Clarks Gas Services have been to us twice now. And I have to say it is a first class service. Always keep you informed when to expect them.

Great service, from booking the appointment, to getting the repair done! All done efficiently, professionally & at a very reasonable cost!

Arguably the best customer experience I've ever had. Hit with one of the most stressful occurrences of a gas leak within an hour of moving into our new home, Clarke's were able to send someone over within the hour to fully check the issue and advise on next steps. The advice was incredibly customer friendly, and the issue was sorted in just over 24 hours. Everyone at Clarke's we met and interacted with were amazing. Thank you so much.

Fantastic service from start to finish. For 15 years we’ve lived with a cold house and only lukewarm radiators. Over the years we had several plumbers take a look. We were told our pipes were too narrow, so we had them refitted. We also had a boiler flush — but nothing seemed to fix the issue. Eventually we just gave up and struggled through every winter. Recently our boiler packed up (or so I thought), so we called Clarke’s Gas Services. They came out quickly, diagnosed the real problem — a faulty circulating pump and debris build-up in the system — and booked us in for a power flush. I honestly can’t believe the difference. Our radiators are now piping hot, and in all the years we’ve lived here they have never worked this efficiently. And today I also learned something new… A flush and a power flush are definitely not the same thing! Highly recommend. Professional, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful from start to finish.

I have been using Clarkes gas services for about a year. I have found their workforce friendly and professional across the board. They arrive promptly work hard and ensure I am happy with the outcome. While carrying out a power flush Ben identified a blocked pipe to a radiator and didn’t leave until the problem was resolved.

I am very happy and grateful for the service provided by Jack, Ben and Pete. It looked as though my 92 year old mother would be without central heating over Christmas, but Jack went above and beyond to source a new boiler and arranged for Ben and Pete to fit it on Christmas Eve. They then returned to flush the system on the 29th. Both Ben and Pete were courteous, respectful, kind and efficient throughout, which means a lot. I would have no hesitation in recommending Clarke's to anyone.

Clarke’s truly are our superhero’s! We had ongoing issues with our heating from recent building work. Our builders plumbers work was inadequate and very poor leaving us in dire straits. So we contacted Clarkes asking if they could help and if they would be willing to take on this nightmare. Thank fully they did! They never gave up on us and over a number of weeks and using various methods and processes of elimination they fixed it! The powerhouse that is Ben powered through, found the problem and conquered! The poor chap was on his knees but kept going and we can not thank him and the team enough. We have a hot, clean, working system and are truly grateful. Thanks guys! Especially Powerhouse Ben! 💪 🙏

A very professional service with a genuine assessment of our needs with clear recommendations. The friendly installation team worked very hard and took care not to disrupt the house and answered any questions, taking time to explain the procedures.

We had a new Tado thermostat installed on our central heating. The work was done professionally and James was helpful and friendly. As a whole the staff at Clarks Gas are always professional and accommodating. They were happy to delay the work by a number of weeks as I had been in hospital, and they were happy to fit in around my circumstances.

Another Boiler service done by the Gentlemen at Clarke's Gas Services. The plumbing side was great renewing an older part etc, but its not just that, its the all round organised service from in house to quote, job done invoice by return, of course. James Sibley, assisted by his apprentice, Pete did a diagnosis of my emergency leak problem and subsequently installed a replacement hot water cylinder. A very neat job which overcame some previous installation non-compliance. Thank you for good job!

Took afternoon off work as waiting for boiler service between 12-16.30. Received a phone call at 16.15 to say they would not be coming . Going back to British Gas ... maybe a bit more pricier but more reliable. Only positive was they called to let me know ... with 15 mins to spare

Following a stay in hospital I came home to find that I had no hot water. I called Clare who managed to arrange a visit for me the very next day. Engineer David arrived on time and soon had the problem fixed - can't ask for a better service - thank you

I have yet to use Clarke's, but I definitely will as Clare couldn't have been more helpful with a problem I had. She was very prepared to shift things round to get an engineer to me and it was much appreciated even though it wasn't necessary in the end.

A first rate experience with this company. They attended to fix a boiler breakdown the very next morning and from the first moment was fantastic. Arrived exactly when agreed, was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. All issues fixed and boiler repaired and serviced as well as additional remedial work identified if we wanted to do that at another time. Really happy with all aspects, communication, quality of the work and price. Thanks alot, we will certainly be using this company for all our future heating needs.

