I first had windows installed by Square Deal Windows in 1998 and they are still working well but I decided it’s time for an upgrade, I have spoken to Maurice about their products and services and I decided to choose the laminate acoustic glass to reduce noise as I live on a busy secondary road and the difference is like night and day not only is the noise reduced but the room is warmer too! The installers did a first class job fitting the windows and left the room clean after installing, I would recommend Square Deal Windows to anyone wanting new or replacement windows that will last for years!
I have used this Family run business for many years but had cause recently to call them for urgent help for an elderly relative who lived nearby their Offices but miles from myself. Although it was evening when I left a message on the Office Phone, plus the Office was not officially open the following day, this Company immediately responded one of the Family were at the elderly persons home at 7.30am the following morning- they had the safety lock entrance details, they let themselves in made the Property safe and were gone before the elderly relative even got up! Not many Companies would have responded in this way, quickly, efficiently and without even estimating the costing. A Family owned and run Company who respond to emergencies. They knew me and trusted that I’d pay them they responded to this emergency and my elderly relative’s home was made safe immediately I called for help. Many many thanks to them.
Third time we have used this company I’m pleased with the work the quality of products they use and the brilliant service they give I can not give them higher praise. The work is cleanly carried out by very experienced staff love my new door in to the garden
Maurice and his team fitted windows in my previous house a few years ago. They were quick, efficient, tidy and to the highest quality. Maurice himself is extremely professional and courteous in his communication, reminiscent of the traditional department store manner. An honest business and sales gentleman. I will be using them again!
We used Square Deal to get new windows and a patio door fitted previously. Communication with Maurice was clear, and the tradespeople that fitted the windows and patio doors were friendly, polite and left the place immaculate after finishing their work. I would definitely recommend, and would use their services again.
Not a good experience! Would only send out Fensa certificate if we sent him a good review. Took a large deposit before doing any work! Would not use ever again don’t like being coerced into something that should by law be sent out anyway!

The handle & lock on our porch door had become stiff & wouldn't lock so I contacted Maurice at Square Deal who had fitted the door a few years ago. One of their fitters came out the next day & got is sorted for us & no charge & very friendly & polite too. As always very happy with the service we received.

The team at Square Deal Windows made a fantatsic update to my house with the change of bow windows to tilt and turn as well as a new fantastic Composite door. All expertly fitted and finished. The product they fit is very very good quality and good value for money.
Square Deal Windows was first recommended to me by a friend after I had been let down by a national company. I was very happy with the first installation in my living room. I have recently had four more windows fitted, two upstairs and two down. When the men come to measure up they are polite and friendly and are able to answer all my questions and give advice. The installation was stress free, the men work steadily and methodically, they take away all the rubbish and leave the rooms clean and tidy. I trust them in my house and can leave while they work with no worries. I will be using the company again next year.

Maurice and his team were excellent! He quotes a new front door and toplight. The quality of the product is excellent, the installation was quick and mess free, the finish of the work was fantastic, we are really impressed. Dan also visited to make a minor adjustment to the door after installation. The lead time for the door was a little long but definitely worth the wait, Maurice listened to our requirements and was a delight to deal with. We will be back for other window upgrades on our house!
Very good service, I had a slipped pane of glass on a conservatory roof, Maurice explained everything to me how the work would be completed, we had a few delays with the weather but as soon as they found a suitable day and time the team carried out the work very efficiently and to the price agreed, would recommend Square deal windows again.

I've just had new sliding doors fitted at my first floor flat & they look amazing! Being on the first floor, it did create a problem of getting the surround in place because of a juliette balcony & narrow corridors to carry it through but it wasn't a problem for Square Deal Windows as the surround was custom made in sections & fitted in situ. The work was carried out professionally & everything was left clean & the curtains put back in place. Great communication from ordering to completion. Highly recommended 👌
Another fine job by Square Deal. We had two windows and the front door replaced. The work was completed in a very timely manner with the installation team leaving everything clean and tidy on completion. The door colour was exactly as requested along with all the door furniture. A very nice job.

