Having been recommended al-windows, I emailed them for information. They responded asking me for window details which I gave them. I waited for over a week . No reply! I then Email a note to say that I presumed that they were no longer interested in my business and thanked them! I received a very negative email saying that someone was off sick for a month pe so.. Does business stop because of one person!? Not what I expected.... One star.
We are so pleased that we chose AL Windows to fit sliding doors on our new balcony. They were so professional, friendly and punctual, completing the job on an incredibly hot day. The quality of the windows is excellent with great attention to detail and look fantastic. We would definitely recommend AL windows.
AL Windows were a pleasure to do business with. They are a small, family run business which means you get a personal and professional experience from start to finish. The brothers are courteous and friendly and the cost was extremely competitive in the current market. They were prompt, flexible and willing to work to my building timeframe and schedule. AL Windows are a breath of fresh air in the windows market. Excellent before sales service with advice on the many different options available - brilliant installation, really looked after my property - and amazing after sales service (one minor issue was resolved with a call out visit in no time!) - the quality of the product is exceptional too, with lovely slim profiles so you have more glass to see through! - I will be calling them again if I get another property!
We had all our windows including a sliding patio door of our flat replaced. The service by AL Windows was excellent from beginning to end. The pricing, planning and installation went very smoothly and their expert team were very much on the ball. They were very tidy and clean workers that left our flat in tip top condition. AL windows replaced all my windows and balcony doors. This was done in a very professional and effective way with the minimum of disruption. Job was finished in 3 days and I’m very happy with the outcome, so much so that I recommended them to my neighbour who will also be using them.
We had our windows and doors fitted over four years ago, and the experience has been fantastic from start to finish. Recently, we accidentally broke a handle, and they came around and fixed it quickly and without any hassle. The customer service is outstanding; everyone is very friendly and easy to deal with. we ordered a new door and from the beginning karen was so lovely and helpful and we had the new door fitted on 7th feb 2025 and the guy replaced all the damaged sides and upper window and very friendly and professional and also tidy up afterwards. 100% customer service and would highly recommed them to you.

I recently had AL windows install a uPVC bay window in my property. They were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. The bay was carefully measured so that the window fitted perfectly when installed. Fitting day went well, we went out leaving them to it for three hours and when we came back it was mostly finished. Very tidy job with no mess left at all. Definitely recommend.

Had some old patio doors replaced with a set of bi-folds by these guys. Fabulous and professional service from first contact to finish. In fact, they phoned a few weeks earlier than expected and asked if we'd like the doors fitted later that day! This proved most fortuitous as I'd just broken the lock on the old patio doors whilst in my daily fight to open them😆 We're really pleased with the doors and they're so easy to operate. We had some windows and bifold doors installed by AL in 2020, a minor issued developed (the door was catching on the bottom), I ran and spoke to a lovely lady who arranged for the owner to pop round the following day after their day job was complete. He took just under an hour and fixed the problem there and then. Thanks

We needed to replace wooden casement windows on the 2nd floor of our old property in Swanage. These windows were encased in black painted frames with slate sides and an apex slate roof. All the house windows were painted green. It’s a period property circa 1800 with Georgian style sash windows on the lower floors. We wanted to make sure that new replacement windows would blend in with the other windows and maintain the period aesthetic of the property. However we didn’t want the ongoing maintenance associated with wood windows. I phoned AL Windows and spoke to a very helpful lady. She arranged an appointment for a visit by one of their team. A person came to measure up a few days later and we decided to go with plastic double hung windows; white on the inside and black on the outside. A L windows gave us an approximate delivery time of 3 weeks. They were actually fitted two and a half weeks later. The new windows blend in perfectly with the style of the building and look like they’re made from wood when viewed from the outside. From the inside they look very neat and tidy. We now have no unwanted draughts or water leaks. We are thrilled with the new windows. Thanks to the team at A L windows for your excellent work and for being extremely helpful. Paul Stobart

I very rarely post reviews on anything but felt compelled to do so on this occasion - thanks to the great job done by everyone on the AL team. We had new patio doors and a window fitted and we are delighted with the outcome. They built trust right from the off. The visit to their production site was really useful and helped to see the work they were capable of. The back office worked very smoothly, with Sara very responsive to our requests. Most importantly, the product is excellent, good value for the quality, and the finished doors and windows better than we could have expected. The installation team were fantastic - they worked with care for the rest of our property, pace to get it done before the weather changed, and all with a really friendly and helpful attitude. All this was done in a very reasonable timeframe from order to fitting. Thanks again to the team - I would recommend anyone to use this great small business.
Everyone in the company can’t do enough to make sure that the final products lives up to your expectations. They are prompt at answering any queries, they are on time and very approachable. My bifold doors and sliding window were complicated to measure up and fit but they were all very knowledgeable and keen to find the best solution possible. The product is good quality, fitted well and sealed/finished perfectly. I would highly recommend them on their products and customer care
In searching for new Bi Fold doors I have become a bit of an ‘arm chair expert’ on them. It’s appears there are loads of companies out there doing Bi Folds but on closer examination this was not the case. The majority of companies will offer them but will in fact order them in from a third party manufacturer. As a result costs and time lines are increased. Not AL Windows though. AL make them in house meaning they were circa £1.5k cheaper than the nearest like for like quote. Not only this but I paid the deposit on the 1st or March and they were installed on the 23rd of March (a good 12 weeks quicker than the above mentioned quote). All this was done with a great customer service throughout the process. A massive shout out to Sara for putting up with my many MANY questions. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

Brilliant from start to finish! We ordered 2 sets of aluminium bi-folds for an extension. The quality of the products fitted is excellent. The service was professional and totally painless. The fitting team were so friendly, punctual and knowledgeable. They got both sets up in such a short time. I would highly, highly recommend this company without hesitation. I cannot seem to write a 2nd review but we liked our experience so much that we asked them to come back and replace our windows, and fit some new ones to a garage conversion! We had exactly the same excellent experience which proves consistency. The team were friendly, tidy and respectful of working around us within our home. Still highly recommend AL windows. They are easy to deal with, great on price and service, fantastic attention to detail and lovely people.

I had a UPVC door fitted and various window repairs carried out by Al Windows in my own home, they look great, really happy with their work. They also do various works for us on a portfolio of managed properties and the guys are always prompt, responsive, reliable, trustworthy and workmanship is always second to none.
