Fantastic engineers who were nothing but courteous and more than happy to talk through the process throughout the install. They adapted as they went to ensure the job was as high a spec as possible, even assisting in repairing a minor plumbing issue that arose outside of the original scope. A market fair price and well worth every penny to have decent and trustworthy people. I could not recommend them enough.

We recently had an air source heat pump installed by Thermodynamics. We were extremely happy with all aspects of the installation, carried out by Will and Farley; they took all our specific requirements on board, did a very professional installation, were very friendly and courteous, ensured everything was clean and tidy at the end of each day and ensured that the air source system was working effectively to heat our house. Will is very passionate about air source heat pump systems and has an extensive knowledge of them. Jade was also very responsive to all our communications and helpful in resolving any queries. We’ve had the heat pump in for over two months now and, even during the cold snap in January when temperatures went down to minus 4 degrees, we have been toasty warm all the time. We would definitely recommend getting a heat pump; it’s far superior to a gas boiler in providing a consistently pleasant temperature within the house.

We recently used Thermodynamic South Yorkshire for the design and installation of a full central heating system and an air source heat pump. From the initial design stage through to commissioning, the communication and attention to detail were very impressive. The installation was carried out in a timely manner, with every effort made to accommodate our requests regarding radiator placement etc. The team ensured the property was left tidy at the end of each day, and the work caused no disruption. I can't speak highly enough of the Thermodynamics team. From the initial consultation and assessment of the property through to the final commissioning and in depth handover of the system, they met or exceeded my expectations on every level. Will and Farley were not only always polite, considerate and tidy but also happy to take time out to chat through some of the installation process / answer questions that arose or even slightly revise the instal plan as things progressed. Jade kept us well informed at all times and showed an infinite amount of patience as I bombarded her with radiator options which she diligently checked for heat output suitability based on the heat loss calculations from the site survey. The care and attention to detail on the instal can be seen from the meticulous way radiator pipes have been run (not always in the way one might expect due to the nature of the house) along with the lagging around all the pipe work in the cellar and outside. We're already saving around £5 per week just on hot water and I have to admit that this year I'm actually looking forward to the day in autumn when the central heating will be required! Thermodynamics South Yorkshire have been fantastic from start to finish. Will and Jade have been happy to answer my many questions. Of the 3 heat loss surveys and quotes I received, Will was the only one to take into account that we had underfloor insulation and size the heat pump accordingly. Later experimentation has shown his calculations to much more accurate than the others, with the others significantly over estimating the heat loss and thus over sizing the pump. When it was first commissioned the weather was between -1 and 3 C and the heat pump heated the house to 21C and would have kept going had we not turned it down as we were plenty warm enough. Will and Farley have been excellent installers (skilled, polite, friendly, considerate of those in the house) , and the house has been tidy and suitable for children (age 1,3 and 5) to be in, even when they had to take up flooring. During fitting the weather was cold outside but Thermodynamics South Yorkshire provided electric heaters that kept the house warm enough to be in, and disruption to hot water was minimal. Throughout Jade has been easy to get in contact with, by phone and email. Will, Jade and Farley, thank you for your excellent service and expertise.

Absolutely excellent service provided by Thermodynamics South Yorkshire. We were recommended to contact them by Vallaint to correct an issue with our Air Source Heat Pump. Jade was great at keeping us informed with regards to the planned schedule and work that was required.The service was prompt and comprehensive. We’ve since had a second visit in order to improve our whole system and subsequently set up correctly, which we’re sure will make it more reliable and efficient. Will who completed this work was great … very pleasant ..and demonstrated great understanding, patience and attention to detail. We were highly impressed from start to finish . Five Stars are not enough for this amazing company. Thermodynamics director, Will designed a comprehensive and bespoke heating and hot water system, tailored to my property and to my family’s specific home comfort requirements. Also being careful to create a system that was energy efficient. Using his own comprehensive knowledge and enthusiasm of air source heating systems, he then installed the whole system throughout the house. He and his colleagues were courteous, respectful of us and our property. Protecting and cleaning all of the house as they completed the install. Always informing and asking us about different aspects of the installation. Taking immense pride in their work. Upon completion and after cleaning the whole house Will gave us a personal tour of the system and how to use it. As a new installation I need to get used to a different type of heating system, after having removed my old gas combi system. In the short time since the install, the temperature throughout the house is constant and comfortable. The pressurised hot water is amazing. We would highly recommend Thermodynamics South Yorkshire Ltd as the choice for a fantastic, tailored heating system. Professional and extremely knowledgeable plus a great friendly personality. Been very impressed with the professionalism and expertise shown, both pre, and during installation.

Professional, thorough, trustworthy, reliable and honest. Delighted with my new Air Source Heat Pump, plenty of hot water, ambient temperatures very comfortable, no cold periods waiting for the gas boiler to kick in, saving money already and i can see how much energy it generates and what it costs. Early days but a COP of 3.5! With some minor adjustments I believe 4 may be within reach! Also the Vaillant ASHP is unobtrusive and so so quiet. From Jade, Will, Farley to contracted builders, electricians, all lovely people. Very customer centric. Streets ahead of other organisations, Very thorough disagnostics, honesty, no sales tricks, professional, easy to understand , enthusiastic and committed to delivering the best possible solution at a fair price, no hidden extras. Just had a heat pump fitted in our Victorian end terrace by Thermodynamics South Yorkshire Ltd. The company have been very professional throughout and I would have no qualms recommending them to others. Will came out and did the heat loss survey and then returned for the fitting. Although the installation was complex and took a little longer than anticipated, there was no suggestion of increasing the agreed fees and it was good to see Will maintaining his attention to detail and focus on achieving a high quality output. I felt reassured to have someone who clearly had such an interest in and understanding of heat pumps fitting mine.

I had a heat pump fitted from these guys almost a month ago, it works flawlessly. They've been brilliant to deal with, I can't recommend them enough. Will, the engineer who installed the heat pump, did an initial survey and asked me lots of questions about what I was looking for, there was zero pressure at all for them trying to sell me anything. The installation itself just took over a week, they removed the entire existing hot water system, replumbed all new pipes with new radiators, and worked around me as best as they could to minimise disruption. Will has been incredibly professional throughout, it has been clear he takes a lot of pride in the work that he does.

Just had a heat pump installed in my Sheffield 4 bed 1930's Semi by Thermodynamics South Yorkshire Ltd. They installed an open zone system with a 5k Vaillant Arotherm and 250L horizontal tank and lots of new radiators. I can't recommend them highly enough, from the initial visit through to completion of the job they have been fantastic. They clearly have a passion for the job and went to great lengths to ensure that the system was installed correctly and sized for the house. Everything was done to a great standard and they left the place cleaner than they found it !

Great team! Came when they said they would, did a fantastic job and were respectful throughout. Ours is a 200 year old stone built cottage and had no central heating whatsoever. The heating is working fantastically well and we love coming home to a warm house. They went above and beyond and maintained great communication. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Thermodynamics installed my air source heat pump and I could not be happier with the result! They were really professional and answered all my questions before the work was carried out. They did a heat loss survey to make sure my radiators and pipework would be suitable for the heat pump and I had a couple of new radiators fitted which were larger than the old ones. The installers were polite and tidy, they even cleaned up each night before they left. The heat pump works seamlessly, it has saved me money compared to the old gas boiler and keeps the house just the right temperature all the time. For anyone who is unsure of heat pumps, I would urge you to call this company and speak to them about your concerns, they are really helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you have a good system which works right.
