Within a few weeks of calling him, Marcus had diagnosed the underlying issue with central heating, done a powerflush, then replaced the gas boiler. Other plumbers and heating engineers who had looked at it didn't have a clue. Marcus had it all sorted in double quick time and it's all working perfectly now.

My hot water immersion system was not working and I was given the option to try and fix it or to get a new system. As my hot water system was over 20 years old and I wanted a new system, he kindly recommended me a new thermal store system as per my needs. He was quick to attend, answered all my questions about the new system, gave me a clear quote, updated me with an ETA before arrival, made sure the old system was disposed off from a second floor flat without damage to the walls etcs, made sure the new system was fitted and working correctly and made sure the area was clean/tidy before he left.

Marcus from Elite Plumbing carried out the annual service for our central heating boiler. He was prompt and courteous, completed the service efficiently, and helped solve a problem we'd been having with the thermostat.

Excellent and professional job. Elite/Marcus replaced gas boiler system, installed new gas boiler and flue, carried out all electrical and pipework , flushed all radiators and pipework, installed new hot water cylinder, new water filling & water isolation values in storage loft tank. Marcus carried out a boiler service and investigated a complicated problem with the heating system. He identified thar the issue was due to the installers of my replacement boiler having incorrect wired the system. He sorted out the spaghetti of wiring and it now functions correctly. He arrived as arranged and kept me well informed as he investigated. His cost was very reasonable.

Quick turnaround, excellent service, and honest advice. Our old boiler vented into our back yard at head hight (making the yard an unpleasant place to be when it was on), but Marcus went the extra mile and added a height extension to the vent, and also serviced the water filter both without needing to be asked. He was punctual on the date of initial inspection of the issue with our previous boiler and also on the day of the actual installation was right there at exactly 8:30am as promised. No fuss, knew what he was doing, provided sound technical information on boiler Kwh, power flushing, etc. - prioritised the customer's need and did not try to hard-sell us stuff that we don't need. Our boiler was not heating radiators without manual intervention. He diagnosed the problem, supplied and fitted the replacement valve control and serviced the boiler. All done at short notice, in a pleasant and thorough professional manner. Have used before and will use again.

Marcus has just fitted a new hydronic plinth heater for me, after installing our boiler and Honeywell Evohome system 4-5 years ago. He has also serviced our heating system every year since. His work is of the highest standard and he is prompt with great comms texting exactly when he would arrive. When our boiler broke down I contacted Marcus through Check a trade. He responded really quickly (at the weekend) and came out that day. Our boiler broke on the Thursday, he made space for a visit on his Friday, quickly identified the issue, and gave a couple of options (changing the heating exchange, or simply purchasing a new boiler), and the pros and cons with either. Refreshingly to find A tradesman that is efficient, friendly, smart and left the place exactly as he'd found it. He also turned up at the exact time he said, how rare is that! It was convenient to pay, l paid by card once the work was complete so I didn't have to worry about having cash to hand. I'll definitely use them in the future and will request the same engineer.

Quick to come out but ridiculously expensive. Both labour and parts. Spoke to a separate plumber who says he would have charged between 50 and 70 pounds. Not £150.
