Once again this wonderful family business has delivered!! Not just the oil but the service I have come to expect and more to the point GET from them. Out of oil last night…. Oil delivered today!!! I was lucky as I turned off the electricity supply as soon as I knew I’d run out and then after my delivery I waited for a hour before turning it back on and then bleeding and restarting and…. Thank god it’s all on again. Don’t be like me and forget to check oil levels… done it three times now! So thank you thank you Rawlings once again. I can't praise Rawlings highly enough. I was badly let down by another supplier (Certas) and Rawlings sent an emergency delivery at a very fair price at 8:30pm that night. Great communication, going out of their way to help. So I signed up for the regular top-up service and wish I had done so four years ago instead of messing around with boiler juice etc. Thank you to all at Rawlings Fuels.

After two aborted deliveries to my father's house (elderly occupants over 86 years, one with dementia and one with heart issues, staying warm is key), I contacted Rawlings and spoke with Zoe. The issues were centred around access down a narrow lane. We had advised the previous supplier to use a 4 wheeler. First time they turned up with a 6-wheeler and had to abort. Second time they turned up a few days later with a 4-wheeler, the driver said the lane was too narrow because of the mirrors on the tanker. After to and fro with customer service, despite pointing out that neighbours have 4-wheel deliveries from other suppliers, we agreed they had no appetite or solution to help. Meantime, because of delivery delays the oil tank was now worryingly low during a cold spell when my parents were burning fuel quickly. When speaking with Zoe at Rawlings about midday, she was straight into solution mode, checked other deliveries to neighbours and confirmed they could access with a 4-wheeler but to be safe they would use their smallest vehicle (a van). She would check availability and arrange delivery asap. Bearing in mind deliveries often need a few days' notice, Ross (aka Action Man according to their website) arrived that same evening 5.30pm and delivered 900 litres. All through the delivery as he was orienting himself around the property to the tank, he was excellent communicating with me over the phone and then engaging on site with my father. Both Zoe and Ross were fantastic, solution minded with a no problem attitude, just wanting to help as part of the service. Thank you both, you were amazing! We will be using Rawlings moving forward!

Honestly I would not go to any other company for our home oil! Thank you yet again Rawlings for getting to us at such short notice! Wonderful service from start to finish. Always lovely to have a person at the end of the phone and normally the same friendly face on delivery. Can not fault their service. My husband has also had great experience through work. I never write reviews! But this company is worth it!

What a fabulous company- their customer service is truly second to none. They totally saved our Christmas this year by delivering oil to my elderly husband and I at extremely late notice on Sunday the 24th- Christmas Eve! We are a long-standing customers of over 40 years and have yet to have a poor experience with Rawlings. Their services have always been first class and we will continue to use this wonderful firm. Dear Rawlings team, Upon contact with Zoe, I received an immediate quotation for a supply of Domestic Heating Oil. I advised that the delivery could be problematic due to surrounding building work and limited access. She kindly agreed to a fixed date and provision of a suitably sized delivery tanker. Today, as asked, Rob, the driver, rang me just before arrival to ensure free access. He was accommodating, and the job was done within a few minutes. Nowadays, it seems rare to receive such excellent service from start to finish, and Rob assured me they have a great team that strives for customer satisfaction. This was undoubtedly the case. Bit of a different review here. I was recently riding my horse down a quiet single track road at 8.15am back to my horse's stables when I heard a Rawlings Fuel tanker coming up behind us. He slowed right down and maintained a safe distance until I could pull in to a gateway to let him pass safely. However, as he drew alongside me, he explained that he would be delivering further up the road and so if we let him pass, he would block our way as he would take up the width of the road! He suggested I carry on and he would stay a safe distance behind so as to not spook the horse. I am sure I must have messed up his delivery schedule because I was so slow but he went out of his way to be considerate to me, as a vulnerable road user. He was kind and thoughtful and put my safety ahead of his schedule. Huge thanks to him - you made my day.

Have had consistently good service from Rawlings over many years. Recently made the mistake of ordering from an apparently ‘cheaper’ supplier who promised much but literally failed to deliver, leaving me with an empty tank. Rawlings came to the rescue with a timely emergency delivery. Competitive pricing, friendly, helpful and - importantly - reliable.

I have used Rawlings for over 20 years. They always try to give me the best price on the day and deliver within a few days. They are a great company to deal with. I always try to support our local businesses as they are having tough times at present. They also do boiler servicing if you need it.

I have used Rawlings before and found them to be competitive on price and very friendly and helpful. Yesterday, they went above and beyond when we ran out of fuel due to a faulty gauge on the tank. With snow on the way I was very anxious but they delivered on the same day! I don't think anyone else would have pulled put all the stops like that. I can highly recommend Rawlings.

