T Bennett plumbing and heating

We opted for a Vaillant aroTHERM plus 12kW air source heat pump to replace our 20 year old oil fired boiler. Vaillant gave us a choice of three specialist companies to carry out a suitability study including a heat loss survey. T. Bennett Plumbing and Heating were the most responsive and following their very detailed suitability study, we gave them the contract. I have to say that the Bennett brothers, Tom and Jack both delivered to promise. They came up with a very neat and minimally disruptive means of connecting into our existing radiator and underfloor heating systems. We needed a few new radiators which they supplied and fitted as an element of the overall project. True professionals. It was refreshing to see the actual installer right from the start and not a salesperson on commission. Tom and Jack played it straight all the way through, worked like Trojans to get us up and running as fast as possible and have done a splendid job. I am very happy to recommend both them as individuals and T. Bennett Plumbing and Heating as a company.

Very impressive was told it would be a complicated job, sorted out in a couple of hours would definitely recommend them

extremely polite and knowledgeable guy. also clean and tidy. have him planned for the next service already.

Brillaint company can't recommend more 10/10

Tom and team, advised and informed us of our best options with regard to air source heat pump solutions. Tom secured our grant, undertook the work and never asked for a penny upfront. Moreover his knowledge and skill gave us the confidence to invest in a modern and efficient alternative to gas and I am over the moon that we did. We are saving money and not burning fossil fuels. We could not be happier. Thank you Tom!

I would highly recommend T Bennett Plumbing and Heating. We had a big leak in works toilet, engineer arrived quickly and problem was fixed within a couple of hours. Great service, friendly engineer who kept me updated through the whole process. Thank you.

Tom has given excellent service for over 10 years now. His work is very thorough , he is very knowledgable on all matters re boilers and general plumbing. Nothing is too much trouble, he is honest, friendly and reliable , always gives prompt service and his quotes are always competitive. He loves a cuppa too!

Tom was really helpful, friendly, quick, efficient and professional. Went the extra mile to complete not only the original job but an extra one that I only just mentioned! Really impressed, will definitely use again if needed.

After a number of years considering how to replace our ineffective and expensive to run electric heating system we finally took the plunge and opted for a new heat pump driven central heating and hot water system from Tom Bennett. It has transformed the house. We now have high pressure hot and cold water throughout the house and as much heat as we could possibly want. Running costs look similar to gas, although we did not have the option. Tom was able to explain how to avoid the pitfalls with heat pumps and I would thoroughly recommend him to anybody considering one. As a climate scientist I would strongly urge everyone to consider making the change, especially with the increased £7500 government grant now available.

Have used Tom for the past five years. Always pleasant, helpful and efficient. Definitely recommended.

Good professional work. Installation very neat and tidy , was rather impressed by tidiness of pipework in particular. Nice people to work with and no hesitation in recommending them

Had a leak under bathroom sink. Plumber arrived promptly and was very efficient, all sorted! Would recommend.

Tom did a brilliant job,no mess no fuss.Everthing that was done was done to a very high standard.

Tom and Jack carried out the work seemlessly, minimising disruption and wear and tear on carpets and furniture etc.Time keeping was exemplary finishing the work ahead of schedule and on completion explained in great detail how the system worked.took away an extensive amount of redundant equipment.

First class service

We booked Tom in for the annual service of boiler and gas fire. He showed up on time agreed and carried out the work diligently leaving no mess behind. We've employed Tom to carry out previous work on the boiler and will certainly get in touch again for any plumbing or boiler work.

Had a unseen leakage from our en suite on to our lower ceiling, found it and stopped leakage

Tom fitted a new boiler for us. Although it was quite a complex job, Tom found a way around the issues and did a first class job. Would highly recommend him and will definitely be using him in the future.

Tom and his team are very professional and knowledgeable. They complete jobs to a high standard without any dramas. We've used them to fit a new boiler, which they service every year and they recently fitted a digital power shower, which is fantastic.

Very pleased with the work carried out. Have not had any issues with it since installation. Would highly recommend.

Very pleased with my new boiler. Tom is friendly and polite, very reliable and always tidied up before he left. Patient advice on how to use controls and warranty. Excellent fault finding on an old leak. I would certainly recommend his work.

Tom capped off the gas supply after I removed an old fireplace. He was very professional and only charged me £15 which I thought was very reasonable for task I couldn't do myself. Other tradespersons have charged me more just for turning up. I have recommended Tom to friends. Thank you Tom.

The only company to respond to my urgent call when my boiler broke down on New Year’s day. A visit confirmed the boiler beyond repair. It was replaced within the week by the company who continue to service it annually. I would recommend this company to others for their response times and professional, clean work

Great service, support and help from Tom

Very prompt and efficient service.Kept me informed of costs . Very polite and trust worthy.

Tom connected the new gas hob during my kitchen refit and has since serviced both my boiler and gas fire. Also replaced the gas heating thermostat. On every occasion, Tom has done a good job, is reasonably priced, clean and tidy and arrives promptly. Would thoroughly recommend.

Efficient quoting system, explained everything in detail, very knowledgeable. Good time keeping, friendly and efficient.

Installed two boilers for me and serviced many more. Work is very neat and thought through. Friendly and easy to work with. Very happy to recommend. Also works on heat pump installations.

Tom was very professional and arrived on time. Final invoice was what he quoted. Cleaned up after he finished his work. Was very knowledgeable about the heating system and took the time to find some parts for us where another plumber said he couldn't get them.

Tom Bennett is the best boiler/heating services company I've ever used. They're efficient, well priced in the market and always reliable. I've had a couple of 'out of hours' issues over the years, and Tom has always come through. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Used Tom twice since we started letting out our property in Southampton. Both times he has turned up when he said he would and carried out the work professionally and competitively priced. Happy to recommend his services.

We bought a project house at the end of last year which needed a new boiler, bathroom and cloakroom. Couldn’t be happier with the work- as you can see a real transformation!!

Would not hesitate to recommend Tom as I have done so in the past to friends and family - professional and reliable.

Great Services from Tom and his team, so much so that we now use him for all our work at our offices.

Tom fitted a new boiler for us a couple of years ago now. Competitive price and great service. Great aftercare too.
