Our neighbour recommended GBsolar and he wasn’t wrong. They were really good from start to finish. Josh and Steve are always on the end of a phone to answer our questions…..which was much appreciated. We are only 3weeks in but all is going well so far 🙂

Everything ran incredibly smoothly with GB Solar, we would highly recommend them. Local company to Worksop who I had asked for a quotation on a previous property but not ended up going ahead so we were really glad to be able to use GB Solar on our new property. Everything pretty much met the estimated timeframes Gareth advised in the original meeting, there was no hard sell and no over promising, we had already made our mind up we wanted solar, Gareth just helped to steer us on panels and battery. Had an 18 panel system, Tesla powerwall, gateway and my energy eddi installed for a competitive price in less than two days. Scaffolding arranged prior to install and site team very respectful of the house. GB have also emphasised their aftercare as well so aren’t just there to complete the job. Very happy with the process and trust that everything has just happened in the background, thank you team GB!

Outstanding service and an exceptional solar & Powerwall installation! From start to finish, the customer service, support, and honest, knowledgeable advice have been excellent. The back-office team was brilliantly helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire planning process, keeping everything running smoothly. The installation team then followed up with excellent workmanship, working incredibly hard on-site. What really set them apart was their value for money and total transparency. Everything was included in the quote from day one with zero hidden costs (unlike other companies who try to charge extra for scaffolding or bird mesh). Even after the installation, the after-sales care and follow-up phone calls have been brilliant. We are absolutely thrilled with our new solar panels and Powerwall and would recommend GB Solar without hesitation!

Very helpfull

Gbsolar installed a new system for us at the back end of 2025. As I didn’t know much about solar, I relied on them to choose the system for me, based on what I wanted from it. They installed a Givenergy system. What I didn’t know at the time and have now discovered, is that Givenergy systems were on generation 3 by that time, a system which gives you 3.6 kWh of power to use at any time. I have now found out that the system they installed was a generation 1, a 4 year old design that only outputs 2.6kwh. In addition, they installed it in the loft at a time when it was already advised not to do this due to the risk of overheating. I have also found out that at the time it was installed, it was well known that Givenergy was in financial trouble and they went bankrupt in early 2026. The system works, but has numerous glitches, notably the battery dropping from 100% to zero in a matter of a few minutes at regular intervals. It also shut down in the recent hot weather due to overheating. While I am not saying that you shouldn’t use them, be very careful and make sure that you have done your research and spelled out exactly what you want in great detail.

Had a Tesla PW3 fitted by the team at GB Solar, professional from the first visit through to installation, definitely recommend the team.

Recently had a 19 panel Tesla Powerwall 3 system installed by GB Solar, from meeting Dan the system designer I was happy to trust them with the job. I’d done a bit of research prior to contacting GB Solar but when I did have a question they were able to help without any issues (even regarding heat pumps). Although the DNO part of the process does take quite a while and can be a little frustrating (which is totally out of any installers hands), where GB solar could make a difference they were top notch. Come install day, this was completed in a day and a half and all the lads in the job were polite and tidied up after the job was completed. Not only this, I found GB Solar to be on the more resonable side of pricing for some really great kit. It was nice to support a local business with this too. Thanks guys.

After a lengthy and detailed research for a solar array and battery storage, I was impressed with GB Solar, who answered my technical questions that assured me that I was choosing the right company. No Hard sell and the Team that came to site were very helpful and professional and addressed a few minor request with a 'can do attitude'. Since installation the system is performing above my expectation - I would highly recommend GB solar as your preferred installer.

Professional from start to finish After several pushy salesman phone calls from others all preaching, they have 5 star reviews, and all offering the same solar/battery setup, I opted to invite Dan for a quote, he was very informative and give me several options, explain all the pros and cons, eventually we went for 16 panels and a Tesla battery (I even got a rebate from Tesla) On the day of fitting, 3 lads turned up, again very professional, half the time I didn’t know they were there, they just got on with the job, and fitted the wiring where I needed it so I can box it all in out of sight, they tidied up as they went along at the end of the Install, they spent time explaining how everything worked, in simple terms, then off they went. Aftercare support has been second to none, any I’ve managed to reduce my electric bill by £90 a month, before I even start selling back to the grid. Overall if you are looking for Solar or even advice, I would highly recommend GB Solar.

