Colne Heating is valued for friendly, reliable and professional boiler servicing, repairs and general plumbing work. Michael is regularly praised for diagnosing faults thoroughly, fixing problems promptly and explaining the work clearly, with customers also highlighting fair, transparent pricing and helpful advice on running their heating efficiently. One review mentions a last-minute cancellation with no follow-up, but the wider feedback describes a knowledgeable and reassuring local service.
Michael has diagnosed and saved my old Potterton gas boiler, replacing heat panels and sticky fan and gas valve, all in a helpful and professional way, he has also furnished me with a bit of boiler education. Thank you, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Michael delivered our annual boiler service. He diagnosed a serious fault that had been missed by previous engineer. Ordered part and fixed two days later. Excellent service, a true professional.
It’s unusual to find such a reliable friendly plumber but Michael from Colne heating is just that. A service was very reasonably priced and a fault was diagnosed and fixed swiftly. There was no over charging and for the work he completed it was incredibly reasonable and swiftly resolved. Great to find a local tradesperson. I can’t recommend him enough.
Michael has been doing my boiler service and repairs for a few years now . Always very helpful and takes time to explain things. Very knowledgeable on many heating systems and gives us best advice on how to run our system efficiently for cost and maintenance. On top of that he always does a good job , no hesitation in recommending.
Colne Heating, Michael, was a great service experience. I was recommended Michael by a family member after having a very poor experience from Glow Green who originally sold and fitted the new gas Boiler. Very helpful, great heating engineer who fixed everything on the same day. Now feel very lucky that we have Colne Heating and Michael to do the annual servicing and help whenever needed. Thanks.
He cancelled last minute and never got back in touch.
Great service & no rip off prices thoroughly recommend
Friendly and efficient boiler service - would recommend.
I would give 10 stars anytime. Highly recommend Colne Heating, If you want a professional heating engineer, use Colne Heating , Arrived on time, and serviced the boiler, even showed me how to use the remote timer correctly,, Haha all these years using it wrong and Michael put me right. Will recommend to all ,, and a good price too
Absolutely great service always! Boiler broken at 8am and repaired by 3pm. You couldn't get a better service and very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended :)
I had a clunking sound coming from somewhere in the house and thought it might be related to the boiler or heating system so called Michael, but as it was a bit nondescript, and I hadn’t a clue, he recommended keeping a diary of the sound which I did. In the meantime, I gave my friend Michael’s number as he had such great reviews and she needed her boiler serviced which he did in super quick time for a very good price. After being tired of being woken up in the early hours with the ‘clunk’, I called Michael again and he came on the same day to take a look. No problem with the boiler or heating diagnosed but Michael didn’t walk away and finally found the problem in the upstairs toilet where he repaired the dual flush outlet valve (it said this on the empty box, still haven’t a scooby), straight away. Result: no more clunking, hooray!!! Prompt professional service, would highly recommended. Thanks Michael.
Very fast, fixed our combo boiler problem in 20 minutes, reasonable, nice man, will use for annual boiler inspection from now on
Michael has serviced my boiler for the past 2 years and has also completed emergency repairs to a leaking hot water cylinder, coming out within 30 minutes of my call on a Saturday evening and just days before Christmas. Michael has also carried out general plumbing work for myself and my parents. He is very reliable, professional, knows his trade really well and has huge amounts of patience! He explains absolutely everything he is doing and I feel totally confident with him. Transparent pricing, excellent website, provides all the necessary paperwork during the visit and is a very pleasant, friendly and lovely person to deal with. Highly recommended (and have done to family and friends many times already). Thank you Michael.
Fixed my boiler very quickly. Would recommend. ++++++
Very helpful. Explained how my boiler worked so I knew what to look out for if it started playing up again. Gave his time and did not rush and have not had an issue with it since. It made a change to have a tradesman who took pride in his work.
Michael is very professional and always courteous. He has a lot of knowledge and is explaining all the bits in what he is doing, which is very assuring for a person who doesn't know. He is always doing the annual service for the gas boiler and all the other checks.
