Square Deal Windows Home Improvements

Great job fitting a new back door. Efficient pleasant team. Recommended

We used Square Deal to get new windows and a patio door fitted previously. Communication with Maurice was clear, and the tradespeople that fitted the windows and patio doors were friendly, polite and left the place immaculate after finishing their work. I would definitely recommend, and would use their services again.

Not a good experience! Would only send out Fensa certificate if we sent him a good review. Took a large deposit before doing any work! Would not use ever again don’t like being coerced into something that should by law be sent out anyway!

As long standing customers since 2009 we have received excellent service over the years throughout each stage of the work carried out on our property. We would highly recommend Square Deal Windows and Conservatories. The Ralph Family

I have been a repeat customer of Square Deal for over 25 years, and I highly recommend them. All the work they have carried has always been faultless and the most recent window installation was no exception. They are always happy to help and their staff are polite and friendly. The work is always carried out within the timelines set out in the initial order and you are always kept informed.

Once again another great job from Maurice and his team, this was a replacement unit fitted without fuss and no mess. I would definitely reccomend Square Deal Windows, whether it's a small job like this one, or a full house window replacement. Myself and my parents have been using Square Deal Windows for years now and have never been dissapointed

Front door installed last year in a tidy and professional manner would highly recommend and use again.

We had a new door and window put in the porch. The care taken with fitting was fantastic.Everything we asked for was done to a high standard. Would highly recommend Square Deal Windows and will use them again

The handle & lock on our porch door had become stiff & wouldn't lock so I contacted Maurice at Square Deal who had fitted the door a few years ago. One of their fitters came out the next day & got is sorted for us & no charge & very friendly & polite too. As always very happy with the service we received.

Square Deal Windows replaced our Front Door and Toplight a few years ago. We were very impressed with the quality of the door and the service we received from this friendly family team. We are now having some more work done and are very satisfied with the price quoted and the service received so far. We thoroughly recommend.

The team at Square Deal Windows made a fantatsic update to my house with the change of bow windows to tilt and turn as well as a new fantastic Composite door. All expertly fitted and finished. The product they fit is very very good quality and good value for money.

Square Deal Windows was first recommended to me by a friend after I had been let down by a national company. I was very happy with the first installation in my living room. I have recently had four more windows fitted, two upstairs and two down. When the men come to measure up they are polite and friendly and are able to answer all my questions and give advice. The installation was stress free, the men work steadily and methodically, they take away all the rubbish and leave the rooms clean and tidy. I trust them in my house and can leave while they work with no worries. I will be using the company again next year.

This firm is reliable and helpful. We have used them several times over the past few years and always been very pleased with the service and the quality of work. The recent job was a repair to an exterior door, the work was carried out exactly at the time we were quoted, and it’s a very good job - done efficiently and cleanly. I would recommend Square Deal Windows as a reliable and competent, friendly and helpful firm

We have used Square Deal Windows several times over the past few years and always been very pleased with the service we received. The most recent job to fix a door closing problem was dealt with efficiently and well. The job was done very well and exactly on time. I would certainly recommend this company and will use them again for any future work.

Excellent service from initial contact to installation. Excellent windows.

Maurice and his team were excellent! He quotes a new front door and toplight. The quality of the product is excellent, the installation was quick and mess free, the finish of the work was fantastic, we are really impressed. Dan also visited to make a minor adjustment to the door after installation. The lead time for the door was a little long but definitely worth the wait, Maurice listened to our requirements and was a delight to deal with. We will be back for other window upgrades on our house!

Very good service, I had a slipped pane of glass on a conservatory roof, Maurice explained everything to me how the work would be completed, we had a few delays with the weather but as soon as they found a suitable day and time the team carried out the work very efficiently and to the price agreed, would recommend Square deal windows again.

Very happy with the doors and can't fault the work done on the installation at all. Would highly recommend!

