He came to fit my cooker but did a thorough check and found a fault in my meter and had the gas board out within 20 minutes. Fantastic work and very reasonable price, highly recommend

Called them on a Sunday and had a diagnostic visit on Monday. Parts were needed which were quoted the following day. The quote was accepted but I was told they couldn't be fitted for over a week. After some persuasion they were fitted the day after. The boiler now works fine. My main concern is the price. Parts,labour, diagnostic fee and VAT came to over £400. Definitely worth looking at boiler insurance. .

Reported a boiler failure and had a quick reply with clear communication and response. Attended at appointed time and quickly identified the fault and fixed it so we now have hot water again. Happily recommend to anyone.

We had the condensing boiler supplied &fitted by GSP&H Booking was with 3 weeks before as everyone else was busy as you’ll expect before winter starts.All work done as we agreed,received all the necessary paperwork in good time and all requests were met Also needed some tap cartridges replaced work was completed in time and good workmanship Will recommend as quality top heating engineer

Sent this guy various pictures of a leaking pipe going into concrete underneath a bath in a rental property that had damaged the flooring of next doors property. Asked if he could help urgently as hes located fairly close to the property in colchester. To his credit he promptly arrived at the house. He inspected the leak, told me he thinks its coming from one of the pipes under the bath but not sure which, but most importantly could not remove the bath, fix the leak or refit the bath once fixed. It would be hilarious if it didnt cost me £70 for the pleasure of such fantastic advice.

Andrei installed a new boiler and programmer for us. He worked until late in the evening to make sure we had the system up and running for the next day in a cold snap and still had time to give us some advice on our central heating system and clear everything up before he went home. His charges were very reasonable and he was thorough and meticulous in his work. Andrei is a great worker and a nice guy to have around. We are delighted with the results and would certainly get him again in future for any plumbing or heating work if he was available. We would fully recommend him.

Our boiler decided to pack up. This guy came out within hours, ordered the part and came back the next day and had us up and running. Lovely guy highly recommend.

I highly recommend Gold Star Plumbing and Heating - Andrei is a star! Super professional and friendly. I had to call an emergency plumber after-hours after discovering a leak in the mains pipe in kitchen. Andrei was upfront about timings and cost from the first conversation so there were no surprises. He arrived when he said he would and got straight to it, isolating the mains supply and fixing the leak successfully in little under 20 minutes. Top notch!

I cannot fault Andrei in any way! His experience is second to none and the level of service was brilliant! We needed a new boiler installed and moved to a different wall - not the easiest job for a plumber, but Andrei has completed the job without any issues at all, very efficient, fast and at a great price too! We will no longer look for quotes when we need a plumber again. Andrei is our go to plumbing and heating engineer from now on for everything we will need in the future - and we will for sure!

Brilliant service. I was unable to get hold of my usual heating engineer and had no heating or water due to low pressure in boiler. Was unable to top up water myself due to problems with the valve. Andrei came when he said he would, explained and showed me the problem and charged a reasonable price. Very happy with service.

We have just had Andre out to replace our combi boiler heating thermostat to a new wireless one. Andre was prompt, polite, friendly and very professional. It took him just over an hour to complete the work which I'm very pleased with. The price was slightly under what was originally expected which I'm also very happy with. I can highly recommend this company to anyone. I will be using Andre again.

We saw Gold Star’s van parking up the road from us so went and spoke to Andrei, who came and looked at our problem and promised to come back the next day. He duly did, fixed that problem but discovered another one which needed a part not on his van. In spite of having a full workload the following week he bought the part over the weekend and came and installed it as promised on the Tuesday at about 7.45 pm We cannot speak highly enough of Andrei’s care and professionalism and would certainly recommend him.
