Karl Fischer Garden Grounds & Tree Maintenance Limited

Sorry for the late review — things have been a bit hectic lately, but I didn’t want to forget to leave one! I’d definitely recommend Karl. He did a great job in my garden, shaping the yew tree, cutting back the extra branches, taking down the tree we talked about, clearing all the garden waste, and removing the ivy from the fence and surrounding area. Karl kept me updated the whole time and sent videos so I could see how things were going. He was reliable, friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. He also took all the waste away, which made things really easy for me. I’m really happy with how everything turned out — the garden looks so much better. I’d definitely use Karl again and would happily recommend him to others. Thanks, Karl!

Thank you Karl and his team did a fantastic job removing our very large overgrown Magnolia tree. Turned up when they said they would, very tidy and polite. Great price and cut another tree for us for a little extra. Thanks again, dont hesitate to use Karl Fischer Grounds Maintenance. Thanks again, Jayne

Would absolutely reccomend Karl and his team for any garden work. He cleared my overgrown back garden. He also removed a sycamore tree, shaped a privet and pruned an overgrown magnolia in my front garden. The quote was more than reasonable for the amount and quality of work they did. From the outset, the communication was excellent and Karl was really knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Always turned up when he said he would and fitted me in around a busy summer work schedule and did two weed treatments on top of the scheduled visits. He and his team worked so quickly and efficiently, did a wonderful job and cleared everything up afterwards. He has also offered routine maitenence and I know my garden is now in excellent hands. Thank you Karl and team!

Highly recommend. Professional, friendly, trustworthy & responsive — exactly what you want. Hired for significant hedge trimming and dead tree removal. Work has been excellent.

Karl and his team are fantastic. Great job done. Very good price. Clear, friendly, professional. I’ll use them for more work. Would highly recommend.

Karl and the team did a brilliant job on a couple of troublesome bushes in our yard. Friendly, fast and efficient - would highly recommend

Really professional job done by Karl and his team removing a damaged tree. Cleared all the debris away and left the garden neat and tidy. Great communication too.

Karl and his team came out to my house today and did an excellent job cutting back the overgrown bushes all around the garden. The difference is incredible — everything looks so much neater, tidier, and well cared for. They arrived at the agreed time, were punctual, very friendly, and professional throughout. Once the work was finished, they cleared away all the cuttings and left the area spotless, which was really appreciated. All of this was done at a very reasonable price, especially considering the high standard of work and attention to detail. Overall, a fantastic service from start to finish. I’ll definitely be in touch again for any future work and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality garden maintenance

Karl and his team came to take down a 35ft pine in our back garden and did the whole job so quickly and efficiency, and for a really decent price too! They were professional, friendly and tidy (swept up all the twigs and bits, and even cut up a few logs for our log burner) A couple of neighbours even asked for a quote having seen their work. We'd highly recommend them.

What a great service from a lovely guy. Even before we received our quote, Karl gave me loads of ideas and suggestions for how we can get our space looking the way we want it. Some of our programme of work was finished today and the bushes and laurels look great - Karl has fixed our years of hacking at them in one session! We are so delighted we are moving to a regular monthly maintenance with Karl because we are so happy with the work.

Karl did a fantastic job of looking after myself and my partners first home. We were initially very overwhelmed with the work required on our garden leading up to the summer, it was quite a bit overgrown. We called Karl who came out a couple of days later. He walked us through the front and back of our house, letting us ask all the silly questions we had until we came to a consensus on the work required in taking back all the ivy, cleaning up bushes and trees, maintaining the garden. The garden is amazing now, it’s so clean and we’ve gained back so much space. He took off years of growth. Very appreciative of Karl he’s really gone out the way for us, we will definitely be contacting him in the future for more jobs

Karl and his team did a brilliant job on my garden. Excellent communication before the job, arrived on time , completed high quality work and cleaned up. Definitely recommend for all aspects of tree work and gardening. Thanks Karl !

I would highly recommend them.

Karl and his colleagues are really trustworthy, efficient and reasonably priced. They chopped down a tree in our garden and removed ivy, as well as cutting back our neighbour’s trees that were overhanging. We have contacted Karl again recently for some more work and he has responded quickly with good advice that has saved us money if we had gone with another contractor. Would highly recommend.

Karl and his team came to do some long-awaited trimming of small to medium trees and big bushes that I hadn't done for a few years. They did an excellent job. The important thing for me was that the whole team knew what they were doing. They weren't there to just 'sort' the issue, they cut and trimmed in the right places and respected the plants and property. What was also important was that they did a proper clean up. No trace, after they'd gone. On top of all that, great people! 👍 No hesitation in recommending Karl and his team.

