Great experience, the engineer was professional and get the job done.

James was very prompt and helpful dealing with our enquiry. Deeks were able to install our EV charger within a matter of weeks whereas other firms contacted would have taken over a month. Hayden who installed it was on time, efficient, tidy, friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant experience dealing with this company.

My reaction to a recent visit (by Aaron and Adam?) to connect up two Velux windows' blinds, high up in an inaccessible ceiling, which hadn't been connected by builders all of 15 years ago, was to thank them for doing their 'good deed for the day'! I'd blamed my husband for years for his useless techy skills in not being able to get the remote control to operate the blinds, only for the lads to bring an enormous ladder to reach the windows' mechanism, get up there, and do the necessary connection. Yes, we were paying - but by Jove, it felt like having had a good deed done for us! We'd anticipated that a 'tower' would have to be constructed for access, so the use of their huge ladder was an added bonus!

My experience with Deeks Electrical was great throughout our EV charger requirement. From first contact, James was very helpful and provided advice and recommendations. The systems were easy to use for payments. Josh installed our EV Charger and arrived on time on the day, explained everything, and was very friendly and clean. Very good and efficient

Had an issue with my solar system, Josh attended and diagnosed the issue was on the roof caused by pigeons! Luke arranged scaffolding, Ryan and Oscar removed the panels, Luke arranged a roof clean, James and Oscar then attended reinstalled the now clean panels and roof, system now working perfectly. Excellent service all round , highly recommended

Prompt service and excellent workmanship

In June 2025 Deeks undertook a full rewiring and solar panel/battery installation of our 19th century 5 bedroom cottage (with barn and workshop) in Dorset – which we had just purchased. They had previously undertaken a site visit and prepared an estimate and scope of work which we had accepted. Although we had used Deeks on many occasions on our previous property in Hertfordshire, we had no experience of using them on such a complex and expensive project. We were not disappointed with Deeks performance and they impressed us on a number of fronts. Firstly the team, led by James and comprising Sam, Oscar and Hayden were courteous and polite throughout the installation. Even when the work became particularly dirty, difficult and problematic we heard no complaints – and James kept us informed of the progress and plans throughout. Technically, the installation complied to the envisaged scope (as slightly amended following a thorough ‘walk around’ with James on day one). The scope was achieved despite un-envisaged difficulties with cable channelling – Dorset stone is incredibly hard – and restricted access to roof spaces. This did lead to a work extension of one week which was mutually agreed with Deeks senior management. The time extension took the pressure off of James’ team to the benefit of the project and everyone involved. The solar panel installation required scaffolding which proved problematic to arrange. Thankfully Deeks were willing and able to reschedule their work around the scaffolding availability. This did entail Deeks using a known sub-contractor for some of the work, but these subcontractors were as friendly and professional as James’ rewiring team. Deeks are available for work across the country and we would certainly recommend that you consider them for your project. The company is small enough to allow senior management to engage in the project and be available for discussions, yet they have the resources and technical expertise to complete this complicated installation.

Sam was super helpful, he carried out our certificates and pat testing, jumped under tables, moved bit out his way and allowed us to carry on with our own work while he did it. Many thanks

Luke and the whole Deeks team did a fantastic job on our Solar and battery installation! It was quick, efficient and they tidied up after themselves. But the thing that’s stood out to me the most is the after care, they’ve been fantastic! Highly recommend to anyone after Solar/ Batteries installed.

Highly disappointed. I’ve tried contacting Deeks electricals since December 2024 on several occasions (during their opening hours) but no one ever answered the phone and the answerphone tells you send an email (if digitally excluded, that might be tricky). Around 18th January 2025, I finally was able to speak to someone (I explained how difficult it was to speak to someone ; at least for advice/guidance me through the process) who advised that I email them pictures of possible location for my Ev charger and location of the fuse box; which I did. Never heard back from Deeks. I went to their office and was able to speak to their staff member (via the intercom) who asked if I emailed them and I confirmed that I did. The staff member said they will look into it and I will be contacted. Unfortunately, till date no contact from Deeks. I finally contacted a company in London, who talked me through the whole process, did a site visit, ordered the charger and completed installation; all within a week. Whilst I appreciate that Deeks may be busy, it would have been good practice to manage the expectations of potential customers, to let them know you can’t render your service to them instead of wasting their time hoping you would contact them. Will definitely not recommend.

Led by James, an excellent job. Installation of Tesla EV charging unit. Installation governed by Tesla. James used their newly updated app to make everything work. Great efficient service, will definitely use Deeks again

The solar PV system installed by Deeks for our club comprises 54 solar panels with a design annual yield of nearly 17,000kWh and batteries with storage capacity of 11.6kWh. The panels were installed on 3 sides of the 20 degree pitch hip roof. The installation was completed in November 2023 and has since operated reliably, with a daily yield (in March) of up to 60kWh. The installation team, led by Ryan, and under the overall supervision of Luke, were efficient, tidy and helpful. Our club are very happy to recommend Deeks as a high quality solar PV installer.

Luke and James arrived late at 7.15 pm due to being held up on their last job, in Torquay. I'm near Oxford. They were happy to go ahead and start the installation at that late hour and in the rain.
