I’ve had a gas boiler issue fixed by SCAF plumping and Heating Ltd- very pleased with the result. The works done were quick, professional and carried out to a high standard. Our hot water kept dropping and now after the works it’s much improved, we have far more reliable hot water. Overall, a great service! Highly recommend!

Awful, intimidating company

Silviu was great!! He arrived and diagnosed the problem very quickly and advised me that I might have a similar problem in the future with the other, ‘non-broken’ sink. He fixed both in a timely manner and reassured me that all the work was under warranty. I will use him again, when the need arises.

AVOID if you are a pensioner living on your own. I’ve changed my review from 5* as found out from a friend that the WiFi thermostat they sold me for £300, is selling for under £70. To say I am upset and disgusted is an understatement. They say they give a discount to pensioners which is obvious not the case. This person is on the trusted platform Checkatrade so that is why I went with them. I’ve had 2 other tradesmen from there, who were excellent. I was also told that the £3,165 I paid in cash, to supply and fit a new boiler should have normally been around £2,000. I trusted this person as I even left them alone in my home while I went to get the extra cash. I have had no reply from the email I sent a week ago giving them a chance to explain about overcharging me. That speaks volumes to me.

Silviu (the plumber from SCAF Plumbing & Heating) really helped me out of my emergency just now. I was really let down yesterday by All Home Repairs 24/7 which gave me very bad service. So I called SCAF Plumbing this morning around 9am and was told that a plumber will be arriving between 1pm - 5pm. Silviu actually arrived before the time slot. He resolved the issue within a 10 - 15 minutes, stopping the leak which had flooded my kitchen and living room carpets. After returning downstairs from minding my baby, I found him mopping up the excess water on the kitchen floor. He even took the time to give me some advice before he left. I am very happy with his service and will use him again. It was difficult dealing with a bad plumbing company the day before so his customer service really impressed me. Many thanks for your help. I’ve given five stars because I was contacted immediately and was given a same day appointment , the Enginer turned up on time was extremely polite and informative (also removed his shoes👍)we had booked a boiler service but we were having problems with our thermostat /control it turns out it was broken so had no signal, he replaced it and reprogrammed it , he took the time to explain some things to us about our radiators and boiler (nothing was too much trouble) he left the place tidy, I’ve saved his number in my phone as we will definitly be getting him back next year to service the boiler, I would recommend Scaf Plumbing & Heating one hundred per cent 😊😊😊

As per our previous experience of using SCAF, we again had an excellent service. A year ago Silviu and his team serviced our boiler and cleaned and serviced all our radiators with excellent care to detail, consideration of the house and cleanliness and stayed beyond working hours to ensure all was in good working order. Today Silviu returned to service the boiler again and was courteous, polite and thorough. The paperwork was sent through within the hour and I cannot fault the service. Thank you.

The very picture of 5 star service. My boiler broke down on Sunday and by Monday morning it was fixed. Silviu was polite, professional and informative throughout. Absolutely fantastic service!! Boiler broke down last week and Silviu came out so quickly to assist with what we thought was the problem. Even helpes us find rhe correct part our side to speed up the fix. Turns out it was a whole different issue and boiler needed to be changed. SCAF to the rescue and managed to obtain and fit a whole new boiler within 3 hours so the kids would not have to go without hot water. Amazing, friendly and professional service, even taught the kids some things 😊 and were not bothered by being asked questions. Even offered to help with any issues that may arise via video. Great value for money, zero mess left behind. Was upfront and honest about all costs and potential set backs if problems not fixed. Talked me through the set up and use of the new boiler and the best place to keep the control panel so it registers the correct room temperatures etc. Would highly recommend with all of the stars!!!
