I was struggling with whole EV charger installation. I knew I potentially needed ground work but didn’t know how much etc. The big electric company that I was going to use left me with more unanswered questions than solutions so I decided to call Severn Volts. Matt quickly assessed what was needed in terms of both ground work and installation; and delivered an extremely tidy job in a much quicker lead time than the big corporate could have. Would highly recommend.

I purchased my first EV lsst week and was unsure of the time and scale of the necessary works to install a 7.5kw home charger. I found Severn Volts Ltd on a local search of qualified and trusted installers, after speaking with Matt on the phone he agreed to come to my home the following day to undertake an inspection and discuss the options. He recommended numerous brands and we discussed my preferred budget. I went with Matts choice the Hypervolt and we talked through his recommended installation route. Works proceeded a few days later and Matt & his work colleague arrived promptly at the agreed time and works commenced in a professional manner. I am so pleased with the final outcome, the charger looks amazing, the setup and App control is so simple and works as expected. I cannot recommend this company enough, as an Engineering Manager and a qualified electrician the standard of work, attention to detail & friendly approach of Severn Volts is a breeze of fresh air, at no point during the installation or guidance from Matt did I think "Hold on this doesn't sound correct". Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to customer satisfaction, the pictures speak for themselves minus my garage junk lol and for a cost that's equal to a national energy companies installer, however for me it's about safety and compliance and trusting the traders with your families well-being. Matt replaced a submersible pump in a cellar prone to flooding. He came when he said he would, did the installation, tested thoroughly. and cleaned up after finishing. I would highly recommend him.
