A top class service. Darren completely renewed the gas system on my boat. He took great pains to route the pipework out of sight which involved climbing into and out of the cockpit locker several times! He removed all the old pipe and fittings, cleaned up neatly when he had finished and tested the new installation to his satisfaction. He is very agreeable person to be around his workmanship is first rate. Thoroughly recommended.

I called Darren to ask him if he would inspect our yacht gas cooker installation (New Zealand installed 6 years ago), while we were berthed in Lymington for a couple of days. At short notice, and at the end of a full day, he upgraded our hoses and regulator to UK marine gas spec and tested the system to meet UK gas safety requirements. He subsequently issued us with a gas safety certificate. We were very happy with his advice, which allowed us to reach a quick decision on what needed to be done, and more than happy with the great efficiency, humour, professionalism and diligence with which Darren carried out the work into the evening. My camper van had a gas leak in the vicinity of the underslung tank. Two caravan workshops had failed to locate the leak. I contacted GasWave Ltd and Darren Cox offered me an inspection at 5pm at the end of his working day. Within 10 minutes he had found the source of the leak… a faulty regulator. He offered to carry out a replacement there and then while I went up the road for a pub supper. I returned as he was completing the post-repair check of the full gas system. Brilliant service… Friendly, helpful, and very professional. Highly recommended!
What a lovely guy Darren is! He worked on the hottest day of the year so far, to replace the whole gas system on my boat and, because he knew I'd been without gas for a month, he made a massive effort to complete the work before going on his holiday! Fantastic workmanship, professional, courteous & very highly recommended!
Great service at short notice so our trip wasn't delayed. Darren changed hoses, corrected a pipe issue, system checked and signed our boat off all in a couple of hours at a very competitive price.
I requested a gas safety check. We agreed a time and place and after an early text, to confirm on the day, Darren arrived promptly. The work was diligently carried out, tested for leaks and passed. Darren was polite and efficient, the invoice included photographs of the work done and I'm very happy to recommend him to anyone needing marine gas maintenance.
