This company was recommended to me by my sister who had used them a couple of times before. Booking was made to check out faulty valves and boiler service. Boiler failed safety check - it was 42 years old. A couple of solutions were offered and quote provided. Boiler, pump, valves and various other bits replaced. A fault did appear late evening after instal which was fixed the following day. Follow up visit 2 days later to make sure all was ok. Bookings made quickly. I was kept well informed by the office and on site guys. They turned up when they said they would. Quality of work looks good, all rubbish removed and left tidy. I would definitely recommend.

Did not know a local plumber and had leaking tap husband could not fix himself. Neater Heat responded to me promptly and had a very competent and pleasant plumber Josh come within a few days and to suit my work commitments. Was kept updated of when to expect him, he was prompt and efficient and it was more reasonable than we were anticipating. Would highly recommend.

Great pre amble and boiler itself is good but service generally was a bit slap dash, quoted for some elements that did not need to be done. Bricking up of old boiler venting performed by a child and then argued the toss about it needing to be redone, then took ages to be redone, communication sporadic, left a mess in a number of areas at intial fitting. Attention to detail lacking. Overall, some issues but fitters were nice guys. Discussed issues with MD Lee and they have kindly apologised for any concerns raised and appear to be happy to take onboard feedback which is always good. Also gave a discount off the final invoice by way of apology.

Excellent service from Neater Heat. I had a couple of problems with my boiler throwing up fault codes which eventually stopped my boiler firing up.. The engineer explained the faults and looked at the possible problems causing them. The boiler is now working as it should. I would highly recommend Neater Heat. Neater Heat recently installed an air source to water, heat pump system for me. Before deciding on a heat pump I had carried out several months of research and was aware that a successful and efficient system was heavily dependant on the knowledge and expertise of the installer. I had carried out my own heat loss survey and had a pretty good idea of the equipment I wanted. Neater Heat provided independent and re-assuring heat loss calculations, high quality hardware and a short lead time compared with other quotes I had received. I did my own radiator movements and upgrades but the implementation of the H.P. system design and install was superbly carried out by Danny and his team, Jamie, Luke and electrician Jim who also fitted a complete new consumer unit for me. The success of this project is down to Neater Heat’s very professional installers who clearly know what is required to deliver an effective system in a small space. It works well and even looks good if you like plumbing. (As it happens I do) I have no hesitation in recommending Neater Heat for heat pump installation and general work quality.

I should have known better than to go somewhere else to have Hive installed - I had ended up with no hot water or heating as a result of using one of Hive's engineers, but Neater Heat came to my rescue with only a few hours' notice and now I am toasty warm. I used Neater Heat to supply and fit a boiler a good couple of years ago and have used them for servicing ever since. Every year the service provided becomes greater. Smashing company with a well oiled team. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

As always did a very good job. I like that they put outer covers on their shoes when they come into my house, which is very considerate. The engineer ( i have forgotten his name it started with D), he was such a lovely young man, not only did he service my boiler, but he fixed my Nest which is attached to the heating system. He couldn't do enough for me, and I hope he comes next year for my service.

Absolutely brilliant service. We needed a heating engineer urgently to resolve a problem caused by a Bosch engineer. The receptionist was efficient and we had someone arrive within 15 minutes. He resolved the issue really quickly. Matthew was polite, knowledgeable and successfully got us back up and running. Highly recommend - we would definitely use this company again.

We are deaf and they made it easier for us to communicate with them via text and email. A polite Engineer guy came and did the boiler service. The next day the hot water did not reach the temperature and the guy came back again and double-checked. The guy explained what the exact issue was and helped me get the serial number for me to contact the warranty department.

Our boiler broke the previous evening, and I called in at 8am. I got threw to a lovely lady, who was empathetic and kind. I could tell they didnt really have capacity, but she squeezed us in on the same day. The engineer was amazing. Polite, helpful, informative and respectful. He found the problem quickly and went through it with me (I asked lots of questions as I'm technically minded!). The issue came back the next day, but another engineer came around within two hours of my call and the problem was fixed. Highly recommended :)

I had Neater Heat fit my new boiler last year and was so impressed with the service I received that I then decided to take out a service agreement with them. This was carried out today by Desmond whom I found to be exceptionally thorough in his work and who explained the service in great depth - giving me total faith in the work that was carried out. This is money well spent.

Great. Called on a Wednesday morning as we had no hot water. They sent someone out that day to have a look said we needed a new pump + small part. We got the quote in a couple of days and the repair including a full service and health check done on the following Monday. All I can say is very afficient friendly polite staff and an affordable price. Have already booked next years service.

He was friendly and professional, the service was thorough and he left everything clean and tidy (he even put shoe covers on to protect my floor!) and was everything I would expect from these guys - they are just brilliant!! Neater Heat are absolutely spot-on when it comes to service and exceptionally good at communication. They installed a combi boiler and have done repairs and safety checks for us and have been first-rate throughout. I wouldn’t bother with quotes from anyone else now.

We 100% recommend Neater Heat. They were brilliant with us from start to finish. Initially Danny spent 90 mins advising us how to get rid of our ancient back-boiler and immersion heater and replace them with a relocated combi boiler and new radiators. The admin was excellent. Within days, we received a fairly-priced, detailed quote and were able to book the days we wanted the work done. We were sent confirmations and reminders of every booked day and were also able to ring Jade in the office at any time with questions. Everyone was very friendly and helpful to us. The work, lead by Josh, was completed efficiently within the three booked days and everything was left neat and tidy. The attention to detail is exceptional in everything they have done. We can't thank them enough for making what was a big deal to us, so easy.

Danny arrived on time and successfully repaired my Megaflo Heatrae Sadia cylinder, a thermostat had burnt out and the back up immersion had broken. Not an easy repair, he communicated well, was courteous and cleared up well. Would definitely recommend.
