Askwith Electrical Ltd

Many thanks to Adam and the team at Askwith Electrical for the installation of several floor electric points in my office. They took the time to truly understand what I needed, and to schedule installation with minimal disruption to the team (really appreciated!) Highly recommend them to any one for residential and/or commercial work.

Adam has just replaced lights in one of our bedrooms and has done an excellent job! He filled the hole from the old light and fitted down lights as requested. His work is of an excellent quality and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Contacted Adam as we had an issue with some sockets not working. He was very helpful over the phone with lots of suggestions as to what the issue may be, as he was busy on an emergency job. My issue was simple to resolve all thanks to is quick and efficient response. I would highly recommend him as he fixed my daughters sockets and wiring and done an excellent job quickly efficiently and very reasonably priced.

Great service from Adam as always. Great communication, leaves everything tidy and super speedy service. Thank you again, and see you next time

Adam and his team have done all of my electrical work over the last 7 years and I wouldn't use anyone else. There workmanship is excellent, they are always on time and communication is great but above all else they are just honest, down to earth, hard working people and that's something I really value. I couldn't recommend them enough.

I engaged the services of this company for some electrical work, and initially, the technician appeared knowledgeable. I noticed that the fee was slightly lower than other electricians, which caught my attention. However, I later discovered that the pricing structure included an additional apprentice, leading to a total cost of £65+VAT, rather than the expected £40+VAT. I also found their pace of work to be slower than anticipated. Upon receiving my first bill, I raised a concern regarding the charges for materials and hours worked, providing constructive feedback. The technician was receptive to my comments, and I ultimately paid the bill. I decided to give the technician another opportunity, clearly stipulating that he would handle the job alone. To my surprise, he chose to bring an assistant, which resulted in a higher bill with charges for two electricians. I disputed these charges, but he maintained his stance. Unfortunately, he then suggested involving a debt collection agency, which he did. Interestingly, the agency also found the charges to be unreasonable. I am now considering reporting this situation to escalate my concerns. In summary, I would advise others to clarify the scope of work and the number of electricians required before proceeding, to avoid unexpected charges. I can’t complain on his work as he did a good job but not for money..I big time felt cheated!!!

Adam and his crew at Askwith Electrical have done a brilliant job installing downlighters across our whole ground floor of our newbuild house, as well as some lights and switches in the garden. I would really recommend Askwith for any electrical work. In addition the team were really polite and professional plus completed the work early.

Excellent company with reasonable and fair pricing. Adam has done work for my business and home for many years. He never lets his customers down, is prompt, a tidy worker and always does a good job. If possible he goes above and beyond to help customers even when he is very busy. Adam and his staff are completely trustworthy. Cant recommend them enough.

Over the years we have a number of jobs both big and small done by Adam. He has always done a really good job and cleans up as he goes along. He is friendly, efficient, reliable and an expert at what he does. When we moved house once and found we could not use the cooker he make a special trip to us to get that done straight away. Don't know of many people that put themselves out for others. Thanks Adam for all your work in the oast your a five star person and electrician. Barry Morris

Used Askwith Electrical multiple times, work always done to the highest standard, on time and professional. Would recommend for any job big or small

The Askwith Electrical team have always provided first class service both at home and for my business; always professional, prompt and polite. Very happy to recommend

Askwith electrical retrofitted downlighters to my hallway - not an easy task with the way the upstairs floor was laid out. They did an awesome job, and made good on the work needed to route the cable from upstairs to the point that you wouldn’t know they’d been there! Would 100% recommend and use again!

Adam at Askwith Electrical is very knowledgeable, tidy and honest. I have replaced all my lights with his help and he couldn’t have been more polite or trustworthy. He cracked on whist I carried on working. Highly recommend.

Adam has carried out multiple electrical jobs for us at our property. He’s always been outstanding. Excellent knowledgable advice. Very neat work and cleaned up everything afterwards too. I trust him completely with work on our property. Highly recommend.

I have had the pleasure of having Adam do lots of work for us. Initially to work with fitting at kitchen, what was totally refreshing was him thinking where appliances would be place and making sure there was double the amount in specific areas. His workmanship is spot on, always clears up after himself too. He cares and listens. Couldn't recommend him enough, it's a relief to find a decent tradesman.

Adam has been the only electrician we wholeheartedly trust to do work in our house. After doing a fantastic job in our first property, we had Adam back earlier on this month to do a whole host of jobs for us in our new home. No job is too little or big, and the service is always second to none. I think it goes without saying that we would recommend him to anyone.