I recently had GB Solar install 22 panels, a Tesla Gateway and Powerwall, and I have been really pleased with the whole process. Before choosing GB Solar, I spoke to several suppliers and spent a lot of time researching panels, batteries and different system options. The discussions I had with Steve were very helpful. He clearly explained his thinking, gave practical advice, and helped me understand why the proposed package was right for my property. After comparing the options, I found GB Solar’s package to be the best value. The installation itself was excellent. The team agreed the positioning of the equipment with me before carrying out the work, and the workmanship was very good throughout. They also did a great job of keeping the cabling discreet, which I really appreciated. So far, the system has performed better than I expected. In April, it generated over 1.2MW, with around 75% being exported back to the grid. It has worked so well that I am now planning to move from my V6 to an electric vehicle. One of the biggest benefits has been the resilience it gives my home. During a recent power cut, the whole village was without power for around three hours, but my house continued running as normal. Overall, I would happily recommend GB Solar. Good advice, good value, a neat installation, and a system that is already delivering more than I expected.

We shopped around and had quotes from a number of companies. What made GB Solar stand out from the others was how well informed they were, how they listened to what we wanted, answered our questions and the advice they gave. Unlike some of the other companies they weren't pushy at all and the pricing was great. Through every step of the process from initial enquiry to installation the communication was good and every member of staff professional, friendly, polite and a pleasure to deal with. The installation was quick with the minimum of fuss. The installation team were 3 great guys, very polite and professional who cracked on and got the job done in less than 3 days. We are very happy with the installation and the performance of our system. I cannot reccomend this company highly enough.

The system itself a powerwall 3 with an extra battery total storage 27kw and solar panels is performing better than estimated. GB Solar were recommended to me by a family member. They are based in Shireoaks where I live so it was nice to use a local company. They installed panels and a Tesla battery for me. Everyone I dealt with was professional and very helpful. Installation was quick and efficient, and I had full trust in all the team who worked on my house. Josh and Dan both had good knowledge of the Tesla app so linking everything up (Tesla charger & car) was made simple. Certification and paperwork was sent to me as soon as possible so I could progress an outgoing tariff. Overall, I am very pleased with the installation and I would fully recommend GB Solar.

End to end this is a great company. They came on a solid recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. From the start with Steve coming out and explaining what to do I was really pleased to just get honest advice with no hard sale. I was very pleased with the whole process and my dealings with every member of the team from GB Solar. Gareth answered all my questions in a way that I could understand. The installation team were also very professional during the day of installation. They worked quietly and efficiently, completing the work by late afternoon. Fitted us a home car charger. Really impressed at how tidy and efficient they were. They also showed us how to set it up so it charges at the cheapest time of day and how to care for it. My friends have also used these guys and have had a great experience with them. A good local business, staffed by all round top people.

My initial contact with GB Solar was with Steve, the Sales Manager, after completing an independent online enquiry about solar panel installers in my area. He introduced GB Solar, their ethos and what they were able to provide. I immediately felt at ease with his approach, listening to my questions, suggesting possible solutions and providing me with a quote within a couple of hours. He left it with me and to call should I have any questions. Having decided to go with GB Solar Steve was happy to prepare several designs until we’d reached the right fit for our circumstances, including late changes and the addition of panels on the north facing part of our roof and an Eddi. Once agreed in principal, Steve came over to survey our property. After more questions he arranged for Dan to come over and agree where the panels could be positioned. This resulted in some layout changes, but I was very happy with the outcome. When Sam, George and Dave arrived on day one of the installation they walked me through the plans, confirming where I’d like the various components locating and making suggestions to improve the overall aesthetics. They really worked well as a team, extremely professional and the pride they take in their work is a credit to them and GB Solar. On completion Sam took me through the Powerwall and myenergi apps. I have since been in contact with Josh who has taken time to go through the finer points of the Powerwall app. He recommended one of Octopus’ Smart tariffs and guided me through how to set it up. I doubt this will be the last time I’ll be in touch with Josh, but know that support is always on hand, and encouraged. The system has not been in a week, it has worked flawlessly, surprising me with the amount of energy produced so far. I look forward to dealing with the team at GB Solar in the future. We had an EV charger fitted by Dan and couldn't fault his service. Efficient and tidy and very patient when explaining how to use it. From initial enquiry, liaison with the power company, which was completed by Josh (due to us being a semi detached) to the actual install we couldn't fault them. Would highly recommend.