Brilliant service. I have bought oil from another distributor for 15 years but was let down with an order placed a month before Christmas- I couldn't even get through to discuss it with them on the phone, emails not replied to. I tried Rawlings and their customer service was brilliant- straight through, reassuring and helpful. I called in the afternoon of 21/12 and oil was delivered hassle free on the morning of 22/12 - 3 days before Christmas. I will be ordering from Rawlings from now on. Brilliant.

Spoke to a gentleman called Sam, who was really lovely to deal with, so friendly and helpful! Sam went out of his way to help me place an urgent order for heating oil and I am very grateful. We have used Rawlings for just over a year and cannot fault them. Will not use anyone else. Highly recommend.

Just moved to a new house with our 1st experience of oil fired heating. Typically we didn't get it checked out and it both ran out of fuel and broke down on the very 1st cold day this year. Called Rawlings at 830 and by 1030 had 1000L of oil in my very empty tank. However, afterwards had a secondary issue and was put in touch with Darren one of their engineers who talked me through the solution. Cannot say how much this was appreciated. Rawlings delivery and top-up service takes all the worry out of running short of oil - drivers are always happy and courteous. I always recommend them.

Ive just moved to the area into a house that's powered by oil. At the weekend I noticed I had none and as such had no hot water or heating!! On Monday I called RF and spoke to Darren who got some to me within 24 hours. That was impressive but it didn't stop there. I then realised my boiler had stopped and I still had no hot water or heating and no clue of how to fix it. I called some engineers who couldn't get to me for a few days. Disaster!! I thought Id call Darren and ask him for some plumber contacts which he sent me across within seconds. But after doing so we got talking and he offered to talk me through it via whattsapp video, in the evening, after he'd clocked off. Who does that? So I called him and he did exactly that, talk me through how to fix the boiler. Step by step. Result - I now have oil, hot water and heating and its all thanks to Darren @ RF. If I could give him 6*** I would but 5 will have to do. Thanks Darren your a star and I owe you one.

I was so pleased with the Rawlings experience and highly recommend them. Really friendly and helpful on the phone, they happily agreed to a smaller tank to accommodate my narrow gateway. Rob, todays delivery driver, was great and I felt very comfortable with him at my house. Their price was considerably cheaper than a well known national supplier and extremely competitive with 2 group style ordering systems but with the added benefit of a personal service plus a delivery 2 days after placing the order. I will definitely be using them again.

Service always excellent

Arranged for domestic/home oil delivery, very efficient service. Easy to order online, plenty of availability including short notice. Great communication via email and text. Delivery was quick and expertly undertaken. Had paid for a little more than was required for our tank and the difference was refunded the following day! Absolute star service, thank you!

Honestly In all my years I have never had so much difficulty trying to get some fuel. Phone calls back and forth stating available dates only for them to book me in on days I have told them there is no access. Not able to give me a day when I’m low on fuel. Customer service appalling. 1 star on this occasion but to be noted I have used theses multiple times in the past with no issue.

In the current economic climate i was struggling to find a supplier that could commit to a delivery. Having only ordered once before from Rawlings they said they could put me down as 'urgent' as i was running very low. 4 days later my delivery arrived, very friendly and helpful driver and a scary but expected invoice. When i called to pay they were very understanding and said i could pay in 2 instalments to make it easier for me financially. Hugely grateful and impressed that they were prepared to accommodate this.

Excellent service, very helpful staff. Cannot find fault here, I’ve used them for household oil deliveries and they’ve consistently been fantastic.

After phoning around numerous oil companies for a quote, I found that Rawlings were completely and 100% deserving of my business as they were not only the cheapest but the most helpful and efficient - the length of time it took with some other companies just to get a quote was most annoying and they couldn't guarantee a prompt delivery which of course Rawlings have done. So, I give Rawlings Fuels 10 out of 10 for everything (assuming that it will be delivered promptly as promised). Thank you.

A huge thank you to Rawlings Fuel… we were let down by another company and almost completely out of fuel. We have a baby and a child so was worried the house would be cold for weeks. Although they couldn’t promise our fuel would be here it came the next day. Super pleased and a huge thank you to the company and fantastic staff that helped us.

We recently urgently had to replace our oil tank, which meant we had no oil as a back up. Rawlings we’re absolutely brilliant and managed to deliver 800 litres within 36 hours of our distress call. We’d like to thank them for getting us out of a real problems with our heat and hot water. A Christmas miracle! I recently moved into a new house and come the 23rd December realised our oil had been completely used up. I was calling around hysterically trying to find a provider before Christmas with no luck -- no one was offering domestic deliveries this close to Christmas which meant no heating for Christmas. I called Rawlings (hope shattered by this point) and spoke to a lovely guy who went ABOVE AND BEYOND - he said he'd call me back after he'd spoken to his manager to see if he could make it work which he somehow managed to do. The next day, Christmas Eve morning at 8am our oil delivery was here. I can't begin to explain my gratitude! I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone. The best customer service I have ever received.

