NBB Recycled Furniture

I want to begin by saying I’m over the moon with our new table. I had a hard time choosing what colour so I used the chat service on the website and the customer service I received was excellent and I had samples of the colours sent in the post. I didn’t wait for these to arrive as I was eager to order. I placed my order on a Saturday and received a phone call on Tuesday arranging delivery on Wednesday. Delivery was straightforward, delivered on a wooden pallet. Assembly was fairly straightforward, the table is very heavy so definitely needs 2 people to assemble. It’s a solid table and can tell it’s going to last many years with next to no maintenance. My only complaint is that because it’s recycled plastic the colours are never going to be the same however there are a couple of planks on our table that are very different to the rest. You’ll see these on the photo but I don’t think it’s going to bother us much. Some of the edges of the table are slightly rough too so I need to sand them down. Other than that we are extremely happy and can’t wait to use it for many years.

I have ordered a bench from NBB prior to ordering an additional item from them which is a combined bench and table. The quality of their products are excellent but the third party delivery service they use doesn’t live up to the product they are selling. As they deliver on wooden pallets which to me is a contradiction of terms when the sell products made out of recycled materials is somewhat a mystery to me. When I had the first item delivered I asked the delivery driver if he wood mind taking the pallet away he said yes that’s fine no problem today’s delivery couldn’t have been more different. I was told in no uncertain circumstances that this wasn’t an option even though he had got an empty lorry with the exception of one pallet. He then proceeded to tell me there would be no room on his lorry by the time he has picked up all his collections and that he was only meant to drop the pallet on the kerbside. I raised this with after sales at NBB and a very nice lady informed me that some drivers will take the pallets and others won’t. She has raised this with the owners numerous times and has just been told it’s on the website. Hence I won’t be using their services in the future and certainly won’t be recommending them fo friends, family or colleagues. So unless you have got the facilities to dispose of wooden pallets please think before you order from them.