I thoroughly recommend Karl and his team for any type of garden work. They removed a large tree that had fallen from a neighbours property over into my garden during recent storms. My garden, including fencing was completely wrecked but they worked quickly and expertly to remove the tree and left the area tidy afterwards. I was worried about how my garden would be left but Karl and his team cleared everything away leaving the ground in excellent condition. I am 82 years of age and really appreciate the way that Karl helped me during this very worrying period. I will call on his services again should I need his assistance in such an emergency.

Had a great experience with Karl and his company. Excellent communication before during and after the job, he and his team removed budlea bushes from our building, not an easy task and one that we struggle with due to the many buildings surrounding us with similar problems. When our tree, hedging and bushes got out of hand we called on Fischer & Co to sort us out. The gales and storms caused our initial booking to be unavoidably delayed but Karl kept in touch and set another date. It was great to have the work done by highly experienced people who take pride in their work and have a perfectionist attitude. All waste was taken away and the garden left tidy. Everything has been done to a high standard and obviously we would highly recommend Karl and his team.

On Sunday one of our poplars snap in half and come down during the high winds. The way it had landed on our drive was quite dangerous olus it had also damaged another tree on it’s way down. Rang Karl on his emergency service number and he was out within 2 hours. Karl and team took the tree that was on our drive down safely which enabled us and our neighbour use the drive again. This morning Karl & team returned to remove the rest of the poplar. Took down another one that was leaning, removed a smaller horse chestnut and tidied the damaged conifer. The area is now safe and we have so much more light. We are very happy with the work done today. We had a butterfly bush that was growing in our garden wall causing a lot of damage. Karl and his team came out, removed it, administered poison to the parts still in the wall, and took the bush away. I was shown the roots that had been removed and advised that I could call them if there was any future sprouting from the part remaining in the wall (although the poison should take care of it). The price was good and messages were promptly replied to. I would definitely use their services again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

All round excellent service and communication start to finish! Karl and his team did a great job of getting my garden back to a manageable state for me. I can’t recommend enough, I don’t normally do reviews but in this case its needed, on time, efficient, polite and tidy. Will use again…

Really good team, kept us updated at all times, Will be using them again very soon.

I found Karl online when we uncovered a worrying invasive bamboo problem (get yours checked if you have any!) that was threatening to damage our house. I’m so glad I called him - he was calm and reassuring, came out quickly and within a few days we knew what we were dealing with (thankfully not as bad as we’d originally feared) and had a plan. He was meticulous in making sure it was removed, making several visits, and consulted us all the way through. We used his company for a couple of other jobs in the garden too and highly recommend them - well no doubt be using them again ourselves.

Best out there, thanks for all your hard work.

Cannot recommend them highly enough. Cleared a practical jungle from a back yard, and were very understanding. It was my Mum's house, who had passed away and there was a tree growing through the concrete. I'm so relieved it has been sorted out and the neighbours pacified. All without needing me to be present, which was so appreciated. Thankyou Karl and your team.

Communication from Karl has been great - from arranging a quote to booking a date, and then again leading up to the day of the garden clearance (of our very overgrown garden). Karl and the team arrived promptly, and are such a lovely, hardworking group of fellas. Checked we were happy with what they had done, and will be returning over the summer to complete routine maintenance (and hopefully restore the garden to its former glory). Thanks again, and will see you soon!

Had our conifers at the back trimmed. They had been fairly badly tended to by the previous owners of the house and needed a lot of attention. Karl and the team did a great job taking loads off the top and clearing it all out from the garden. Also gave us lots of helpful advice for the garden going forward and some ideas for further remodelling plans. Couldn’t recommend them any more highly!

After a couple of years trying to have work done to cut communal bushes, Fischerco was recommended to me. Karl and his team are professionals. They have explained the process and offered advice at every step. They are very knowledgable and friendly. They have a practical approach to work that saw the job completed with minimal fuss. They have been clean and tidy throughout the process, removing all the garden waste. I would certainly use this company again and highly recommend their work

The guys removed a tree & did a general tidy up of our new garden, that had been previously left in quite an overgrown state. They kept us informed of when they'd be coming, arrived at that time & did a great job. I'd highly recommend them.

Excellent service from this gardening firm. Kept up to date throughout the job via txt and verbal contact in person , friendly , excellent time keeping and fantastic end result to both my gardens.

The work Karl and his team did on my unbelievably overgrown garden was amazing. I can not fault anything they have done, proffesional but most of all a very kind and caring team who love their job ( and it shows) nothing is too much trouble for them and they really go above and beyond. The price was amazing for the amount of work they did (which was a lot to say the least) i have already recommended them to a lot of people who have enquired about my garden since. They definately be getting called to do the next stage :) if you want your garden doing properly at a great price then i can honestly say this is the company to do it without a doubt.