Brilliant service from start to finish. From the initial quote to measurement to installation, no faults and the windows are to a high quality as the workmanship during the installation. No faults and would recommend to anyone.

An excellent company, speedy, efficient, and courteous. As a landlord, these points are critical. Highly recommended.

I've just had new sliding doors fitted at my first floor flat & they look amazing! Being on the first floor, it did create a problem of getting the surround in place because of a juliette balcony & narrow corridors to carry it through but it wasn't a problem for Square Deal Windows as the surround was custom made in sections & fitted in situ. The work was carried out professionally & everything was left clean & the curtains put back in place. Great communication from ordering to completion. Highly recommended 👌

Another fine job by Square Deal. We had two windows and the front door replaced. The work was completed in a very timely manner with the installation team leaving everything clean and tidy on completion. The door colour was exactly as requested along with all the door furniture. A very nice job.

A real family run business thats been around for years! A quality product and a top quality installation.

Good quality window not the cheapest

The work was carried out effiently and quietly The workman was polite and cleaned up well

Was a very professional service from start to finish. Dan & Matt did a first class job of replacing our door and windows. Very pleased with the result.

Excellent service provided by Square Deal Windows. Always a good experience provided by your company. Nothing it seems is ever to much trouble. Look forward to dealing with you in the near future. Many thanks A.C.Riley

Rotten window sill taken out and replaced then covered with uvpc. Matt did a brilliant job, very pleased

I had a great experience with Square Deal Windows in Portsmouth. From start to finish, their team was honest, professional, and incredibly friendly. The personal service they provided really stood out - they took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt confident throughout the process. The installation of the glass was quick and efficient, and the final result looks fantastic. You can really tell they take pride in their work. I highly recommend Square Deal Windows to anyone looking for quality workmanship and top-notch service.

It has been a pleasure dealing with Square Deal Windows. My job was well done and even the Estate Agent Martin & Co commented and reported that they had done a good job. I will definitely use Square Deal Windows again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable contractor.

This is the second large window bought from Square Deal Windows. We are thrilled with the quality - also there were several price options available and came with FENSA guarantee. Customer service was first class and everything was left very clean on completion. We would definitely use this company again.

A Family business recommended to me and they didn't disappoint! Very smart 2 top floor windows fitted with no fuss and very Tidy. As a family business would be, all the staff are very polite and accommodating as well as giving good aftersales 2 year later when I was trying to find the FENSA certificate for selling the house. Won't hesitate to call them 1st again when we are next after some work doing. :)

Rang them several times, they promised someone would contact me to discuss the job but no one did. Waste of time.

This is the second time I've used this company. Both times the level of service has been great from quotation to installation. Great quality windows and doors.

I am very happy with the work completed by the team at Square Deal Windows. My job included the replacement of the existing front bedroom two windows and the mid rear window, retaining the box sash subframes, linings, architraves and inside bottom window sills. The work was completed to a very high standard and they were very clean and tidy when installing. You really get a personal touch from this company and they made everything so easy. Highly recommend and I will be using them again very soon. 14161

Shocking company. Charged me £2650 for one velux window and I've been waiting 3 months for the scaffolding to be removed and only reason i am being given is scaffholding provider went bust. My order reference was 15171. I've managed to change 3 of the same windows afterwards for the same price with a different company. Would not recommend this company at all. Dreadful service, communication and extremely overpriced. Avoid at all costs to save yourself from a nightmare.

Maurice and his team have been lovely. We have the brightest yellow door in our street now and it’s exactly as we wanted. It’s a good vibe seeing it vibrant. They also added another door so it’s warmer in winter. Thank you for the excellent work

Great service and very quick. Maurice took care of our case grandly, and lock was changed in a blink of an eye. Totally recommended.

Excellent product and service! Maurice and his team were informative and approachable from the start. During the job we wanted more work done than originally quoted and the team were happy to accommodate. We are so happy with the finish of our front door and windows. Thank you!