Home solar, Battery storage, EV charger & hot water heating system fitted by GB Solar. It has been a few weeks since my installation. I did some research about systems and installers and the reviewsfor this family company were brilliant, obviously i had a few companies around for a quote, some were giving the hard sell & some were trying to sell me something i didn't want & not listening to me. I can honestly say, from the first contact with Steve the sales manager it felt very comfortable & extremely knowledgeable, listened to what needed from the system and advised me what they could do for me. Brilliant service from start to end. Knowledgeable, informative, helpful, and quick. Very impressed. It can feel like a bit of a minefield when looking into getting solar panels, but Steve and the team quash any concerns with how they conduct themselves and the quality of the delivery.

From the moment Steve came to do the survey I felt confident that I’d chosen the right company. Everyone was very knowledgable and the install was done to a very high standard. I’m very happy with everything and it’s been running smoothly for the past 4 weeks. A few of the panels were damaged in transit and they were swapped without any quibble straight away. I would definitely recommend using them, they aren’t the cheapest but you get what you pay for which is attention to detail and a tidy install.

100% Satisfied. The team at GB Solar are fully convincing. On 9th Jul’25 GB Solar installed for me a TESLA Powerwall 3 battery. I had started my enquiry with four different suppliers, swiftly reduced to three. Each had quite different proposals. My power supply is unusual for a domestic property in that it has a 3-phase power supply. This caused considerable discussion; i.e. did the battery need to be a 3-phase battery or not? I wavered between all three suppliers before finally choosing GB Solar and their single-phase Tesla Powerwall 3. I must have worn them all out with my endless quest to understand each proposal. In the end, it was Steve Brown’s passionate advocacy for the Tesla that won me over. The installation took just under 5 hours and the two guys, Dan and Sam, were brilliant. They were cheerful, polite, well turned out and left the place neat and tidy. More importantly, they had endless patience explaining to me how the Tesla APP worked. They could have finished half an hour sooner I’m sure, but they never showed any sign of impatience with my slowness. Two days later I got a call from Josh who wanted to check up to see how I was getting on. There was a small problem with the app settings, which he fixed on-line as we spoke. He then went to answer, yes, more questions from me. A very helpful and timely call indeed. I am extremely pleased with the Tesla Powerwall 3. Mine is in the garage but it looks good enough to not be out of place inside your home. It is silent. More importantly to me, it can charge and deliver 14.8 KW-hrs of energy vs the advertised 13.5 kw-hrs. Free of charge, that increases my level of savings by almost 10%. Marvellous!

Recently had solar panels / battery fitted by GBSolar could not have gone smoother, great team of people, excellent initial presentation by Steve followed by a super installation team. New exactly what they were doing no wasting of time and all completed in 3 days. System has worked perfectly since and exceeded the amount of power advised in the quote. We’ve had our solar system for a couple of months now (16 panels and 9.5kwh battery) which has been flawless. The GBsolar team from the start were friendly, and gave clear explanations at each stage of the process. Providing a detailed proposal (including energy yield forecast and cost breakdown). On the day of installation GBsolar completed the setup and commissioned the system within the same day, and were professional and respectful throughout. After the installation, GBsolar provided all the relevant paperwork and post-installation support. Although we’ve not needed to contact GBsolar post-installation I have full confidence should we need to the team would be prompt in their response. Since going live, our energy bills have dropped significantly. We can highly recommend GBsolar for a smooth, transparent, and high-quality solar PV installation experience.

