Orio Electrical Services Ltd

Orio completed some electrical work on my property. From the off I felt like I was in good hands and that there was a good understanding of exactly what it was I was trying to achieve. The work was completed to a very good standard. I would happily use them again and would also be happy to recommend their services. Follow up work with Orio to install Solar Panels and batteries. Great communication, quality install and trouble free commissioning. highly recommended.

This is how customer service should be…. Our solar battery failed and because it was under warranty the manufacturer, Fox ESS sent a replacement. The problem I had was contacting my installer who wasn’t returning calls. I got a list of installers from Fox ESS and started phoning around. Orio Electrical Services was my first number I call because they had a 5 Star rating, but no one answered and I chose not to leave a message. While trying to phone other installers and hearing excuses about not touching a system they didn’t install, Olly from Orio called me back. He was happy to replace the battery and because it was under warranty, he would invoice Fox ESS directly (fantastic, one less stress for me). Olly and his apprentice Ollie (yes I know - what are the chances) arrived the following afternoon - they even gave me an hour’s notice. They quickly installed the replacement battery and even checked the previous installation to make sure it was okay. They left the site tidy. Olly then adopted my solar system under Orio so he could monitor it going forward, which I thought was a nice touch especially as he was under no obligation to do that. I don’t normally write reviews but I wanted to do this one because of how impressed I was with the service I received from Olly - thank you.

I can’t recommend Olly enough. He is efficient, friendly, communicates well about arrangements and also explained the issues in a way that I could understand without any knowledge of the intricacies of solar panels. Thanks Olly.

Olly fitted an electric charging point for me. He advised me on the different range of chargers available and on whether we had the appropriate safety features in place. He was very attentive and answered all my questions expertly. He also offered an extremely competitive price that was far better than other quotes I got from other local companies and checked in with me after the installation. I highly recommend Orio!

Really impressed with Ollys work. He demonstrates in depth knowledge of the electrics in my house and wired everything up perfectly for my new kitchen. Would highly recommend. He and his assistant were prompt, tidy, and did a really good job very pleased.

Olí went above and beyond what the brief was . Nothing was too much trouble and he helped create our dream home with all the everyday niceties that that implies . A thoughtful chap who you can depend on to bring your hopes and dreams to reality from the electric point of view .The solar panel installation was fantastic and we see the benefits when the sun is out . Installed in a sympathetic way to maximise the the efficiency of them and save us money. Many thanks Olí

This is the second time we’ve used Orio. Olly was the only electrician we would have trusted to do our kitchen re fit and we needed someone to basically rewire half the house. He was really helpful in guiding us through a lot of decisions around light positioning and zones. He’s also worked well alongside our builders making sure that everything fits into the final plan.

I had no idea how the panels worked or where to put them. Ollie, sorted it all out, fitted them and explained how to use the app to get the best possible outcome. They have been placed on our garage roof, so they are very discreet. It’s been a game changer, we can power our electric car and reduce our bills. I would highly recommend Orio electrical services.

Oli from Oreo fitted solar panels to our roof. He has done a brilliant job. He is very professional and coordinated timescales with the roofers fitting our new roof. Aftercare services have also been excellent. We are really chuffed with our solar output - as we also fitted a battery for storage so we can produce during the daytime and then charge our car overnight. Couldn't be happier with the service from start to finish. Thanks Oli

Orio was professional and very affordable, I am very happy and would definitely recommend this company to anyone! Ask for Oliver, he will advise you. Great service

Fantastic company to deal with, from start to finish, Ollys expertise and knowledge really helped us make decisions and the work he did was of a very high standard would 100% recommend.

Used Orio to have some new lighting and ring main put in. Olly was great. Clean, tidy and went to extra mile to get it done in a timely fashion. And all at good value for money.

Easy communication, turned up on time and did a good job for a fair price. Much better than any other electricians I have dealt with in the area. As well as a car charger, able to fully install a Google Nest / home camera setup - I would specifically recommend for a future Google Home setup to anyone that is considering this camera ecosystem

Olly installed solar panels and batteries. The system works really well and I am very pleased. He was very thoughtful and careful throughout the process, keeping me informed and showing me the work as it progressed. Olly has also been great at answering post-install and advising when there are issues with software etc.

Olly is unbelievably thorough. His knowledge is hugely reassuring. He wants to sort you out !

Extremely professional, competent, thoguhtful, and careful - all things I want an electrician to be! Can recommend. Did an extened range of small works for me and was willing to talk it through, explain, and explore options.

Great communication too, which made the whole process smooth from start to finish. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, quality work. Cheers, Olly!

Olly provides a unique service. If you have a solar/ electrical problem he makes it his problem and will work at the issue until it is resolved. Old fashion service delivered by a modern business. Just what I needed.

I was recommended to contact Olly at Orio to fit an EV charger. Olly came out to check the site and provided some really helpful guidance on the different chargers as well as where best to site the charger. The installation was very smooth and Olly is a very tidy worker, no dust or mess left behind which is not always the case when dealing with brick dust. He also arranged for UKPN to check my supply and was in contact to check everything was okay. I would highly recommend Orio.

I found using Orio Electrical services very agreeable and professional. Once I made contact I received a prompt reply to my query before the job was carried out for a very competitive price in fantastic time. Ollie is without a doubt the most conscientious tradesman I’ve ever met. He came out because as we had lost power to the 1st floor of our house and would not leave until he had found the fault and corrected it. Would highly recommend Derek Smith. Storrington

I'm really happy to recommend Olly and Orio Electrical Services. He is communicative, punctual, honest and really wanted to provide a good service. As a customer I really felt we came first. He explained exactly what he was doing and provided various options for solutions to allow choice, despite the issue in question (a shorting electrical supply to a pool house) being a little bespoke. There was no pressuring, just practical advice. I'd have no hesitation in asking him to help with any electrical issues again.

Olly is very professional, really passionate about his work and super friendly. He was able to talk me through the various options and aspects of a complex solar PV and battery system. He did designed based around our needs and budget. His installation was on budget and on time, his work is extremely neat, professional. I would highly recommend him for any electrical work and definitely talk to him about solar. We're really pleased with our investment.

Olly arrived and took time to go through the various pieces of work. He explained things and what timescales to expect, when those timescales changed he came and explained in person why and when to expect him. Delighted with the work, all done very quickly, very efficiently, very cleanly and very effectively, 5 stars.

Olly was extremely responsive, solved our problems quickly and was really great to work with. He’s very organised and I especially appreciated the way he explained what was going on and different options to help us make good decisions. Would totally recommend.

Excellent. Great advice and service. Most recently upgraded some older electrics to new smart/connected solutions. But has done many jobs over the years. Always my go to option.

Olly is excellent at what he does. Very efficient, reliable, safe, professional, competent and friendly. He has a great eye for detail and can identify problems that may have been missed to the untrained eye. (Mine) He has installed a Ring system in my home, installed an outside waterproof socket, fitted lights, switches, sockets and renewed my fuse board which was not safe. I highly recommend him and will be using him for other work. Thank you:)

Olly provided a first class service, was very quick to respond, and to diagnose and rectify an exterior wiring problem. I would definitely recommend him for any elecrical work!
