Very helpful and well trained service at the shop in Guildford. The lady who helped us, Dhanya, is very friendly and has a great attitude. She tried to answer all my questions and guided us properly so we could decide better and make the best choice.

Extremely helpful advice and a very friendly service.

Had a real mixed bag with them. Last time we used them, their fitters damaged our flooring in another room. To be fair the management here did sort our a replacement vinyl to be laid to the same pattern so at least it was resolved but hardly ideal as you can imagine. Prices are competitive but I would suggest only purchasing the material from here and getting your own fitter.

Excellent customer service always

We've purchased the Hoxton carpet from Carpetright Guildford through Shahzad and had it fitted yesterday. Generally very happy with result and overall Carpetright experience. Shahzad the manager was very helpful and gave advice patiently, even though we changed our minds a few times about what we wanted!

Very let down by the GUILDFORD store. Seems to be the case that your inconvenience is not our problem! The Fitter said that we weren't booked in for the fitting, although the Store deny this, either way someone is lying. The fitters didn't finally confirm that they weren't coming until 6:30pm (after chasing) and we were left to deal with an empty lounge and no confirmed time for refitting. Managed to get them to fit the next day after complaining to the store. They were late and it was all done very begrudgingly - they were also missing a part which apparently was not at the depot. Not the sort of service I could recommend and really messed up arrangements made. The store has apologized, but apparently no compensation can be made for poor service by Carpetright, as it is not their policy! The store answered the phone when I called, however, don't think I would have heard at all unless I had chased and would probably still be waiting in an empty room...

We decided to use Carpet right after recommendations from a few people we know. So far we are happy with all, they offer an inspection service which we had carried out. The guy that came out was really helpful and talked us through all the additional items that we needed including changing a few grippers and a door bar. We then came back to Carpetright a few months later towards the end of our decoration project to choose a new carpet and arrange a fitting date. We dealt with Rachel who has made the whole process really easy especially as we have never bought carpet before and weren't really sure the difference between the products they do. Rachel has helped tailor the carpet and underlay to our needs whilst providing expectational service. We are now just waiting for the fitting date which is towards the end of January and we can finally complete our project.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We had carpet fitted from this store. The date of our prearranged fitting, I went in to labour. They still came and fitted, brilliant. However, they used our vacuum to clean up rather than bring one (which broke our vacuum in the process), but as we were in the hospital, we were not there to observe. 2 years later, we decided to lift some carpet because we had very squeaky floor boards. When we did this, we realised the fitter never installed the underlay or the grippers which we paid for. They simply reused what had been there. Talk about horrible business practice! We went back to the store the day after we discovered this, who then sent someone out to confirm our belief - which they did. Now, we have been emailing (yes, emailing - after requesting a PHONE call from a regional manager...no calls to date!) with the store manager who finally agreed to cover the cost of the proper underlay, but is charging us for install. Talk about shady, shady business practice!! AVOID at all cost!

Excellent service however we used furniture village not carpetright

Awful, ordered online, they delivered to the complete other end of the country not realising that the fitting address was different from the billing address, then told to cancel the order and when I tried to reorder the product as advised they told me it was no longer in the sale and it had doubled in price. I then recorded a different product, it came today completely the wrong colour to what I ordered and I now have no carpet and they really do not care dreadful customer service

Not good! LVT floor was fitted and we were left with a bubble in the flooring, and a leaking, wobbly toilet, and water damage to our ceiling. Tried to phone the store 20(!) times with no success. Went in to store to discuss the issues, and we were told that it would be possible to have a different fitter come back to fix the problems. The following day, after an exchange of emails, the original fitter, who I had requested not attend my property knocked on my door without warning! My toilet still wobbles, but I don't want anything to do with this store any more. Terrible disconnect between sales and fitting service which is sadly ingrained in the structure of this company. Definitely avoid if you have any other options, they don't deserve your business just because they're a big name in the industry.

So, so, so expensive with lots of extra charges.

Friendly and efficient

The most incompetent company I have ever experienced- DO NOT USE! I have lost count of the number of fittings they failed to attend or cancelled without notice after repeated booked slots... they also messed up my first order and fitting so I unfortunately had to book another slot which has now had three cancellations from product damage / not arriving. They really couldn’t give a damn about customer service - how the company is even in operation is beyond me!

We were sold carpets by Carpet Right Guildford and when they were fitted by them, we trusted their team to be in the house unattended. Not only did they fit carpets in a bedroom with blue marks over it and leave it, they used all 3 toilets in the house and did not flush. They left rubbish everywhere inside, empty drinks cans outside and all the offcuts spread all over the drive. It took 3 unhelpful phone calls to the store manager to get the carpet replaced. They always promised to call back and didn't, we chased every single call to get it sorted. Once they have sold you the carpet, the staff are very rude, abrupt and unhelpful. Do not respond to emails and never called back when they promised. DO NOT USE these people, save yourself a lot of time/effort and go somewhere else. The only redeeming thing was the fitters who came to solve another problem we had (carpet did not meet threshold)... they were actually helpful.

Oh dear, a fiasco from start to finish! Tried to get laminates done for our bedroom and study. Order placed and paid in full, promised a call 7-10 days to arrange fitting. After 14 days I rang them, took me over 6 hours to get the ring tone - always engaged. "We will ring you back" (but they never did), after about a week of this, they admitted it was out of stock until 10th October! So tried to get one room done, but the fitter turned up and didn't have all the materials, after 3 more attempts to get the fitting done, we returned to the store to sort it all out. They do not answer the phone, they do not return your calls, even their customer services failed to ring us back! I am pleased with the final result but it has been extremely hard work getting it done and I have had to be very very persistent with them. I would never use them again!

would never go there again !! The people that work there are so rude ,i wanted someone to come out and measure for me however the man i spoke too said i didnt need that and that if i could show him how big the room was he could just give me a price , i said no that i wanted someone to come out so he gave me a time and date but no one showed up !!!! That team must be losing carpet right thousands
