Problem fitted and fixed...Great service

I was charged £470 for 2 1/4 hours work. The guy said i had air in my underfloor heating pipes. Absolutely no change in my heating. Absolute rip off! I have now had another company in who also found air in my system. They have flushed through (taking same time as this company) and my underfloor heating is now working great in all rooms. I will be reporting this company to ombudsman and everywhere else to warn people. They replied to this review saying i had not contacted them regarding my complaint AND that they had left my system fully operational. These two Statements of their are false. I had contacted them twice Asking for a partial refund because of the work that did not Correct my problem. Their statement saying that the fault was fixed is incorrect because the gentleman did not test the system. He did not stay long enough to test the system and it Never worked correctly as he said it would.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I received a great service. The engineer was so helpful and able to repair my boiler when previously I’d been told by another company I’d need a new one, this has saved me thousands. I will definitely be recommending to my neighbours and family in Colchester.

I woke up and my heating was not working. Urgently needed a heating engineer to assist as we have a young family in London. We booked a heating engineer with Fix and Repair Engineers. By 10 am the heating engineer was with us same day and got my boiler working. He also looked at my underfloor heating which has never really worked properly and he is returning next week to resolve the issues. Fantastic service.

I had a good experience with this company. I had a faulty boiler, No heating or hot water and based in Essex. We discussed the charges before I booked and paid. They were transparent with their charges the engineer was helpful and honest and did a good job. I received a call the following day to discuss the final bill which I agreed. I would highly recommend.

Professional heating engineer prompts on call 24 hrs very reliable company

The engineer arrived on time and did a thorough service on our 8 year old Baxi combi gas boiler.He was very tidy and left no mess. As we have underfloor heating he recommended that the pipes be checked for blockages using an infrared meter which detects cold patches which can occur over time and can be cured with flushing the pipes-really helpful advice. I would definately recommend this company.

Thanks to the team for sending an engineer on the day who, whilst he needed to wait for parts, at least got us heating and showed me how to get heating. Then coming back once the part arrived and sorting us out. The engineer, Adam, was amazing. Polite, knowledgeable and quick.

Adam friendly and resolved problem (hence the 5 stars) - which another electrician had given up on. But service from main office could be better (eg given time slot of 8-5 but on the day the office not able to be more precise - in fact they were misleading but didn’t think to advise me of the later eta of 5.00/5.15 until 4.00pm!
