3.3

Customer feedback for R Vernon Windows and Conservatories is sharply divided. Some homeowners praise the competitive pricing, polite showroom staff, and tidy, high-standard installations of windows, French doors, and bespoke conservatories. However, a significant number of clients report severe issues with poor workmanship, including draughty or incorrectly sized frames, property damage during fitting, and water ingress. Repeated complaints also focus on unhelpful customer service and long struggles to get post-installation faults investigated or rectified.

Do NOT use this company. Had bifolds put in and a unit failed after two years. We have been waiting 18months now for someone to come out and just look at it!! We’ve been fobbed off with all sorts of excuses and eventually when we did get a date they just didn’t turn up. The 10year guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on. Steer well clear

Just recently found out that Ultimate windows have fitted our windows incorrectly by a tradesman that has been to our property, he pointed it out to us, they have fit the wrong sized frames. Also this is not the first thing we have had with the windows...after having them fitted the window fitters broke the tiles on one of our window seals outside, didn't know until after they had finished and gone they had cracked nearly every single one, bedroom has had bad condensation ever since having them fitted, response from the receptionist who i spoke to.....not our problem, she was rude and abrupt. AVOID THIS COMPANY! I am going to seek advice on trying to get compensation back for what we paid as with now finding out they fitted them incorrectly and are not even the right size!

I read the reviews and I was nervous but this company does not deserve the bad reviews. We visited the show room and were treated very well. They visited the property multiple times before fitting the windows. The window fitters that arrived were courteous, clean and respectful and completed the job to a high standard. I will recommend Ultimate Windows and use again if needed.

AVOIDE THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE Updated 4th Sept 2023, decorating my daughters bedroom, the trims were loose so had to replace them, the gaps around the window was a joke, used a full bottle of expanding foam to fill the gaps. Do not use this place. Read the history below. we got windows and doors fitted 2 years ago and since having them done we have had draughts in the front room and bedroom (both large bay windows), the kitchen has been freezing and if I am stood in the passage when traffic drives past it sounds like the front door is open. When they were getting fitted, the side window didn't fit and had to be trimmed down to fit and the interior plaster was damaged with forcing the frame in to place and repaired by using silicon and pushing the plaster lump back in place to stick it back up again, then the unit should have been toughened glass but wasn't and had to wait till they got a replacement for it, the second day a 2nd van pulled up to get it finished and rushed the job so much 1 window had to be removed days later and put straight and it was like a huge rush job to get it finished in 2 days I have had them out twice over the last 2 winters. the first time 1 door hinge was changed and areas were sealed with silicon that were missed when being fitted (under the front and back door sills and under some window sills) then this year I called them out again and all 3 hinges were replaced on the front door again and further checks around the windows but no draughts found. This week I decided to lay new flooring in the passage and kitchen and also tile the kitchen walls and when i removed the trims around the door I had 3/4 inch gaps around the frame unsealed and could put a screwdriver through and touch the outside silicon trim, also the door didn't meet the floor and was left with a 1 inch wide and 1.5 inch deep gap when the wind was coming in. I have sealed these with expanding foam and re trimmed it all up, checked the front door and the same was found there as well. going to check all interior trims this month on the windows to see what else has been missed. I wouldn't recommend them at all, we have constant draughts for 2 years so god knows how much we have lost in heating costs
