Excellent quality work and very professional team. Sorted out some exterior wiring for me and made everything water-tight. We were recommended Alex by a contractor we've used for many years, so we emailed in September to see if he had availability, but did not get a response. When we spoke to the contractor to see if there was anyone else he could recommend, he spoke to Alex and said that he could do the work after passing us his phone number. When we contacted Alex on WhatsApp, he told us to just email so it could be confirmed. In total, we sent 4 emails to Alex with no response. On WhatsApp, he kept telling us to email. After waiting from September to December, he told us "There’s nothing I can do bye!!!" in a message when I chased. I do not know why he didn't say he didn't have availability and just strung us along for months. It was very unprofessional. I would not recommend trying to book with Alex as a result. Edit: As a response to Alex's message, not only did his fellow contractor speak to him on our behalf, I also provided screenshots of our emails to him on WhatsApp when he kept directing me to email. It's disingenuous of him to say that he thought our enquiries were not genuine. For whatever reason, he did not want my business which is disappointing.

I located these people via the Web. It was my lucky day! They discovered and corrected a fault I had caused with my DIY innocence. They pointed out that my main fuse box was so old that it had become illegal and have since replaced it. A previous contractor has installed a pump into my hot water system. It worked but it was noisy and could be heard throughout the house whenever it was used. At my request ABM recommended, supplied and fitted a replacement pump with which I am very pleased. We now have hot water throughout the house at a decent pressure and without the pump waking up the neighbourhood. I have no problem in recommending this firm and their helpful, willing employees.

ABM Completed our Electrical condition report for the sale of our house, we were really impressed with the service we received they left everywhere very clean & tidy and there was minimal disruption. They also replaced 2 light fittings and a broken socket, fantastic service all round very happy. Will definitely use again.

It’s unfortunate that Ive had to leave this review. I wish I didn’t need to, however the electrics where just to electricy. The power was too powery and it’s just unbelievable. 0/10, I’m sorry to have to say this.

Alex and his team recently installed our EV charger, Alex attended in advance to complete a pre installation survey. On installation day the team arrived on time, the work was completed quickly and efficiently, the house was left neat and tidy. We had a query after the installtion but this was handled swiftly and we soon had a resolution. Certificates also arrived in good time too. Would certainly recomend ABM for anybody considering getting an EV charger installed.

I cannot sing the praises of this company enough as they really came up with the solution to a problem in record time My very elderly mother had problems with her lounge lights and I contacted Alex to come and investigate. Thank heavens we did as this turned out that this was a more complex problem than expected due to the age of the property and changing regulations. Given mum's age, this had to be handled carefully and it was agreed to do the work within a very specific time frame so as to minimize discomfort. Not only was the work done to time and at a reasonable price but the electricians actually moved furniture when needed and cleaned up as they went along.. The whole job was executed with excellent communication, courtesy and professionalism and I would recommend to anyone.

We needed a few bits and pieces doing in the house, some sockets putting in, a more powerful shower installing, sorting the electrics in the attic and putting in a light. Alex was very quick to respond, come and have a look and give us a very reasonable quote I thought. The team turned up on time, were professional and decent blokes. It turned out to be a bit trickier than anticipated and they worked hard all day and went above and beyond really. We were very impressed, it was a hot day and can't have been fun, especially sorting out the attic. They came back the next morning just to finish up and tidy up holes made etc. With it being an old house they uncovered some strange things! But managed to sort them out. Very pleased with everything, would highly recommend and would use again.