Maurice and his team replaced our window handles, front door handles, lock and letterbox in shiny chrome. The end result is extremely smart, but more importantly the work was completed quickly and tidily and to a very high standard. We have used Square Deal Windows for the last 8 years because they install quality products with skill and the after sales support and the work guarantee is second to none. We have had bi-fold doors with integrated blinds, large windows, velux windows, French doors and replacement locks and handles fitted in 2 different homes in Portsmouth. We would never look anywhere else for this work. I can’t recommend Maurice and his team highly enough.

Third time I have used square deal and yet again they have done a fabulous job. From start to finish a stress free experience (for me) and the newly painted house and front door looks great. Clean, tidy, work hard and do a great job what more could you want. Very pleased.

Very helpful company, friendly, excellent communication throughout. Windows replaced efficiently and without fuss or mess. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant from start to finish!! Maurice and team were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend and will definitely use them again.

Difficult to say how good their work is because I've asked for two separate quotes over the past two years and noone has bothered to respond to my requests.

Friendly staff, good quality products.

Recently had another job completed by square deal windows. High quality products installed quickly and without mess. Competitive pricing. Very good customer service. I would highly recommend this company.

Maurice and the team provide an excellent service from coming around to talk about different options right through to the final installation. Quotes are transparent and clearly explained with no hidden extras. Communication is always prompt and professional. The quality of the final product is excellent. I would highly recommend Square Deal Windows!

Excellent service from these guys fast n efficient, literally phoned n they sorted my hinges on attic window and also they checked over my bathroom handle which hasn’t locked for yrs all on the same day, will recommend these guys all day long 👍

Recently had new windows and rear door installed. They’re absolutely brilliant and exactly the sort of upgrade I wanted. The whole process was brilliant, great recommendations from the sales team and the installers were perfect gentlemen when on site. The installation and finish is flawless and looks rock solid. I also had some remedial work done to an existing window that wouldn’t open which functions perfectly! So happy with the result at a great price. Will definitely use again in future when other windows need replacing.

I can highly recommend Square Deals Windows. From my first enquiry to the finished result Maurice was very helpful, explaining everything and advising me. I will be using them again should I need to

I’ve now used square deal a couple of times. Maurice and the team are complete professionals fitting windows and doors! They are very clear from the outset what is to be delivered and installation is perfect. They’ve also resolved issues with a poorly fitted (from a 3rd party) door for me. The lead times for supplying new windows was perhaps longer than I might have expected however Maurice made this clear when ordering. Very happy with the service overall and will be using again! Thanks 🙏

They were organized through our landlord, and sometimes as tenants we can get treated as second class customers but that isn't the case with these guys. Maurice was very communicative, and the guys who came to replace our window were very friendly and efficient. Would recommend them and use in the future.

Excellent service from Maurice Matt and team. Love my new window which was fitted AHEAD of time.

Excellent job, very happy with installation. Fitters we’re professional and reliable.

We had a new front door from Square Deal and are so pleased with the results. All costs were clear up front, the door looks fantastic and the installation process went really smoothly. I couldn't fault a thing and will definitely use Square Deal Windows for future work on my house

I hired Square Deal in Southsea Portsmouth on the recommendation of a flat letting agent and am very satisfied with the replacement of two Velux roof windows in a flat that is in an older listed multi unit building. The vendor was careful to look after the tenants and neighbours as the work was done while let. This was a tricky fifth floor job and I would highly recommend Maurice and his team at Square Deal for any window work.

Square Deal Windows were professional and efficient. All appointments were kept and on time. Once work was started all 3 windows were completed in 2 days. Fitters were friendly and tidied up after themselves! Very pleased with the windows!

It was easy to organise what I wanted, how much I would pay and when installment would happen and when I contacted them, there was always a quick reply. They were respectful of my home and ensured they left the area tidy on completing, including taking all waste with them.

