We had Durhams Heating To install our air source heat pump…. To say this was a massive job is no exaggeration… Seven days in total for the complete works to be carried out. We have nothing but praise for the whole team from start to finish. Durhams have been an absolute joy to deal with. A first class experience from start to finish. Having a boiler, radiators fitted with other jobs over the week, each person who worked with us was professional and meticulous about making sure everthing was right. I was very impressed with the several young guys who worked on our job, were very professional and certainly a credit to your company. Very hard working, and didn't stop! Every time I have rung the office I have always been treated courteously and sorted quickly. Will definitely recommend and definitely be using again when needed.

Required boiler move in kitchen. Scott came and had look at the job then sent me a quote. Owen and Rio came to do the job. They were both polite and friendly , had a look at what was required and then got on with protecting the areas they were going to be in. At the end of the first day, they cleaned up and left the job tidy. The second day was the same and when they had finished, the house was left in the same condition as it was found. The gas certificate arrived the next morning via email, as the admin for the job has been excellent throughout, keeping me updated with everything. A job well done by everyone involved.

So pleased with the service provided by Owen and Rio when they came and fixed our malfunctioning radiator, that another plumber had failed to fix. A really pleasant couple of guys. Very happy with my new Worcester Greenstar 4000 boiler installation (recommended by Scott who is very helpful & knowledgeable). Have always been very impressed with Durham's knowledge, reliability & quality of workmanship on general plumbing and boiler servicing over several years. They were therefore the natural choice for my new installation. They always provide a very good reliable service - from all the lovely ladies in the office, to all the engineers on site. We are very happy with everyone we have had contact with in this company, both admin and the engineer. All very friendly, helpful and responsive. The engineer was lovely. We felt very confident with his work, he was efficient, informative and very friendly. His team put in new Smiths commercial high level convector radiators with the minimum disruption and left the hall clean and tidy. I had my boiler replaced yesterday by Durhams, cannot fault them at all Sam fitted the boiler, another young man came with him and replaced all the valves on the radiators ( I’m sorry I forgot his name). Both lads were very professional courteous and cleaned up when they finished. A superb job by an established local company.

Durham are a very competent team. Our house has underfloor heating throughout, with a big complex system, we needed a company that we could trust to do the job correctly, we’ve had a couple of companies that didn’t understand the system, and we’ve also had a cowboy… NEVER AGAIN. But Durham, from day one, have taken the time to understand what they don’t know about our heating system, learn and they always sent the same guy (when it was to do with the heating anyway), they turn up when they say they will and are very respectful of our home and pets, we couldn’t speak highly enough of Durham, we will never go anywhere else. 5⭐️out of 5.

Durham's engineers turned up on time and completed the installation of the new combi boiler in one day despite having to correct the wrong size of gas pipe that was left by our previous installers British Gas 18 years ago.The engineer help us set up the control system via our tablet computer. They left the work area clean and tidy on completion of the job.

Member of staff attended my elderly mother's home, she didn't get his name but she said he had tattoos and a beard, he was exceptionally rude and impatient with her, he sat in his van for over 15 minutes once he had left my mother's house with music blaring from the van causing distress to my mother and neighbours

Josh and Sam arrived on time to install a new radiator.(Not a replacement one).Needed a new pipe connection drilling the wall etc.They introduced themselves to me and explained what they going to do.Noticed they did smart working than hard working.Finished on time.Very tidy and excellent professional finishing.I had other quotes in Retford.Most of them too greedy. A great find - Durham's have been professional and friendly and have done a great job replacing my en-suite and a couple of toilet flush valves. I will not hesitate to call them the next time I need any plumbing work. more recently, some more of the rubbish that the original builders installed has been replaced and the quality of Durhams' work is such that I expect they'll outlive me

The service it's self was ok ,I booked an appointment for a service and when I booked this I said I had school run to do and they said it would be absolutely fine ,so when the engineer phone me and said he would be there in 15 mins and I explained that I was on school run ,he was rude,saying that he couldn't do that cause he had me booked in between 8-9 which I wasn't told that ,then finished the call he then rang me back saying well all I can do is go to another job then see if I can get to you !!!! I've been with this company awhile now and felt that maybe I should go somewhere else who can accommodate me with doing school run ,

Excellent service provided from point of telephone contact, to survey and quotation visit, to installation visit. Everyone very professional, willingly undertook additional requested work without any delays. Staff very pleasant and customer friendly, leaving everywhere clean. Have already recommended to one of our friends. As senior citizens we are quite happy to use again whenever needed.

Durhams did a complete bathroom refit for us including some structural work - very impressed with their workmanship, attention to detail and communication throughout. Reliability, honesty and integrity all the way through the process - not something you find everywhere these days.

