Wessex Building Contractors Limited

I was amazed by the complexities of the work needed for a soakaway installation in my garden and completely satisfied with what was done. Warren was extremely hard working , thorough, dedicated and consistently good humoured. Thank you.

We are immensely grateful to Wessex Building Contractors and to the two outstanding bricklayers who built our wall which is of an exceptional beauty. Our very long wall runs along a very busy road and passers-by who walk by stop to praise it. We are delighted with the work done and we would like to thank everyone who participated in building our wall. The job was completed on time to a very high standard. We fully recommend Wessex Building Contractors who have provided us with such an outstanding work done by the very best bricklayers and workmen we have ever had the opportunity to meet in our lifetime. It is the best workmanship anyone has ever seen . With our most sincere thanks to everyone. 5x star recommendation from all of us! Thank you.

Kevin spent an hour today at my property. He managed to detect the cause of my leak where various other builders had failed. He was excellent. Thank you.

I came across Wessex Building Contractors when I was looking for quotes for a loft conversion. I had spoken to two other contractors before however when I met with John I was highly impressed with his knowledge and professionalism and he really listened tans understood what I was after. It was clear that WBC were going to be the most appropriate for the project so after securing a competitive quote I decided to proceed. Fast forward to today and I’m really happy with the result. The finish is superb and John’s team were highly efficient and courteous throughout. I couldn’t recommend Wessex Building Contractors highly enough, 5 x star recommendation from me!

Very professional and helpful service from John and his team. They transformed what was a small kitchen and spare bedroom into a lovely open kitchen diner. The builders, Darren & Russel were great! They met all my requirements and expectations while giving me advice for my small understanding of DIY.

I used this company for my Mums place and they were superb!!! my mum is delighted and everything was done on time at a great price. highly recommend.

Have used this company a few times over the years! Always brilliant service and very reliable 👍

We used Wessex Building contractors for some work on our property recently. We are so pleased that we were recommened to use them. The whole team were great, professional , covid safe. We will 100% use them again.

A very professional team, I called John and asked if his company could help with some urgent works that needed doing for us. He managed to accomodate our needs and the works were completed in a great time frame, at their usual high standard and always reasonably priced. We've used Wessex for years, another job completed to our satisfaction. Thanks again, Nick & Steph

We used Wessex to replace glass to a balcony in Bournemouth, they were the most competitive of 3 quotes received. From start to finish the experience was professional and quality of workmanship very good. Would recommend this company and pleased to be a reference.

Great service, knowledgeable team, who understand the customer needs They provided me various pricing options for the replacement of two bay windows to a feature property as well as replacing a kitchen window & door. I also had the window facias replaced to match those of my neighbours. Workmen were polite and efficient, kept everything clean and tidy whilst ensuring minimal disruption. I have house cats and they were very respectful of keeping them safe during the work. I’m writing this review four years after the work was completed, everything is still solid secure and looking good. Pleased to hear their expertise has expanded and I will be looking to get other work done through this company.

Fab Service. Brill

I obtained a quote from John White of Wessex Building Contractors to render my chimney and repaint. A start date was confirmed with Mandy the project Manager and reconfirmed with Marsha their Director. On the appointed date no one arrived. I had altered my travel plans to make sure I was available for this date. After contacting Mandy who seemed a little flustered I was told later on that their plasterer had broken his arm. I explained that I was disappointed and could not understand why no one had contacted me to let me know. John White subsequently contacted me to tell me he didn’t want to do the job. Very unprofessional and unreliable.