I would like to publicly thank Rawlings fuels for an amazing service last week!! I ran out of oil as my gauge was broken, nobody in the south could get to me for well over a week. I was ill with covid as was my daughter and i was desperate..they could tell amd moved mountains to get me a SAME DAY delivery. They were so lovely and so kind. Massive thanks, would highly recommend them to anyone in the Romsey area!!

Its such a shame, their service was impeccable until it wasn't. Their communication on business accounts and that over a certain volume, is poor to say the least. It was clearly a shock when you have not been properly informed. Basically , as a new business client, you should be informed correctly of any extra charges when ordering over a certain volume. We were told it was standard. I', afraid I don't know what standard is. So isn't it their duty to inform and assume clients are not aware of STANDARDS- basically 20% full VAT charge on volumes over 2300L. to be clear . Anyway, we work thru this dilemma, only for me to see my business is fully charged for something that should have been corrected. I call, speak with Tom, who was monosyllabic and rude. I was polite, as i recognise the day prior was heated. NO NO NO , it was rude Tom to the rescue. So disappointing. They have lost a potentially long term customer. Be aware everyone, that there are hidden charges that Rawlings don't always communicate if you are a business account.

Fantastic service today, came out within an hour to sort out my father's boiler as it was blowing out black smoke and the fumes were terrible this morning all sorted now thank you very much.

Outstanding, rapid and personable service. First order with Rawlings. Office support from Darren first class and we agreed a solution for an awkward delivery then, despite my failure to provide the agreed assistance in time, the driver unilaterally solved the problem, had made the delivery and was on his way before I even knew he was here. Unprompted, the driver even took care to avoid the wildflower patch in front of the oil tank. I very rarely give reviews but this level of service is rare and merits it.

The customer service experienced in my initial call to Rawlings was first class; followed up by an efficient and fast delivery resulting in my heating problem being solved. I've been using Rawlings for the last 20 years and they have never let me down. I ran out of fuel at the weekend and they were here the next day. They also came out a couple of years ago during thick snow. The office staff and drivers are all brilliant. Rudi has delivered here a few times and he is absolutely superb. Amazing service! We ordered oil for usual delivery, but timed it badly and the oil ran out first. Despite the Christmas rush, Rawlings immediately saw the emergency in having two old people without heating, and found a way to juggle things and got oil to us the same day. Great response, thanks Rawlings!

Rawlings Fuels have moved to a new purpose-built site nearby, although still trading from this address for a while longer. Their old site is being converted into housing (SEP 2019)

Just had another delivery from Rawlings and felt compelled to write a review as always so impressed with their customer service. The guys at the office are always incredibly friendly and flexible and try to accommodate you as much as possible making, everything so easy when you are running low. The delivery drivers are also always very pleasant. Cannot recommend Rawlings highly enough and often pass on their details. Prices are always very competitive too!

Tom and his team provide the most exceptional service, I ran out of fuel and called up a company called Prax Petroleum who are wholesalers but they kindly directed me towards Rawlings Fuels. Tom was very pleasant and extremely sympathetic towards my situation, I ran out of fuel in the cold month of February but they managed to get me a delivery within 24 hours. I have used them for all my deliveries ever since and they have definitely been the best oil company I've ever used.

We called Rawling's on recommendation, we had managed to burn through 1200 litres of oil in 3 weeks (new house and never had oil before) so called them desperate for a delivery asap. They were so accommodating and as a one off squeezed us in within 3 days. They were also 10p cheaper per litre than a large national company who had quoted us. We are so happy with the service so have signed up to their regular top up service to try and avoid running out again.

Exceptional service from these guys.Theyve always been friendly and helpful but when I ran out of fuel in thecoldest week of the year, I didn’t expect much sympathy. They quoted me a 5 day delivery but promised to mark it as urgent. Actually arrived within 24 hours. Great job.

Brilliant! After being messed around by Home Fuels Direct (working with Butlers) who said the tank was full but had looked in an overflow section and refused to fill up or come back out despite an engineer explaining there was no problem with the tank, we had been left with no oil, in winter with a 1 yr old and 3 yr old. Rawlings managed to fit us in next day unexpectedly (would have been after bank holiday weekend!). Plus the driver understood it was a bunded tank and it was the overflow. Yeay! Great service, very knowledgeable and reasonable price. Highly recommend and would use again.

I never leave reviews for anything but after my experience with Rawlings today I felt compelled. I called Rawlings at 7.45 this morning (Wednesday) after our heating oil ran out yesterday. I was given a quote and the man on the phone said I would receive my oil on Friday. I was content with this and said thank you, I then made a comment that we had actually ran out of oil and the man (I didn't catch his name but he was very friendly and helpful) explained that he would do what he could to get my delivery to me by tomorrow (Thursday). Even happier with that I came home at 5pm today to find that we had already had our delivery. Thank you very much to the team at Rawlings. We have always had our oil from you and will continue to.