A Family business recommended to me and they didn't disappoint! Very smart 2 top floor windows fitted with no fuss and very Tidy. As a family business would be, all the staff are very polite and accommodating as well as giving good aftersales 2 year later when I was trying to find the FENSA certificate for selling the house. Won't hesitate to call them 1st again when we are next after some work doing. :)

I am very happy with the work completed by the team at Square Deal Windows. My job included the replacement of the existing front bedroom two windows and the mid rear window, retaining the box sash subframes, linings, architraves and inside bottom window sills. The work was completed to a very high standard and they were very clean and tidy when installing. You really get a personal touch from this company and they made everything so easy. Shocking company. Charged me £2650 for one velux window and I've been waiting 3 months for the scaffolding to be removed and only reason i am being given is scaffholding provider went bust. My order reference was 15171. I've managed to change 3 of the same windows afterwards for the same price with a different company. Would not recommend this company at all. Dreadful service, communication and extremely overpriced. Avoid at all costs to save yourself from a nightmare.
Maurice and his team have been lovely. We have the brightest yellow door in our street now and it’s exactly as we wanted. It’s a good vibe seeing it vibrant. They also added another door so it’s warmer in winter. Thank you for the excellent work

Maurice and his team replaced our window handles, front door handles, lock and letterbox in shiny chrome. The end result is extremely smart, but more importantly the work was completed quickly and tidily and to a very high standard. We have used Square Deal Windows for the last 8 years because they install quality products with skill and the after sales support and the work guarantee is second to none. We have had bi-fold doors with integrated blinds, large windows, velux windows, French doors and replacement locks and handles fitted in 2 different homes in Portsmouth. We would never look anywhere else for this work. I can’t recommend Maurice and his team highly enough.

Recently had new windows and rear door installed. They’re absolutely brilliant and exactly the sort of upgrade I wanted. The whole process was brilliant, great recommendations from the sales team and the installers were perfect gentlemen when on site. The installation and finish is flawless and looks rock solid. I also had some remedial work done to an existing window that wouldn’t open which functions perfectly! So happy with the result at a great price. Will definitely use again in future when other windows need replacing.

They are very clear from the outset what is to be delivered and installation is perfect. They’ve also resolved issues with a poorly fitted (from a 3rd party) door for me. The lead times for supplying new windows was perhaps longer than I might have expected however Maurice made this clear when ordering. Very happy with the service overall and will be using again! They were organized through our landlord, and sometimes as tenants we can get treated as second class customers but that isn't the case with these guys. Maurice was very communicative, and the guys who came to replace our window were very friendly and efficient. Would recommend them and use in the future.

I hired Square Deal in Southsea Portsmouth on the recommendation of a flat letting agent and am very satisfied with the replacement of two Velux roof windows in a flat that is in an older listed multi unit building. The vendor was careful to look after the tenants and neighbours as the work was done while let. This was a tricky fifth floor job and I would highly recommend Maurice and his team at Square Deal for any window work.
Square Deal Windows were professional and efficient. All appointments were kept and on time. Once work was started all 3 windows were completed in 2 days. Fitters were friendly and tidied up after themselves! Very pleased with the windows!
It was easy to organise what I wanted, how much I would pay and when installment would happen and when I contacted them, there was always a quick reply. They were respectful of my home and ensured they left the area tidy on completing, including taking all waste with them.
Great service and communication from Maurice and the team. I was kept informed every step of the way and even with a slight delay, they let me know exactly when they'd be able to come and even came the day before to take a look so they could make sure they'd have all the parts needed to fix our window. On the upside: WIndows are good quality, fitters are polite, tidy and do a good job. On the downside: They are very quick to take deposits, but slow to do the work. We waited from August 22 to February 23 to get the window fitted when the original estimated installation date was Nov 22. Whilst this was blamed on their supplier, the communication could have been better handled - if I had not chased it, I wonder if we would still be waiting? On balance, I would not recommend them.

We recently contacted Square Deal Windows to replace a rear door and surrounds. We were given a clear idea of what was involved, and various cost options depending on the specification of the door. Everything was completed within the quoted time, and we are peased with the quality of the work. Maurice was easy to deal with, and very thorough.

I recently used their services to install 3 windows and 2 sliding doors in our house. The communication with them from the very beginning was very good and thorough. They put a lot of emphasis on the design and paperwork stage, so there aren't any unexcepted surprises or problems down the line. The work took 3 days to compete and the finishing was amazing. I believe they left the house even cleaner than it was before! We already noticed the different in our insulation within hours from them leaving as I was able to put my thermostat a couple of degrees down and still be comfortable in the house. I would be more than happy to recommend their services to anyone or even be a reference for their quality of work.

First time was to replace a blown window & the 2nd time They fixed 2 handles on my double glazed windows. I called late Friday to say my front door handle was broken. James came around on Monday evening to look at the job. Then I got a call from Maurice on Friday to say they had the part. The lads came late on Friday to fix the handle and were done in under ten minutes! All this after I'd dithered over getting the job done for 3-4 weeks, because I thought it might mean a hefty bill replacing the door mechanism!
