Elect-Rick Installation and Testing Ltd is reported by several reviewers as coming out at short notice or the same day to deal with problems such as lost power, blown lights, lack of heating, and a faulty oven; one reviewer said help was given on a bank holiday weekend and another reported a return visit late in the day after an unanswered call. Reviewers describe the people as courteous, friendly, informative and hard-working, with one mentioning Rick and Dan by name and another thanking Rick for his work. One reviewer said the business met the stated price and time on several visits, and one said all materials were supplied as requested. One reported an oven fixed in ten minutes with payment refused, while another had ground-floor rewiring completed in time for underfloor insulation. A single reviewer raised a critical point: they had been left with no sockets by a rogue company before Elect-Rick fixed the issues.
Was extremely pleased with the service I got for my mum in scarborough. Engineer went to my mums late in the day and she failed to answer and he went back in the eve and resolved the issue. Where do you find service like that nowadays?
Worked at price and time they stated on several visits. All members of the team we have met , courteous, friendly , efficient and informative . I was put on to Elect Rick by a work colleague who praised the outfit to high heavens . It was no exaggeration , this outfit does not need to advertise , I'm sure it would get by just on recommendation.
Contacted Wednesday, visited Thursday, job completed Friday! Absolutely delighted with the work carried out by Rick & Dan. Quick, efficient & no mess. They supplied all materials as requested & we are very pleased with everything they did including the price. Wholeheartedly recommend them for any electrical work that you may need. Also have extremely memorable Trade Name.
We cannot thank Elect-Rick enough for sorting out our electrics and making the necessary improvements to make our house safe. Great company, nice people and fantastic service. Highly recommended.

Excellent again Rick. But isn't Andrew tall compared with my 4'10"? Thanks again. Sandi
Fantastic service and a friendly engineer! Would 100% recommend to others. I needed a Nest thermostat and heat link installed and was efficient.
I was in a pickle with my Electric Oven, couldn't get it to work and was convinced it would need replacing. Rick came out at 7.50pm. He fixed it in ten minutes and refused payment. I would recommend Rick and give him five stars for his honest and wonderful service. I won't hesitate to use him again 😀
Came to rewire our ground floor in time for underfloor insulation to be fitted. Ancient wiring and one thing led to another but they worked expertly to get job done in time. Planning to use again for an extension job.
Rick came out at short notice and really helped us with a small problem. Thank you for being sooo fantastic.
Would recommend, came out on bank holiday weekend when my lights had blown and fitted new unit at very reasonable price.
