Frankie is a lovely guy and came up with some innovative ideas for our living room lighting that didn’t involve intrusive rewiring. He also fitted us some new power sockets for our wall mounted TV. He left everything clean and tidy and worked hard on one of the hottest days of the year! Would highly recommend Frankie if you are considering any electrical work done.

Frankie did an EICR for me along with smoke and heat detector installation, and some remedial work following the condition report, so he's done a few things for me over the past couple of months. He's prompt in communicating, clearly loves what does, works quickly, explains things well if you don't understand, and is really personable as well. Great customer service and you do feel he cares about his customers. I'll definitely be recommending Frankie to people I know and I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again.

Frankie installed several feature lights, a new transformer, and wired our Ring doorbell. I couldn’t be happier with the work. He is friendly, efficient, attentive to detail, and very good at finding smart solutions. The doorbell turned out not to be a straightforward job, as the model was not easily compatible with UK wiring, but Frankie found a creative and effective way to make it work. He also charges fairly and does not waste the time he is billing you for. One thing I especially appreciated is how tidy he is: he takes real care to clean up properly after the work is done and never leaves a mess behind. I highly recommend him.

Frankie is absolutely brilliant. Cannot recommend him enough. He's professional, thorough, knowledgeable and extremely transparent. Our Bright Sparks electrician (Frankie) arrived on time and carried out work to our sockets and lights quickly and efficiently. His good humor was appreciated. He supplied the test certificates and invoice shortly afterwards and we were able to pay by bank transfer. No hassle or drama.

Frankie did a great job installing some outside lights and came up with a clever solution so I could choose to have them on and also with a motion sensor, he talked me through exactly what he planned to do and it works perfectly, great communication, and did everything as agreed. I was so pleased I quickly had him back to sort out an issue with visible cables round a wall mounted TV and Soundbar, he also fitted under shelf lighting which looks great. As before great work, good at finding tricky solutions, on time and no mess. I’m a picky customer and couldn’t recommend Frankie too highly, absolutely delighted with the work he’s done for me!

Bright Sparks of York, were my third and final attempt to have two operational Google Nest doorbells installed in my property. The first ‘Nest Professional’ installed two doorbells on a single transformer, as a result of which one doorbell burnt out. A second ‘Professional’ installed a second transformer, but chose to ignore my cries for help when I realised that one doorbell had a faulty chime. I believe I found Bright Sparks through the Google Nest Help Centre, but I can strongly recommend using this business in the first instance. Had I done so, I’d have saved myself hundreds of pounds. Frankie, the personable, highly intelligent, and innovative owner, visited my property on three occasions, twice with Keith. After at least three hours on site, Frankie meticulously and impressively worked his way through his trouble-shooting regime, before skilfully identifying the technical issues. Frankie and Keith were polite, worked nonstop, and explained what they were doing in terms that even I could understand! I’ don’t think I’ll ever look for another York based electrician, and highly recommend this business. Thank you.

Frankie went above and beyond during our Nest thermostat installation. By pure unlucky coincidence our area had a power cut mid way through the appointment slot. Frankie kept going as far as he could and then popped round later in the day when the power was back on to finish the job.
