Several reviewers say Darren and Jack at Shaw Circuits Ltd were polite, friendly and professional, turned up when arranged and did quality work, and some have used them repeatedly for jobs such as consumer unit fits, light fittings, sockets and repairs. One reviewer says they were given a fair, reasonable bill. One reviewer reports that Darren attended to test their electrics and declared them unsafe, but that no quote was supplied afterwards despite chasing and no report was provided for the £250 assessment, and that another electrician later found faults dangerous enough to switch off all the circuits. Several reviewers say they would recommend the business or have already done so to family and friends.

Darren/Jack fitted me a new consumer unit during kitchen installation in our new home due to the old one being out of regs/potentially dangerous. Went above and beyond when checking things over and raising concerns with some dodgy DIY we had inherited. Trustworthy, honest, quality work at good rate. Will happy call again for electrical work 👍

Darren attended to test our electrics at the home we had just moved into. He declared it unsafe and said he'd provide a quote for the work he'd need the carry out in order to make it safe and I have been chasing this and still had no response (since 14/12/20). We have since had another electrician out because further faults occurred and were advised it was dangerous and switched all our electrics off due to the level of risk. It's worrying to think this company left us using all the circuits in the house which have all had to be disconnected due to risk of fire etc. We paid £250 for his assessment and not given a copy of the report which would have been helpful for our second electrician. Very disappointed since this was a recommendation from a friend.

Excellent service from the lads today, this is the second time I've used Shaw Circuits and have booked another job in, always on time, polite and tidy, and I was super impressed with all the safety checks after having my new consumer unit installed today. I've had light fittings installed, light switches repaired, outdoor sockets fitted, and about to have a single socket replaced with a double. Very happy with the service, they are now my 'go to' guys for all things electrical.