Failure to stick to agreed timetable. Failure to communicate. The fitters were excellent, the office needs a massive shakeup. I'm the roofer that tried to work with them. The office cost me alot of money and I will never use them again.

We've had our solar panels & battery storage system for 2 years now and wow, what a difference it has made! Our electricity bills are dramatically lower and in the summer months we can cover our electricity and hot water usage completely through what we generate. The team were fantastic from initial enquiry to installation and then with ongoing support afterwards. When we changed our internet provider Josh spotted straightaway that we'd gone offline and phoned us to get things back up & running. GB Solar is fine little company which did a great job installing solar panels, a battery and an EV charger at our home. The work has been done to a great standard and everything was well organised! The whole team did a great job but what especially stood out (and clinched the deal) was that Steve came over for a home visit before providing a quote. Most other installers did either quote online or would be pushy sales people. This was very different with GB Solar: Steve explained everything we needed to know and even discussed aspects of the install with us which other installers didn't even bother to mention (like where to locate everything). We were expecting that this kind of service would come at a premium price but the quote came in very competitive. Our system has been running very smoothly for nearly month now but whenever we did have questions the team was easy to get hold of and very helpful. Everything spot on here - can highly recommend!

Had my Solar PV with Battery installed by them. Superb service. My installation was a bit of a challenge due to the location of the mains breaker and the location of the inverter and battery. But they resolved it. I love my installation and have seen my electricity bill drop by 70% from April to May.

I was considering battery storeage as part of a bigger upgrade to my home, I came across GB Solar as being a local approved fitter for Tesla batteries. Steve booked a home visit with me and went through everything I needed to know, discussed placement and where the batteries would perform best. I had a couple of other quotes but felt more comfortable with GB Solar as Steve was more accessible, it felt more like a family business than a huge corporate company and I felt that meant I would get the after sales support too. Installation was spot on, done efficiently and everything explained about how it all worked. after 9 days I have had check up calls from Steve to make sure I am happy. Brilliant service from all the team. It started when Gareth came for a home visit even when he knew I was unlikely to go ahead with a purchase (an odd shaped roof led to poor quality quotes from larger competitors). However, the system and price offered were brilliant. The on site team were friendly and professional and even managed to fit an additional panel on compared to initial quote. All the wiring etc looks smart and the site was left tidy. The system seems to be working well. After sales service from Steph has been friendly and professional as well. Highly recommend.

GB Solar Excellent 5 Star Service Wanted a EV charger compatible with a potential future solar install, where do you go? GB Solar and what a excellent service and product. Fitted a Zappi EV Charger. Gaz was brilliant explaining everything from the start. After 3 quotes I decided on GB Solar who were very competitive and navigated me through the options. Dan did an excellent job in fitting, very tidy, explained how it worked, was brilliant in making sure it was fully tested and working. GB Solar did such a great job, seriously thinking about solar and battery install by GB Solar next.