I've recently used ABM for a number of jobs, including a full rewire on a 1930s semi and installation of a Zappi EV charger. Needed someone to come quickly due to a conservatory company's electrician not being booked for the right date and to prevent delay ABM Electrical Services came out the next day and sorted out what needed to be done. They did an amazing job on a not so simple job. They then came back again after the conservatory was built and finished things off. Highly recommend to everyone. Great quality work. Alex and his team did a complete electrical rewiring of my house. Whilst it was a somewhat stressful(as expected) week or so, the team were very professional and made the process as painless as possible. Very impressed. The downstairs lights just weren't working in my home no matter what I tried for days. I got in touch with ABM Electrical Services and they came round the next day. I'm very happy with every aspect of the work done by ABM Electrical Services. It wasn't a big job - little things like fitting new wall and cupboard lights, sorting sockets and installing a couple of electric heaters, but they were great from start to finish. Alex came initially to give a quote. He was on time, helpful, friendly and was was happy to advise what work could be done and how to fit it within my limited budget. The quote and booking process was great as it was all online and the follow up communications with Jenny were quick, helpful and professional. On the day the work was done, Irek and Mike were excellent. They were helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, tidied up after themselves, were careful to make sure I was happy with their work and that I knew how everything worked afterwards. I couldn't fault them. After the job was complete, payment of the invoice was super easy as it was all done online using their system. I like that and PayPal was an option as I find it really concenient. I am happy with everything from beginning to end of their service. I will be using their services again and would definitely recommend ABM electrical services to anyone needing an electrician.

We got in touch with ABM for a full house re-wire following the purchase of an old mid-terrace property. Alex was quick to respond to our initial enquiry and came round a few days later. The quotation process was clear and helpful, talking through what we would like but also the information and advice Alex gave to us at this point was great. First impressions do count and we felt happy and safe in ABMs hands, having relocated from another part of the country, finding tradespeople hadnt been easy but this wasn’t the case with ABM. The guys came round on the agreed start date, on time every single morning. They were polite, respectful and we felt as though we were in good hands. We were kept in the loop with the daily plans and felt as though we knew what was happening and when. Special shout out to Mitch, Mike and Matt for doing such a fab job and working around me, working from home and needing wifi access the whole time, this wasn’t a problem for the guys and they were able to accommodate. Overcame problems and even though the job got bigger the more problematic wiring they uncovered they hardly charged me any more for the extra time it took (3 hours). Very impressed. We would not ask anyone else to do the electrical work at our house any more. Professionalism, skill, meticulousness, pride in their work, friendliness (and a long list of nouns and adjectives) would define the great team formed by Alex, Scott and Jenny. If you are still interested in the reasons why I reached the conclusion stated above, please continue reading. When I first contacted ABM Electrical Services I had two main concerns. The first was a straightforward electrical job that needed to be done (a short circuit and several other electrical works and repairs). The other job was more complex because it involved an extra dimension of restoration work apart from the core electrical issues. Namely, we had a collection of antique lights and lamps that needed rewiring and adapting to current safety electrical standards. The challenge, though, consisted in achieving this goal without altering the essence of the lights, in such a way that it would be imperceptible to the eye that they had been “modernised”. When Alex came to see the jobs our expectations were not great. First, because we had had previous unfortunate experiences with electrical work carried out at the house by other electricians,, but also because after much research trying to find someone to do the job, I had almost lost any hope of restoring the lights to their former glory. However, I thought I had nothing to lose by asking. From the very first moment, I knew I had found the right person. Alex told me he had not done that kind of work before, but would be happy to attempt it. His interest and enthusiasm were uplifting, and I immediately agreed to the very reasonable quote he provided for the job. Jenny managed to squeeze me in their busy schedule to start work as soon as possible (with lockdown still looming and house repairs being difficult to book). At this point I must introduce Scott, Alex’s assistant who has been as amazing as Alex in his skills and the care he takes in his work. In the end, all our lights and lamps are proudly displayed and brightening our home every day now! I could write several pages about how impressed we were at every stage of this process and many anecdotes to illustrate the professionalism, meticulousness and pride Alex and Scott showed in their work, and how Jenny was always ready to organise it, but for the purpose of this review suffice to say that I cannot imagine any better team to trust with a job in our home. (Furthermore, I trust Alex so much that now I ask him to recommend any tradesperson to carry out a job of any kind when we need one.)

I cannot speak highly enough for the work I have just had carried out by Alex and Jenny, we had significant time pressure and they managed to squeeze us in just before Christmas, the job had some tricky key logistics and they took care of everything with no hiccups, they have a fantastic 'can do' mentality.