Great service and communication from Maurice and the team. I was kept informed every step of the way and even with a slight delay, they let me know exactly when they'd be able to come and even came the day before to take a look so they could make sure they'd have all the parts needed to fix our window. Would recommend!

On the upside: WIndows are good quality, fitters are polite, tidy and do a good job. On the downside: They are very quick to take deposits, but slow to do the work. We waited from August 22 to February 23 to get the window fitted when the original estimated installation date was Nov 22. Whilst this was blamed on their supplier, the communication could have been better handled - if I had not chased it, I wonder if we would still be waiting? On balance, I would not recommend them.

Great family run business, we had a kitchen window replaced, it was done in a timely fashion, the installer was clean, tidy and polite. Window looks great and we’ll definitely use for a future project.

We recently contacted Square Deal Windows to replace a rear door and surrounds. We were given a clear idea of what was involved, and various cost options depending on the specification of the door. Everything was completed within the quoted time, and we are peased with the quality of the work. Maurice was easy to deal with, and very thorough.

Like a good pint of Guinness it is well worth waiting for. Square Deal Windows kept in contact throughout the process including installation. A highly recommended company. The installers were so clean with no fuss tidying up afterwards. We now have beautiful Pellini blinds giving us better control over the light in our kitchen. The service was so good we have put in another order...

I recently used their services to install 3 windows and 2 sliding doors in our house. The communication with them from the very beginning was very good and thorough. They put a lot of emphasis on the design and paperwork stage, so there aren't any unexcepted surprises or problems down the line. The work took 3 days to compete and the finishing was amazing. I believe they left the house even cleaner than it was before! We already noticed the different in our insulation within hours from them leaving as I was able to put my thermostat a couple of degrees down and still be comfortable in the house. I would be more than happy to recommend their services to anyone or even be a reference for their quality of work.

A high quality, thorough service with real attention to detail. Square Deal installed triple glazed replacement windows together with a porch and entrance system at our Southsea home. The results are first rate. Square deal listened carefully to our requirements and talked through options with us drawing on their years of experience to advise on what configuration would work best. The installation was quick, professional and thorough. The result is excellent making a real difference to both the appearance and value of our home. Very highly recommended.

Recommended this company by a friend and in a month I used them twice - both times they were simply superb. First time was to replace a blown window & the 2nd time They fixed 2 handles on my double glazed windows. Very professional, friendly & able to accommodate my tight timelines and the quality was great. Maurice was super helpful, gave useful advice and kept me updated throughout the process from start to finish. Really happy I went with this local company and I would highly recommend them to anyone deciding on new windows or anything windows related.

Repeat customer, had our front & side windows replaced, top & bottom, excellent quality of work, fitters were polite, friendly, professional & cleaned as they worked. No redecoration needed after work completed. Would definitely recommend & use again.

Not so cheap

Maurice and team are great! Quick to help with problem and only company to get back to us and arrive at business premises to measure our panel within the same day. Maurice’s team then arrived a week later to fix panel, They were super quick and within half an hour everything was done and tidied away with our disturbing our business running. Maurice also personally called our business to check we were happy and that work was carried out to our standards couldn’t fault them at all! Would highly recommend. Thank you again!

Well stocked place

Excellent customer service from Maurice & his amazing team I have used Squaredeal windows for many years and would definitely recommend them for quality and attention to detail, Thank you 👍👍🏠

Excellent can't wait to get my new front door update door is now fitted and must say that the team down at square deal window perform brilliant a really big thank you to Maurice and he's team very clean and tidy no mess they wore shoe cover over there work boot and cleared away everything when they left I can't recommend them highly enough the wife and myself are over the moon thank again to Matt James Maurice and the rest of the team for everything

I called late Friday to say my front door handle was broken. James came around on Monday evening to look at the job. Then I got a call from Maurice on Friday to say they had the part. The lads came late on Friday to fix the handle and were done in under ten minutes! All this after I'd dithered over getting the job done for 3-4 weeks, because I thought it might mean a hefty bill replacing the door mechanism!