I am very pleased with the solar panels and battery that GBSolar have installed. My house has a complicated roof and is tricky to scaffold but Steve who came to do the initial survey was extremely helpful at explaining the various options. The team who did the installation were very quick and efficient and it was all up and running in less than a day and a half. Now that the system has been running for a few weeks I am impressed with how easy it is to monitor. The after sales care has been great and Steve has checked in regularly to make sure that I am happy with how the system is working and he is always available if I have any questions. I chose GBSolar because the initial survey and quote was competitive and reassuringly informative, there was no pressure to make a quick decision and the promised aftercare has been good. This is now the second time I’ve had work done by GB Solar Ltd. It has been an excellent experience from start to finish, the installation lads have been extremely clean tidy and courteous, the office staff are very knowledgeable and go out of their way to help. This week they have fitted me a second 9.5 kw battery which was seamlessly added to my solar system and battery they fitted 7 months ago. The company works to a very high standard and takes great pride in their work just like I used to (Cabinet Maker) so I have a great eye for detail and extremely high standards. Having an ideal south facing roof I decided to investigate the possibility of installing solar panels and battery storage to reduce my energy bills. Knowing little about the technology I contacted a dozen or more companies to see what they offered. I was bombarded with emails and telephone calls offering free quotations, video consultations and appointments. Some sent quotations using a Google Earth image of the house without even contacting me to assess my requirements! Right from the first telephone call, GB Solar stood out from the rest. Steve Brown took an interest in what I wanted to achieve and was very keen to come and survey the house personally. He explained how they could help, where all the equipment would be sited and prepared a couple of proposals based on my energy consumption. Only one other company came close in repect of the personal service but their proposal was inferior to that offered by GB Solar so there was no contest. Once I placed the order I was kept fully informed when the installation would take place and it was commenced on the agreed date. The installation of the battery and inverter in the garage is extremely neat and tidy and still leaves plenty of room for the car! All the installation team were professional and the work was completed within 2 days. A slight issue with the wi-fi signal in the garage was resolved quickly with help from Josh. I have been delighted with the installation from start to finish and would not hesitate to recommend GB Solar to anyone considering solar panels and/or battery storage. I have used practically no electricity (5 kWh) from the grid in the month since it was installed and am quite amazed by the energy it generates in a summer which has been the worst for sunshine I can ever remember! Not only am I using practically no electricity from the grid I am exporting all the surplus which will contribute towards my gas bill. The GivEnergy app controlling the system is superbly easy to use and provides a mine of information about how the energy is being used. I am very pleased to award 5 stars to GB Solar for a faultless transaction.

They were outstanding from the outset with a detailed assessment followed by a range of competitive options fully priced and professionally presented. Not the lowest quote we had, but by far the most impressive. Steve, Josh and Steph were very patient in dealing with our many questions and concerns. Our installation team were friendly and professional and the work was completed uneventfully and very tidily over 2 days. Handover was good with clear explanations of the system and the relevant apps to monitor it. Soon afterwards we received a detailed handover pack along with the relevant guarantees, MCS certificate, Electrical Installation Certificate, Building Regs compliance certificate etc. We also had a post-installation follow-up visit by Steve and Josh which was very helpful. From start to finish I was thoroughly impressed with the service received from GBSolar. I entered into the inital 'quotes phase' with limited information and concerns about the sales vs quality of information but immediately felt comfortable with the information presented. Gareth was very helpful in educating me on the process, the options, the pros and cons and at no point did I feel like there was any hard selling. He listened to what I wanted to get out of the system and came up with the options for it. I had multiple follow up calls with Gareth too to answer questions I had based on further research and other quotes I had received. Once I had chosen the system and to go with GBSolar the customer service continued to be excellent. Updates on progress, quick turn around on the DNO paperwork and an installation date set by Steph. The installation was first class. The team that came and fitted all the equipment were all very friendly and professional and quickly resolved a couple of issues with commissioning the system. I was given a full run down on the system and helped with access to the apps on my phone. Post the system being installed the paperwork with the DNO was completed swiftly to allow for export tariffs to be set up and despite a manufacturer issue with one of the panels, it was resolved within a couple of days with the panel being replaced. I've now had the system installed for around 6 weeks and couldn't be happier. Its doing exactly as promised and more. Although I knew a little about solar and battery taking that step to an install was quite a leap. I did not have any recommendations so I did my research selecting a number of approved installers (from Givenergy my preferred equipment) and asked them to quote. where GB Solar stood out was the communication, they listened, listened to what I wanted and what my specific requirements were and how I intended to use my panels and battery. They were knowledgeable about the tariff I was using and why that was important to me but were also able to advise on elements I did not consider. This high level of communication and understanding was the same throughout the process no matter who I spoke to at GB Solar. The day of the install was no different and was completed without any issues and the install team were great, again communicating with me throughout the day to make aware of what was being done etc. Two weeks from the install I am seeing results in excess of what I expected and my goal of not drawing power from the grid during my peak hour billing is being achieved and it is only February. I would highly recommend GB Solar to anyone that was thinking of looking to install Solar/ battery or both.

