I have to say I was very impressed, other companies had tried to overcharge my over a third or failed to get back to me and they kept to the original quote The plumber who carried out the job, a hot water cylinder replacement was both friendly and efficient including answering any enquires re use of the product I asked. I cannot recommend then highly enough and will be using them for future jobs.

Just did my boiler service 2nd time and disconnected a gas fire. Last year they found the values to be miles out for the boiler, did more investigating, came back, and pulled a vineyard's worth of grape vines out of the flue, clearly previous owners trimmed it off the wall but didn't deal with the boiler. Fair prices, always stuck to the quotes, showed up on time, left the house tidy, absolutely bang on, would book again for anything else I need.

Outstanding service. They came promptly to look at a leaking toilet. They quickly diagnosed the problem, made a workable patch to stop the leak, and then came back later to replace the defective part. Now the toilet works much better than before the leak! They were true to their quotes, kept us informed, and showed real professionalism.

I would hugely recommend RHS for any plumbing needs. The communication and booking process with Emma was smooth and helpful and she put us in contact with Zack, who installed our dishwasher and was absolutely fantastic. It was by no means a straight-forward installation, involving moving pipework, the stopcock and drilling into concrete, which meant we had really struggled to find a plumber willing to do this for us, but Zack was brilliant and clearly understood what needed to be done and got on with it. He finished the job in a timely manner and was really friendly and helpful. We have since used Zack again for replacing a few taps and will definitely use RHS again!

The engineers and plumbers are very friendly, knowledgable and thorough when they attend. They're also really personable and will explain how things work or how to avoid certain things. I highly rate them :).

I've been using RHS as my go-to plumbing company since I moved into my house in late 2023. They do my annual boiler service and have also been a fabulous help in getting my boiler/hot water tank system up to standard. On the first boiler service just after I moved into the property, they identified an additional (dangerous) issue with the pipework at my hot water tank which wasn't under the scope of the service but it was very kindly brought to my attention and quickly resolved which gave me great peace of mind. After a visit from a Worcester Bosch engineer to fix an under-warranty fault in 2025 there was also another issue identified with the overrun which RHS were very helpful to come out and fix as well. They're very reasonably priced and have not changed price for standard services over the couple of years I've been using them, which with the current cost-of-living situation they very easily could have taken advantage of. All the engineers I've had visit have been very respectful of myself and my home, and have also been very kind in explaining anything I've asked about. I will be using RHS for as long as I'm living in Reading.

After our boiler broke down, we contacted Joe from Reading Heating Solutions who was able to quickly come and install a new boiler for us. The area was left in a very neat condition with no mess left behind and the workmanship was very professional. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs any plumbing or heating work done.

Our boiler didn’t work and we have to call for an emergency call out, they charged us £400 and another £400 if we want to do the annual service. Then we found Reading Heating Solutions. They did the annual service for us within 3 days and charged a reasonable price! Professional and reliable company to work with!

I used this company twice specifically because they advertise "24/7 emergency help." Based on two separate incidents involving leaks, this service is unreliable, and the advertising clearly misrepresents their response capability. I understand that immediate attendance is not always feasible. However, the expectation for an emergency service is to provide immediate professional acknowledgment and a firm commitment to attend. On both occasions, this was not the case. Incident 1 & Engineer's Warning: After the initial leak, the engineer attended and advised me to "keep an eye on" the leaking fixture, suggesting it might be alright. Incident 2 (Current Leak - Failure to Follow Through): The fixture is now actively leaking water through the ceiling. The failure to help is repeated, but this time, the engineer had prior knowledge of the issue's potential. Despite this, he was evasive, providing poor communication, deflecting responsibility, and insisting I wait until Monday or pay an additional, separate callout fee. This pattern demonstrates a lack of commitment to the service they promote and a failure to address a known risk. If you require reliable emergency assistance, I advise looking elsewhere. I will not be using this company again due to the unprofessional communication and unacceptable response times during crises.

Joe and his team have always provide a brilliant service; from replacement of a leaking, aging boiler, annual service of the boiler through to changing radiator pipe work and most recently diagnosing and repairing of valve issues. All work completed in a timely manner, cleanly and very efficiently. Highly recommended.

I recently had an issue with my heating as it wasn’t coming on and my hot water wasn’t working either. I called RHS and they sent someone round the same day. Joe came out and diagnosed the problem then got it sorted without any fuss and sorted it within the hour. Had an emergency plumbing issue over the weekend and called these guys as they advertised 24/7 help. Despite not living in Reading, Joe was at my property within an hour of calling and quickly resolved my issue. Reliable, great value for money and professional. After a really bad experience with another company that let us down, Reading Heating Solutions came through for us. We had 6 radiators and a towel rail replaced, and they also replaced a boiler part. Very happy with the service received!

Arrived on time, very professional, reasonably priced and work completed as requested. The repaired and replaced parts in the toilet cistern and replaced our bathroom sink taps, and also tidied up and replaced some of the aging pipework in the bathroom. Highly recommend them

Reading Heating Solutions installed a radiator for us at short notice and to a high standard.

Having selected this Company via Checkatrade they contacted me regarding the replacement of a radiator. After sending photos I received a quick response with a competitive quotation. Once accepted they arranged for the job to be undertaken. The two people who undertook the removal and installation were very polite and professional doing a good job without any mess.