Karl and his team did a fantastic job of clearing my mums very overgrown garden, including a very high, ivy covered wall. They were very helpful and punctual. They took away all of the vegetation, cleaning up the area afterwards. I've decided, on the basis of their work this week, to have a regular scheduled visit to keep on top of things for my mum. I can highly recommend Fischerco to anyone looking for a professional team who can be trusted to arrive on time and to work hard to get the job done. Great job guys. 👍

Karl and his team did a great job clearing back our very overgrown back and front gardens. They were very helpful and punctual. They always arrived on time and didn't leave us waiting around and kept us updated every step of the way. They left the gardens tidy and took all of the waste away and have committed to the aftercare process. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a professional service.

Exceptionally speedy response from my first enquiry through to the work being carried out. Polite, friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent job. Highly recommended!

Karl and his team did a fantastic job transforming my neglected garden which resembled a jungle and have got it looking beautiful again. For the size of the garden and the amount of work it required, the price was unbeatable and the time it took them to complete it was very impressive. Thanks for everything Karl

After sending Karl a short WhatsApp video of the garden and arranging a date for them to start, the fabulous team from Fisherco arrived to worked their magic on our very neglected back garden. Nothing was to much to trouble for them. I would highly recommend Karl and talented team and will definitely be using them again.

Karl and his team did a great job - they were very friendly, gave great advice and cleaned up!

Karl and his team were professional and friendly. They were very approachable and I was able to talk through what I wanted. Karl gave a quote and then did everything we agreed. Really happy with work done, and everything tidy when they left. I would definitely recommend, and I will be having the team back for all of my future gardening jobs.

Karl and his team came in to overhaul our hugely overgrown garden which had been neglected for over ten years. I’d seen some of his videos on Facebook and liked the way they weren’t daunted by anything. I’d originally intended to get several quotes in before going ahead with the work but I was amazed by Karl’s price and so gave them the go ahead right away. As I wasn’t living at the property Karl sent me regular video updates and I’m absolutely delighted with the finished job. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Karl and his team. Thanks for giving us our garden back!

We were in urgent need for some garden waste removal and tidy for a party, he phoned me within hours of emailing him and the work was done the next day, very reasonable price and great job. Really nice guys both of them, will definetly use again

Excellent work by the crew on time and professional. Highly recommended.

Very speedy service. Karl and Fred (who are really nice chaps) pruned a number of fruit trees and a large conifer. Tidied up and offered some helpful advice. I recommend them.

I can’t recommend this company enough. They did a fantastic job on my Grandad’s overgrown garden, we couldn’t be more pleased. I felt at ease with Karl as soon as I met him. He is very professional and was extremely helpful. The company is very professional and showed me all their credentials so I was very comfortable with them having access to my elderly Grandad’s garden when I was unable to be present. I have recommended Karl and his team to many family and friends after the brilliant job they did for us. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for garden services in future. Thanks Karl and team.

Great job done by Karl and the team pruning our trees, conifer and holly bush. In addition, they removed an old apple tree to open up a great new space at the end of the garden, cut the grass and tidied everything up afterwards. What more could you ask for !

Karl and his team have done two excellent pieces of work on my garden, initially sorting out an overgrown and uncared for lawn and then sorting out an apple tree that was in severe need of pruning. Over and above that they have tidied up everything in the garden. I'd absolutely recommend them - brilliant service for a very reasonable price.

Karl has delivered Christmas trees to us for the last two years. His trees are beautiful, really good value for money and the delivery service is excellent. Would 100% recommend!

Karl and team did a great job of taking down a big conifer and trimming a cherry blossom that hadn’t been touched in years. Price was great too, will definitely be recommending! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Karl has been to us twice and has done a brilliant job. The garden looks much lighter now he has pruned the trees and cut back all the hedges. We will definitely be using Fisherco again.

I had been struggling to get a gardener to attend my property for months on end with promise after promise of arriving but never doing so. Luckily I contacted Karl who was pleasant and helpful on the phone. He called me back to arrange a date and time and followed this up with regular updates the day before his arrival and on the day with time of arrival. Karl talked me through what he was going to do as well as giving ideas of how to work on the garden over the coming months. The job was completed efficiently and to an excellent standard. Karl has attended a number of times now always keeping me informed of dates and times of arrival. He is always friendly and helpful and the work is always completed to a very high standard. I would highly recommend the service that is provided and will continue to use the service as nothing is too much trouble when he arrives.

Karl and Ralph did a fantastic job of trimming and shaping our hedges and shrubs but particularly in removing a huge phormium from our front garden which blocked the light and our view. A very tough plant indeed. They were professional, friendly, polite and reliable and both our neighbours on either side have said they will use Fischerco for work that they need doing in their own gardens Top marks guys.

Karl always does a great job at a good price. Always goes the extra mile to make sure everything looks nice.

My garden was in a very bad situation as we were away for more than 6 months. Within less than 2 hours the garden cleared and the waste removed away.. Very Friendly and Professional. We’ve agreed to take care of the garden on a regular basis 👌🏼 Thanks Karl & Fred
