DWS sorted out a couple of small problems satisfactorily and we decided to use them to redesign our windows. They repaced 64 panes of double glazed units with top quality glass. The original surveys went well and on the two days of fitting the work was done efficiently and effectively: with the minimum of disruption. After implementation tidying up was excellent. They are friendly, pleasant people who have done a fine job at a fair price. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for replacement windows etc.

Had all our windows and doors replaced by GWS. Good, honest, reasonable and professional fitting. When needed a tweak or two it was no problem. I thoroughly recommend them.
Rang GWS at 10am this morning, my elderly mother had trouble with the double glazed door handle. Chaps came to the house at 2pm on the same day fixed it. Wonderful service would highly recommend.
Had a leak problem with a conservatory roof and gutter. GWS recommended replacing the roof with a felted flat roof which they fitted on a turnkey basis. Absolutely delighted with the survey, the proposal, the speed with which the work was carried out and the total professionalism shown through all stages of the process. Hats off to Matt and his team for a job well done!!
We had our whole house of windows and doors supplied and installed by the wonderful G.W.S team. From start to finish, from the office staff to the fitting team, they are polite, helpful and they generally care about you and also your property. After this was completed, which we were so happy with, we then decided to have an extension built by them which again to no surprise they went above and beyond for us and we are so very delighted with our property projects completed by GWS. I cannot fault them all, their services and workmanship. I would highly, with out a doubt recommend them to anyone. We've had friends and family complaint our new windows, doors and extension. Thank you and well done GWS you should be very proud! We are so glad we chose you because nothing was too much.
Update. After the initial problem G.W.S. took ownership of the problem and have fixed the initial issue. They couldn’t have been more apologetic for the actions of the of their fitter and his attitude. Very grateful for the personal call and apology. Shows that customer service is very important for them. So far not impressed. New slight leaked at the first heave downpour. Clear daylight seen at joins. When reported took them a week to get out. Shoved some silicone in as said it was fixed. When I pointed out this was a temporary solution they got cross. Fitter said he needed to speak to manager as a week later after not nearing anything I rang the company. Fitter never mentioned it to the manager. Still no solution. Will update if I hear back.
The mechanism on one of our windows had stopped working, and although we could close it, we couldn't secure it. It turned out to be the handle. Matt fixed it in within 10 minutes and wouldn't accept payment. Fantastic service. We've used GWS in the past and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
The front door of my porch was blown clean off its hinges by a very strong wind and could not be repaired. I called a few double glazing companies, but none of them could help at all before Christmas, however when I called GWS and explained the problem, despite being really busy, Andy said he would come round in an hour to see what could be done. He arrived precisely one hour later, and realising the door was dangerous as it could fall off and seriously injure someone, he immediately removed it and said he would dispose of it for us. He took measurements and told us he’d call to let me know if and when he could fit a new one. Within 20 minutes of leaving, he phoned and told me that miraculously there was a suitable unit on site that would fit, and that he could do it that day. He quoted me an excellent price which I immediately agreed to, and he said he would be back in an hour to fit the door. True to his word, he arrived an hour later and quickly and efficiently fitted the door, leaving absolutely no mess whatsoever. It looks so good that I’ve already had several compliments, and it’s also made the house a lot warmer too. Andy is our hero, and we can’t thank him enough not only for his outstanding work, but also for his kindness and effort in our moment of need. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him as highly as possible, and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else in the future. If there were more people in the world like Andy, it would be a much nicer place. Thanks again Andy, you’re the best!
This company go above and beyond, I am always having to get the guys out to jobs for our company and they never keep us waiting always turn up when they are supposed to and are just the loveliest people 🙂 and amazing value for money

What a pleasure to find a company which provides such an excellent service, arrives on time, understands the need and gets the job done to a really high standard with superb after care... what can we say. Absolutely delighted with my recently built conservatory/ garden room. Cannot recommend GWS highly enough. The quality of the workmanship, the reliability of the team always turning up when they said they would and the personal touch. One of the directors came on site at the end of almost everyday to make sure that things were going smoothly and that I was happy with everything. Called these guys this morning when I couldn't get a window on my flat to close. They couldn't have been greater - they were out within a couple of hours, (and I'd called just before lunch) and although the window ultimately will need replacing, they freed up the mechanisms and got it into a usable state. They didn't charge the earth, and they were so friendly and chatty. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again, and I will definitely be asking them to quote on my new windows when the time comes!
We have just had a marvellous conservatory fitted on to our old balcony that we never used.Mat, Andy and Drew were the family team that did all the work. Their work is first class, nothing is too much trouble for them, I can highly recommend them, you will have no worries when you use this friendly firm.