Can not recommend these guys enough. Their pricing is really reasonable, all safety precautions are in place and the lads who did the fitting were really respectful. The owners really know their stuff. We wanted to completely max out the space on the roof and that's exactly what they did. Where as others disregarded our request based off Google maps rather then coming and looking. GB Solar supplied and installed a GivEnergy All-in-one battery and inverter in my home. Everyone at GB Solar has been helpful, courteous and they are clearly very knowledgeable and experienced in this kind of work . The installation was completed and commissioned in a few hours and they handled all the admin and documentation needed to ensure the system was properly authorised for connection to the national grid. Post installation support has been excellent. They are very responsive and worked with GivEnergy to resolve some teething problems so that my installation is now working perfectly. I don’t usually do reviews as I expect a good product and service as a matter of course. However when I encounter an exceptional company I like to let everyone else in on the information. GBsolar are just this type of company, I had a system of battery storage and Solar PV array installed. From the very first contact the communication with sales and technical was first class, with several options being regarded and proposals raised the final decision was made, site visits were arranged, permissions were applied for and installations set to begin. The install team were professional and respectful and delivered a quality job. Start to finish was about 2 weeks ! The final documentation quickly followed, and now a few months later the system has been faultless. Highly recommended.

GB solar have done a great job from start to finish on our solar panel and battery system install. Gareth spent a good amount of time explaining how everything works and what to expect before supplying a quote. The installation team were all polite,tidy and friendly and even all had the same coffees(milk ,one sugar) which made life simpler! The whole install looks very neat. Be prepared to spend a worrying amount of time looking at graphs and weather apps once you’re up and running. It’s quite obsessive.

Excellent service from start to finish including an after sales call about a week after fitting. We’ve had solar panels since 2011, but we wanted to add a back-up battery to the system. We approached GB Solar as both our daughters had had them install panels on their homes and were very happy to recommend them to us. Gareth explained everything very clearly and he patiently answered our questions when he came to discuss the work with us. We were then kept well informed of the progress of our order and the fitting team arrived on time on the appointed day and worked quietly and without fuss and left our garage very tidy as they finished up. The lead fitter then called us about a week after fitting to check that all was well and to ask if we had any questions. He stressed that they were always available for us to get back to them as and when we might need them. We’re very pleased with the performance of the battery and can’t wait to see how much it has saved us when we get our next bill. Both our daughters have had 18 panels installed a while ago and one of them told me recently that she had used almost no electricity from the grid since the panels were fitted. The panels on our daughters’ homes are very unobtrusive and one of them recently had a neighbour who was passing by on the street ask her who supplied and fitted them. She was pleased to tell them it was GB Solar. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Pity that I can't give them 6 stars on here!

I don't usually write reviews for products or services but when I've received such good service as provided by Gareth, Josh and their team, I feel easily compelled to highly recommend them. We were treated with genuine respect throughout and it was clear that providing us with a system that met our needs was their priority. We were also always kept informed of progress throughout the whole process. Most importantly, they did what they said they would do, no false promises. One of my main concerns to having solar installed was to maintain good integrity to my existing roof. I shouldn't have worried as they identified several damaged roof tiles at the beginning of the installation and replaced them before installing the panels. I'm not sure other companies would have bothered to do this. The installation of my solar, battery and EV charge point was compted neatly and stress free. Everyone at GB Solar took care of everything professionally and in our experience prioritized the customer's needs above all else. It's important to employ the right firm when making such a significant investment like solar, with GB Solar there was never any doubt I'd made the right choice.

