I used Jamie for a plumbing, heating and gas inspection and was very happy with the service. He was thorough, knowledgeable and identified a number of issues during the inspection. The report was detailed and clear, and he was also very helpful with follow-up questions afterwards. Professional and reliable service – highly recommended.

This is the second time we have used Vicimras. Both times they have been able to diagnose the issue and resolve quickly. Jamie who came was wonderfully friendly and extremely patient with the questions I was asking as I wanted to understand more about how the boiler/ heating system worked. Could not recommend their work more than, next time we need someone we know who to call!

I called this gas engineer to request a quote on behalf of someone who was in the process of moving house. Unfortunately, I received a very rude and sarcastic response. He asked whether I had a budget, and I explained that I was not sure as I was calling on someone else’s behalf. His response was dismissive and unnecessarily rude, and the call ended abruptly. I found the interaction very unprofessional, especially over something so simple. Based on this experience, I would not recommend his services.

Jamie sorted out my problem with a leaking hot water overflow and serviced my boiler. He arrived at scheduled time and he was friendly and polite. It’s hard to find tradespeople you can fully trust, but Jamie is one of them. He’s always punctual, takes the time to explain what’s going on, and only recommends work that actually needs doing. I’ve never felt pressured or upsold — just honest advice and solid work every time. I have no hesitation to recommend him to anyone I know.

BOILER SERVICE : As it is now, I am very satisfied. The service was done as planned, on rime, friendly and professional manner. Provided advice and took time to do the task. I am pleased with everything as it appears to be working well; I don’t hear the loud noise in my boiler any more. Also the Engineer reassured me for further assistance if the problem continues. Overall, good job done. The price is a little high, just a down side.👍

After being let down by my boiler insurance company Jamie came to the rescue!! He stayed until nearly 11pm so that we were back up and running and even gave the boiler a thorough service to ensure it carried on working properly. Will be cancelling my service plan from now on and will be using him again to carry out each service. Would definitely recommend!

Jamie managed to fit us in to his busy schedule when we contacted him about a couple of issues that we had with an old heating system. At the same time as looking at this issues we also asked Jamie to complete our annual boiler service which he did. I should also mention that another company had come out to look at the issues the week before and they quoted for various different types of work that we could do the minimum option costing close to £500 including the boiler service. Jamie recognised that some of this work was likely unnecessary and when he came out he was able to identify obvious issues which we had not been notified off and he completed tests that helped direct us in future work. This necessary work was done at a fraction of the price quoted by the other company. I recommend Jamie and will definitely be using him again. Many thanks

25/02/2024 UPDATE: GREAT help as always. Our old boiler broken suddenly, Jamie offered options to replace or repair. We choosed the later and an urgent installation has been made in three days since we contacted Jamie. I literally can't expect anything more. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not only the required jobs have been carried out thoroughly, but Jamie also gave me pieces of advice on other housing stuff like electricity, and damp prevention. All the services were made in the first available slot without extra charge, great value for money and timely convinience.

Best plumbing service ever!

Very fast and reliable service. Jamie replied to my request within a few minutes and attended soon after. He identified the root cause of my boiler's fault (it had been unused for a long while as I have only recently moved in to this flat), replaced the faulty sensor and carried out the service. He also provided general advice about maintenance as well as replacement as long as it's needed in future. I definitely recommend.

Highly recommend Vicmiras. Called Jamie 15/02/25 as had problems with boiler so no heat or hot water He advised he was very busy but would pop round to diagnose the problem and on phone advised he had a heater we could use. Turned out it was actually the thermostat. Jamie stayed and fitted a new Hive Thermostat and then sat and explained exactly how to use the new system. Jamie is very knowledgeable and a great communicator and sent a text 30 mins before arrival so we didn't have to wait around for him. He explained everything and was happy to show my husband exactly what he was doing. Jamie was very tidy and there was no mess to clear on his departure. Very reasonably priced too. Second time Jamie has done work for us and we will have no hesitation to call him again. Thank you, Jamie, will certainly recommend you to friends and family.

Vicmiras service is excellent... Instead of finding excuses and reasons, Vicmiras got to the bottom of the issue, resolved it, issued the gas certificate. Also the technician took pictures and gave a comprehensive report for my records. Absolutely super service. I will call him again without any doubt.

We had a double story side and rear extension last year. Jamie was amazing. He replaced and fitted new boiler, multiple radiators, kitchen and bathroom. He has since been back to service the boiler and i couldn't praise his work ethic enough. Lovely gentleman and amazing with kids. My toddler loved helping and watching jamie do his work. I would like to leave some well deserved good feedback for the replacement pipe work for my new kitchen that Jamie fitted this week. Firstly a good sign that someone has respect for your property is when they take their shoes off before they enter your house and then continues to do so during the job! Small details, but it goes a long way, especially on first impressions when quoting me for the job! Anyway moving on to the actual plumbing work, all Jamie's pipe work was neatly installed and placed exactly where I requested, even the pipe clips were neatly spaced and these secured the pipe nicely to the wall! Jamie also has time for you to chat about the job and explains the work he is carrying out clearly before and during the work. I will be using Jamie again in the future and I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone who needs any plumbing work. Thanks Andy

He came just on time and solved the problem quickly at super reason able price, which shocked me in all my experience when asking an engineer to come home in U.K. I can't recommend more and I myself will definitely call him if I have any problem in boiler and plumbing in my house. And I will recommend him to my neighbors and friends when they need. Besides it is very sad that I didn't know Vicmiras earlier when I installed my softener (Harvey), while Vicmiras can provide a much better price and even better quality. I am very disappointed with Harvey's because I got two leakage problems soon after the installation and I even don't know if I got any benefit from it. So if I have another chance I would like to choose Vicmiras too.
