It’s unusual to find such a reliable friendly plumber but Michael from Colne heating is just that. A service was very reasonably priced and a fault was diagnosed and fixed swiftly. There was no over charging and for the work he completed it was incredibly reasonable and swiftly resolved. Great to find a local tradesperson. I can’t recommend him enough.

Very knowledgeable on many heating systems and gives us best advice on how to run our system efficiently for cost and maintenance. On top of that he always does a good job , no hesitation in recommending.

Absolutely great service always! Boiler broken at 8am and repaired by 3pm. You couldn't get a better service and very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended :)
I had a clunking sound coming from somewhere in the house and thought it might be related to the boiler or heating system so called Michael, but as it was a bit nondescript, and I hadn’t a clue, he recommended keeping a diary of the sound which I did. In the meantime, I gave my friend Michael’s number as he had such great reviews and she needed her boiler serviced which he did in super quick time for a very good price. After being tired of being woken up in the early hours with the ‘clunk’, I called Michael again and he came on the same day to take a look. No problem with the boiler or heating diagnosed but Michael didn’t walk away and finally found the problem in the upstairs toilet where he repaired the dual flush outlet valve (it said this on the empty box, still haven’t a scooby), straight away. Result: no more clunking, hooray!!! Prompt professional service, would highly recommended. Thanks Michael.

Michael has serviced my boiler for the past 2 years and has also completed emergency repairs to a leaking hot water cylinder, coming out within 30 minutes of my call on a Saturday evening and just days before Christmas. Michael has also carried out general plumbing work for myself and my parents. He is very reliable, professional, knows his trade really well and has huge amounts of patience! He explains absolutely everything he is doing and I feel totally confident with him. Transparent pricing, excellent website, provides all the necessary paperwork during the visit and is a very pleasant, friendly and lovely person to deal with. Very helpful. Explained how my boiler worked so I knew what to look out for if it started playing up again. Gave his time and did not rush and have not had an issue with it since. It made a change to have a tradesman who took pride in his work.
Michael is very professional and always courteous. He has a lot of knowledge and is explaining all the bits in what he is doing, which is very assuring for a person who doesn't know. He is always doing the annual service for the gas boiler and all the other checks.