We used Durhams after a recommendation and had our old electric system replaced to a new lpg combi boiler. Initially Scott the director came out to quote the work and he made me feel confident and comfortable from the get go that they would deliver exactly what we wanted. He was very friendly and went through everything with me and also didn’t upsell me items we didn’t need! When it came round to install day we had Rob and young lad called lewis who came and installed our system. These two are a real credit to durhams and made my partner and myself feel comfortable with them in our home. One touch we did really like was that Scott came with them on the initial visit and went through with them everything me and Scott discussed in the initial quote so they understood exactly what we wanted. Rob was a really friendly bloke with clearly years of experience as he knew exactly what was needed and how we could get the best out of our new system. Rob stated to us that he wouldn’t do anything in our house without asking us first and checking we was happy which was a really nice touch. Lewis the young lad was a real grafter and really polite and friendly also. They were easy to converse with and couldn’t have done more. Tom and Josh took out our bath and installed a wonderful walk-in Shower complete with grey wallboards covering the old tiles. They were very good workmen, polite, hard-working and good time-keepers, and a sense of humour. I thoroughly recommend Durhams

You may find cheaper however the price is fair as they have an excellent service with polite workmen that leave the place cleaner than when they arrived!, I found them quick to respond with queries. I wIll not use anyone else from now on.

Waking up on a Friday morning to a cold shower is unpleasant, the thought of waiting possibly weeks for a new immersion heater element even more so. Ha! Not if Charlotte's on the job. Talk about efficient! Less than two and a half hours after I spoke to Charlotte we had a new element fitted and working. Astounding service, highly recommended. Thanks all.

I used durhams heating a while ago to remove an old back boiler and install a new combi boiler, the men who came to do the work were absolutely fabulous, on time each day, very polite and really worked there socks off to get the job done. I would like to say that they are all a credit to the company, kept me informed about each step of the job and cleaned there mess up at the end of each day. We have used Durham's previously for a new boiler installation, central heating pipework upgrade and general services. On this occasion we had them install a new oil tank. All the work they have completed for us has been more than satisfactory. From the original call out to investigate, to the day of the job, they have always been prompt and efficient. The engineers are friendly and professional. We were always kept informed about any changes or problems that may have been encountered. Our oil tank installation was completed before lunchtime with an 8am start. All the waste and disruption was cleared away and left as it was found. We were more than happy with all their work, and will be more than happy to use them again.

We rang Durhams to enquire about a replacement boiler.......for a start......someone answered the phone!! That was a good start.... An appointment was arranged for someone to come an discuss our requirements.......Ben arrived on time and spent a while discussing the various options. We asked for some options, and were sent a detailed quotation with 3 options. We rang back and confirmed which option we wanted, and arranged a date for the work to be carried out......Rob and Jack arrived on time, and really got stuck in, the boiler was fitted and working by mid-afternoon. Scott then arrived at 4pm and carried out the final commissioning work, and registered the boiler to activate the 5 year guarantee, and explained the new timer/thermostat. From start to finish, the whole experience was really positive. Can't really pick any faults with the service.....and the price was really competitive too!! Thanks to all the team......we would happily recommend Durhams to anyone wanted quality work at a competitive price.

The service I engaged the company for was to repair and service a gas fire. On making the booking the lady that I spoke to was polite and friendly. I was able to book an engineer appointment within an acceptable time frame (non-urgent). The engineer arrived on time, was polite and considerate and observed Covid-19 rules. He explained everything that I needed to know in simple layman's terms and did the job efficiently. I cannot praise the company enough. Would 100% recommend.

Durham’s have previously installed a new hot water tank and boiler - both times I was extremely satisfied with their service. I now have them annually to service my boiler. This was booked in for February but I had a query on the pressure in my boiler so they popped in to take a look today. After topping up with a little water (showing me how) plus sorting out a radiator that didn’t work I was asked if I wanted my boiler servicing while they were here - saved a trip for them and a separate visit for me so I was very happy. From the efficiency of the call handling and appointment bookings, to the friendliness of the team who do the installations and services, I would highly recommend to anyone.

Fully installed bathroom We chose the products from Amcos and Durham’s installed. The whole experience from start to finish went exactly as planned. Scott project managed very professionally throughout. The diary was carried out with military precision. Everyone turned up on time, exactly as planned. Each stage was completed with experienced individuals, keeping us informed of the detail at each stage. All staff are friendly, respectful & polite. You are all a credit to your business!! **Your attention to detail is exemplary** We are totally happy with the end product. What we chose in Amcos is exactly what has been fitted. We have since had a water softener installed, again as a direct result of James in Amcos, and there will be some more work to be done very soon. If you want an electrical or plumbing job done, then to have no need to go any further than Amcos & Durhams. What a fantastic business partnership. We have used Durham's for a number of years for the servicing of our boiler and when the time came for a new system to be installed they seemed like the obvious choice! They have been exceptionally helpful and friendly (even clearing up after themselves!) and I would have no issues recommending them to anyone. We have also had our bathroom fitted by them and Tom's eye for detail is outstanding! I wouldn't ever look to use anyone else for heating or plumbing services!

From Ben coming out to complete a survey, Will and Brayden completing the job, to the ladies taking the phone calls, it's proven to be a really professional company.
