We were delighted with the service we received from Gregor. A quick response time from my initial phone call. He had knowledge of the area of the Highlands that my husband and I live in. He was able to explain the size of the tank he used for areas like ours, a small country side road, he reassured me he knew about the older type sewage tanks and how to access them and what he would need for the job. They came when they said they would, were quick and tidy, helpful with questions asked and reassuring us they would be able to come back if we had any problems. Metro Plumb were sent as home emergency by our insurance company. There wasn't a really evident leak but we knew there was water damage to woodwork and plaster. Luke (776942) quickly identified the likely cause as the doughnut on the toilet cistern and had to report back to insurance for approval. Insurance messed about and hadn't provided this so I had to chase it up, they then sent them out on an another emergency call out. I spoke to Phil who said this is often an issue and her personally took it up with the insurance to chase through the approval, got it and then rebooked Luke for first thing the next available morning. He arrived bang on time, quickly fixed the leak and also replaced the flush as he said it looked worn and was likely to go imminently. He waited around to extensively test that the leak was fixed. He was very neat and tidy in his work as well as friendly and polite in his manner. Top job!

Phil was excellent when called out to assess a burst pipe. He arrived promptly and called enroute so we could plan our day around his visit. He was clear and open about what he was doing and always checked we were okay to proceed. He was able sort a temporary fix that allowed us to turn our water back on before returning with Jimmy his colleague to fully fix the issue. Later on we used both Phil and Jimmy to alter the plumbing to reduce the chances of any further problems and we are very pleased with their creative solution that saved a lot of time and money! This job was through my insurance company whom initially referred me to Dynorod, unfortunately I got a call from Dynorod telling me they couldn't attend same day to review and fix the the problem. Bear in mind this was referred through the 'emergency home care' so the service ideally should have been same day. The person who called from Dynorod had no urgency or even had and no further suggestions apart from closing my case and pushing it back to the insurance company. Emergency late night call out to fix an uncontainable bathroom leak that had also flooded the kitchen. Liam was here very quickly to not only only stop the leak but also fix the cause, and was thankfully able to do this with the power out. Liam went that extra mile by using a wet to dry vacuum to remove the excess water from the bathroom and kitchen floors.