We first came across David 13 years ago when he was recommended by mutual friends. He serviced our old back boiler, (which it turned out was doing it's best to kill us), & we then engaged him to install a new boiler, all necessary pipework & radiators, in exchange for a combination of money & a LOT of Custard Creams. Since then, we have relied on the company to regularly service, & less-regularly repair, our boiler at a very monthly reasonable cost. As David's company has expanded, we have had different engineers attend, all of which have been exemplary & knowledgeable. As an example of the lengths the company goes to, our boiler,. (in the extension attic space), went offline when my disabled partner was alone at home, (I was in Scotland), & couldn't access the device. Clarke's sent an engineer from Faversham to Folkestone just to switch the boiler on & resolve the issue, THE SAME DAY they were contacted. You won't find better service than that. David recently came out to see us to fix an issue & to service the boiler; still the same great service & reasonable pricing. If you're in their catchment area, don't bother going elsewhere; these guys are at the top of their game. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service. The engineers kept us informed of the work they were doing throughout, and made suitable recommendations for work to be carried out at our next service. They were very tidy in their work and were not phased by our cats zooming around because there were 'strangers' in the house.

Clarke's Gas Services are amazing: they installed our combi-boiler about 11 years ago and have serviced it ever since. David, the owner, lives and breathes heating systems - ask him anything and he will know. His colleagues are also always professional, polite and on time. You will be in very good and competent hands.

Clarke's always stay in touch and give updates on core appointment times which is very useful and saves anyone wasting time.

Really awful experience with this company. Serviced boiler... after failing to turn up for first appointment, and left it with leaks. Also didn't clean out the Magnaclean filter as somehow between him and the previous guy who serviced it from the same company, the spanner had gone missing, but denied all knowledge. Engineer bad tempered and rude. Heating and hot water packed up 3 weeks after service due to failure to re-pressurise system. No hot water or heating end November! came out again and left me with jammed tap so I can't use it myself to re-pressurise system. Expensive rates too, for bad workmanship. David, please don't offer to discuss it with me as we've already had that discussion!

We have used Clarke's for boiler servicing for several years. David, the owner, also quickly identified the cause of a plumbing leak from an installation by another plumber. The gas engineers have all been polite and helpful and we are confident that the business provides the best care in this area.

Trustworthy, professional service would highly recommend. Came to my rescue after massive let down from Bgas and have used these ever since. Excellent communication from office with knowledgable engineers.

Great service, reliable, friendly

Clarkes were due today (Friday) 12 to 4.30pm to give me a quote for boiler service, new radiator and two thermostats needing adjustment. At 4pm I received a call cancelling due to the engineer dealing with a gas leak elsewhere. Whilst I accept these things happen this was booked on the 29th September, so having waited a month obviously I was not too happy on being told the next available day would be a further two weeks on the 10th November. Question: why was this job not the first on the list on Monday morning? It would seem I’d been put to the back of the queue. I therefore cancelled the entire thing.

I contacted CGS in July 2021. Survey scheduled for works in August 2021 (cancelled with only a few hours notice) due to them having to complete an emergency repair. Rescheduled to Sept 2021. Survey & Quote obtained in Sept. Agreed quote and attempted to schedule a date for installation in Oct. Was given option of Nov 21 or Jan 22 but was advised Nov date would likely be cancelled due to upcoming paternity leave. I agreed to January but did not hear back from them. Chased this by phone and email over the next few months, their only response was that they would get back to me. Never heard from them again. Got a (cheaper) quote and installation in much quicker time frame from a competitor. Absolute time wasters.

They serviced my boiler. A month later a catalogue of problems started. It took them five visits, a bill of £279 and I am left with a boiler that is still leaking that they are refusing to fix until I pay their invoice. I am giving up and using a different engineer. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I would like to say how fantastic and professional Adrian is as a plumber working for David Clarke and I have been telling all my friends and neighbours about how good he is at his job. I struggled for years with very poor heating and hot water which a previous company never sorted out properly. Now I have lots of heating and hot water and very efficient radiators . Adrian worked long hours beyond the call of duty on a number of occasions and responded to any concerns straight away. I have no hesitation in recommending Adrian and his boss David Clarke in the highest possible terms!

We have been using Clarke's Gas Services for some years and finally our 20 year plus boiler got the official condemned notice. I am full of admiration for Clarke's for (a) prompting me to have my boiler serviced before the weather turned cold - I would not have thought of it without the reminder - and (b) moving mountains in order to ensure I was only without hot water for a few days. They managed to allocate time to fit the new boiler as soon as it arrived and all is working splendidly now.