GB Solar Ltd were recommended to me by a good friend and what a great choice they turned out to be. Install of 7 kw solar 18kw batteries on a stone house. Im abit keen on wiring runs on house and neatness of work done. Im very please with the work done,install team very good asked about position of everthing before mounting panels etc, All left clean and tidy. Good to find a company whos install team are as good as sales team, as sometimes what your promised is not what you get!. Thats not the case with GB solar. All paper applied for and returned quickly and ongoing support. Thank you

From the start it was a fantastic experience. Gareth came round and discussed absolutely everything, from the hardware itself to all the different interactions which can be done between the portal and the energy company! Very knowledgeable when it comes to solar. Laid out the expectations as to how long it will take to install, how long it will take to recoup the costs from the saving, and the quote was very competitive. On to the install day, the guys turned up as expected, and just cracked on. The scaffold was installed a couple of days prior, all organised by GB solar. Took them 2 days to install, and very clear instructions as to what to do to get it all set up. Would most certainly recommend to anyone, and have done already!

I am very happy with my Solar PV, Battery and Zappi EV charger and am happy to recommend GB Solar to anyone considering these technologies. I contacted GB Solar just after they reopened to new business in summer 2022 and they immediately set my expectations on timeline, which was slower than I’d hoped, but representative of a sector in which demand vastly exceeds supply. The quote process was very collaborative, discussing different technologies and options which would best meet my needs. And the format of the quote, expected performance of the panels, repayment timeline etc was easy to follow and digest. The instillation when scheduled in November 2022 was quick, professional, and the team were very patient explaining all the Apps, differences in measurements and data update frequencies.

Parting with Money is often a painful business, GBSolar made it easy for such a well organised install with the a very pleasant, cheery, competent and helpful team, who provided equipment that does what it says on the tin. Nice one.

From start to finish the team at GB solar have been excellent and professional. I inquired early 2022 and was placed on a waiting list, i was constantly updated by the team. The overall service has been quality, from Gareth conducting the survey and explaining the finer details of the PV system to the installation team and after sales have been excellent. The quality of workmanship is up there with the best i have seen, bird proofing has been correctly installed, the wiring and neatness of install is impressive with correct use of cable trunking etc. I would 100% recommend to use GB Solar. 2 days in December i have already generated 26kw of pure solar.

Very knowledgeable and happy to take their time giving advice around the right solar and battery system for our home. We now have an 8 panel solar system with a hybrid inverter and large(ish) 8.2kWh battery. It's very tidily installed in the loft. I was kept informed around delays due to scarcity of batteries at the time of accepting their proposal. Further the team has always been on the end of the phone or email to answer questions. The guys who installed the system were neat and tidy taking care to make things look right even up in the loft which is only used for storage. They were both hard working and took their time to communicate any issues allowing the right decision to be made first time. We've had the solar PV system in a little over 2 weeks and we have had no issues with it. It's covering almost all our electricity use especially on sunny days (do the washing then) and I'm looking forward to saving on the cost of electricity which is only going up and up making such systems good investments as well as helping the environment. I would thoroughly recommend them. They were not the most local of installers but they took the time to speak in person and on the phone to give advice with no pressure to buy which is always appreciated.

I was introduced to GB Solar by a marketing company. Gareth gave me full details of the battery storage system he recommended and a very competitive quote, but before placing the order, I took references from another company whom we had both worked with before. I then placed the order. The installation and commissioning was all carried out on the agreed date (without any mess), and I was given a full briefing on its workings and monitoring software. GB Solar continue to give me help and support as I get fully conversant with the software, and my system does what it says on the tin - very pleased with my purchase.

Darren dealt with the FIT application and both Gareth and Darren have been on hand afterwards to provide additional information requested to support the application. The only problem I have had is with British Gas who have requested the same information several times and Gareth and Darren have patiently assisted me with it. I’ve since had the hot water gadget installed (I couldn’t do this at the same time as I needed to have an immersion element fitted to my hot water tank). Gareth sourced the plumber to fit the immersion heater. This gadget is amazing, free piping hot water much better than gas fired hot water. I've had quite a few renovations over the last few years which has been stressful at times, but Gareth, Darren and team were professional, lovely, helpful and didn't cause me any stress at all.
